13:02 bayek could’ve died from the poison but that servant saved his life
Fahad Illahi who put the poison?
Justin Manadero Tarhaqa aka the scarab
tarhaqa did bc he was apart of the order
Give that servant a medal for saving the first Assassin
Tristan Sudarto omg tru
Taharqa was the most interesting character from the order of the ancients. He was the only one who managed to deceive Bayek and gain his trust. Taharqa came closest to killing Bayek.
Taharqa's betrayal was suprising
“We believe we need this to enter the vault” etc. = Ibis (Medunamun)
“THIS IS A WASTE OF TIME!” Lion - Flavius
“The boy is frightened, it's alright!” - Possibly the Ram (Ktesos) or the Jackal (Septimius)
“As medjay, you must have some key, or legend that explains its use. ” Possibly Lizard (Hetepi) or Vulture (Acteon)
“Talk to your son, if the vault isn't open when we return, yiu will never see him again.” - Possibly the Ram (Ktesos) beavuse i dont recognize the voice.
Hyena (Khaliset), Scarab (Taharqa), Crocodile (Berenike) and Scorpion (Pothinus), probably absent or watching the scene
Snake (Eudoros), mostly absent.
Correction (The Snake was another name for the Order of the Ancients as an organization):
Flavius (The Lion): "See that no one comes in."
Septimius (The Jackal): "Go ahead try it your way"
Pothinus (The Scorpion): "Your son has something to explain to you. Will the Ibis show him the orb (Apple of Eden)."
Medunamun (The Ibis): “We believe we need this (Apple of Eden) to enter the vault (Isu Vault)”
Flavius (The Lion): “THIS IS A WASTE OF TIME!”
Pothinus (The Scorpion): “The boy is frightened, it's alright!”
Rudjek (The Heron): “As medjay, you must have some key, or legend that explains its use."
Septimius (The Jackal): “Talk to your son, if the vault isn't open when we return, you will never see him again.”
What Happened:
The Order of the Ancients tried to have Bayek and Khemu open the vault. It failed because of Khemu's death. When Flavius had Bayek accidentally kill Khemu, the Order was in shock at what happened and Flavius' brutality. Over time, Flavius becomes the Grandmaster of the Egyptian Rite and Roman Rite of the Order of the Ancients, causing the Order to become more violent and sadistic than before. Following Flavius' death at Bayek's hands years later, Augustus Caesar took over the Order of the Ancients as its new Grandmaster.
The rest were absent and had their own agendas behind the scenes.
1. Taharqa (The Scarab) was rebuilding Letopolis.
2. Khaliset (The Hyena) was collecting Silica (elements used to power up Pieces of Eden) for the Order.
3. Berenike (The Crocodile) was brutally ruling Faiyum from the shadows.
4. Eudoros (The Hippo) was overseeing Ptolemy's court in the Pharoah's absence.
Love how trippy the confessions are
Bayek is the most admirable Assassin who ever lived and my 2nd favorite behind Connor
Why so, it seems some people may disagree? Just curious.
There doesn't seem too much that is admirable about him besides combat skill. He was a loyal stooge who accidentally killed his own son, and blames the group who took his son for it and has been killing them along with his wife whom he also lost when she became fanatical. What's to admire?
I agree. Definatly the most emotional, his opening scene when he kills the ibis with the mask, crazy. I'm actually like that too is , aggressive and brash but I wish i had more emotion.
@@EmptyMan000 stooge? wtf did you even play the game bayek is a fierce yet kind assassin who cares for the people.
@@manuelanguiano213 He was a stooge to Cleopatra and to Caeser. Never once question their actions. A pawn until it was too late.
The Egyptians have Africanish accents.
The Greeks have Greekish accents.
The Romans...
... have English accents.
WhAt accent would the romans have?
Takeur Pills maybe Italian? Not sure tbh
Romans are sophisticated
Englishmen are sophisticated
Baddabing baddaboom
Not all Greeks in this game have Greek accents. A lot of them are weirdly British also, like Eudoros and Pothinus. Aya is also Greek, but doesn’t really have a Greek accent. And the Egyptian’s accents sound bizarrely Nigerian, rather than Afro-Asiatic. Egyptian accents would sound somewhat similar to Arabic and Hebrew accents (besides Coptic and Berber, those languages are the closest to ancient Egyptian) , definitely not Nigerian or Western/Central African.
Takeur Pills they would have a Latin accent. It would sound vaguely similar to an Italian accent, were they to speak English.
They are so needlessly cruel and ineffective, it's unbelievable.
-The Lizard is cruel because he wants to discredit the current traditions of Egypt (that are half greek and half egyptian) and make people return to the traditions purely egyptians, as he fears that Egypt may loose its identity;
-Gennadios is cruel because his job is to impose order and ensure that the law is fulfilled, and since law in the ancient world was incredibly harsh, he believed he had to be harsh as well;
-Taharqa was cruel because he needed to keep people there in line so that he could fulfill his dream of rebuilding Letopolis as much as he could, and since that was a time in which everyone, for example Cleopatra's family and herself, betrayed their families and friends for what they claimed to be the good of the Egypt, he believed he had to do those things, after all, everyone else did those kind of things;
-Khaliset was cruel because she needed to keep the criminals in there in line since they were the only kind of people willing to offer her the sacrifices she needed to ressurect her daughter;
-Ponthinus wasn't really cruel, he just went with the rest of the Order's cruelty because he needed them to impose order over Egypt and because it's not like he could simply declare war on them and get out alive;
-The rest is just cruel either because they like to be or because they've got horrible causes.
@@JabamiLain And yet the Lizard is working for Flavius and Septimius, who are working for Ceaser and thus for Rome, kinda counterproductive to serve foreign invaders if it want to keep your people's culture conservative and being traditional.
Gennadios is just a grunt for the order, his cruelty is just as unjustifiable as that of the order.
Taharqa wants to built a city, which is admirable, ok I give you that, he isn't just cruel for the sake of it.
Khaliset is going against her religion, humans cannot bring back the dead, she is just pointlessly killing people, especially when there is no artifact in the story that can revive them, so how did she started her search. Yeah, she has sympathetic reasons, still she is needlessly cruel.
Ponthius was still a servant of the order and did nothing to stop them. Yeah he is less evil than the rest, but his lack of strong convictions makes him just a glorified grunt.
Still the order as a whole, despite its few shimmers of light is too cruel to be even be allowed ruling their own members. Death of imprisonment is the punishment they deserve.
@@basilofgoodwishes4138 true.
The Order of the Ancients was a formidable Isu Paganist organization dedicated to resurrecting the Isu race and their Ancient Civilization. They wielded substantial power and harnessed it for extensive research into the Pieces of Eden, the Sages, Isu archives, and the Isu Temples. The Order exerted significant influence across regions like Egypt, Persia, Greece, Rome, Baghdad, China, England, and Norway. However, the combined efforts of the Hidden Ones, alongside the rise of Christianity and Islam, eventually eroded their strength and numbers, leading to persecution. Over time, the Order gradually lost its global control and was eventually supplanted by the Templar Order, which was founded by King Alfred the Great. King Alfred, a devoted Christian, vehemently opposed the Order due to its paganist beliefs but admired their vision of unifying and bringing order to the world. As a result, the Templar Order, in collaboration with the Hidden Ones, systematically dismantled the Order and their research on the Isu. Interestingly, despite originating as a Christian organization, the Templar Order ultimately abandoned their faith in God after discovering the existence of the Isu during the Third Crusade.
This is my favorite one so far!! Thank you!!
You're welcome! Thank you for watching.
One of the best games ever
Ehhh it should've been way better
@@tastycookiechip whatever
I feel as though it having the AC title discredits how good this game really is I mean if it wasn't linked to the older ones it could be free of that whole "it's not the same" excuse people use when they don't want to say a game is good
@@SecondAftermath Here’s the thing, had they kept it similar to let’s say Unity and Syndicate, people would just say it’s repetitive in order to avoid saying it’s good as well. There’s no pleasing these kind of people.
@@tastycookiechip
In what way?
Nothing? Nada? Ok then…
Weird how Septimius is the same build as Bayek yet close to the end he’s much bigger than him. Don’t know if they bulked up or pigged out since killing his son, but they sure as hell don’t look the same as when they were first introduced.
fr Rudjek gained a few in a year
I think it's the armor
The whole first scene was chilling 3:54
I think this game had the best roster of Templars of all AC games
This game has a good roster of Templars no doubt, but i would go with AC1 as the best roster of Templars.
These are not Templar, they are Order of Ancients.
@@sophiawilson8696 the Order of the Ancients is the proto-Templar organization. The Templars literally are the Order of the Ancients, merely with a new name.
@@sophiawilson8696 - Just like the Assassin Brotherhood was once known as "Hidden ones." Both organizations evolved along with their names.
That might go to 1 and Black Flag actually. Origins is good though.
He will learn just like Ezio revenge won’t bring your family back. Man fuck odyssey they should have continued Bayek story,
Fr I was surprised that they didnt make a sequel for him
Bayek's voice actor is amazing!
I cried
I did find the introduction of Origins a great change in pace from the previous games.
Thankfully the order of the ancients remained in the latest AC games and I hope it never leaves
It can only go so far.
I felt like I heard Adewele
Bayek is Underrated and Hated For no Reason
Nice video
Thanks!
The order of the ancients- The birth of the Templar order
Please do Assassin’s Creed Odyssey- The Cult of Kosmos.

Sadly, I have made the decision to not edit videos for AC: Odyssey. Since it will be a full RPG with variable cut scenes and interactions, I can't devote the time needed to capture complete footage. It seems that I've inspired other UA-camrs to create character-driven videos and it is my hope that they will be able to keep it going.
@polycraft empire
Yeah. It wasn't an easy decision but I have too many other commitments.
@@Sevvina I respect your decision for that, it's a shame that Ubisoft is changing up the AC games to be choice based.
Wish Ubisoft will update the game to show which choice is canonical rather than relegating to the novel.
@@brutal2826 It's not a shame at all, player agency is always a good thing.
i really dont understand the whole "black void thing" after you've killed your target. Seems to drag itself out too much.
confessions/interrogations
They establish some sort of telepathic connection that creates an hallucination based on their beliefs and actions.
17:22 Did they just do the Texas Tap?
@DracoRogue1218
Basically, yes. I find it interesting how casual customs like that pop up all over the world and throughout history.
And they still live among us.
They live... where? SUS
Are they the Temples?
@Jose Mendoza
Yes, the Order of the Ancients eventually became the Templars.

@ZayedG Haroon Never really played odyssey, but it was way worse than origins story
@@saschasuschi5035 whatever I still like Origins story and Combat
@@saschasuschi5035 Not really, it was kind of decent. Rogue, Unity, Syndicate and Odyssey? Absolute trash.
My favorite ending part Bayek already kill the leader and Aya kill the Vice so the whole enemies are gone.
