I saw The Mission when it was first on general release but not a 70mm blow-up. What a treat! A great record of a special film occasion again Clark and the assistant projectionist is clearly a talent for the future who will be there to help keep film alive for many years to come.
John.
Thank you for the kind words, John, they are greatly appreciated. Cheers!
Love the soundtrack to this movie. Sounds great on vinyl ❤
The Morricone score sounded great on this 6 track magnetic print. I’m sure it sounds excellent on vinyl.
Ps. Been watching a few episodes of the video store, they are great!
Cheers
@@ClarkTeddles thanks Clark! Keep up the good work! ❤️
Saw this film in 70mm six-track Dolby Stereo. Great visuals and great score by Ennio Morricone. How cool that you’re actually helping with the projector. I never got the chance to do that but that was a dream of mine.
That’s great to hear that you saw this film in the best possible way. For a 35mm blow-up print, it sure did look great. Being able to help the projectionist was very nice.

Saya suka banget kalau threading suatu film pada suatu proyektor akhirnya di perlihatkan hasil proyeksinya pada layar, meskipun hanya lewat jendela yg kecil. Rasa nya puas
Clark will u be making a video on the Star Wars 35 mm marathon?
Unfortunately not, but I will be filming it when the orpheum does it in early June.
Cheers
Do you have cinema Paradiso on reel?
Unfortunately not, but I am watching the 4K disc of it as I’m typing this comment. Quite the coincidence that you mention it!
@@ClarkTeddles 😀 love that movie! 👍 make sure to watch the 3 hour version 👌
Do you have a trainee assistant?
I was just doing little bits of tiny work around the booth and the projectionist, Benjamin, was kind enough and said I could credit myself as assistant projectionist. It’s nothing official.
Thanks for commenting and watching! Cheers
@@ClarkTeddles That's amazing...and to be in that booth....great ! Alot of fiddly threading of the film too which is a skill in itself ! Kind regards :)
