Looks like a bunch of fun. When I was a young fella' the banks of the Goulburn River broke and flooded a dam on the property, the stream coming from the river was only about 1m wide and a few centimeters high, but hundreds upon hundreds of carp were trying to swim up the stream to the river. I've never caught more carp in my life, but we were using shovels and lumps of wood 🤣🤣
Great episode fellas🇦🇺
Well done, buddy! Keep up the great work!💪💪
Thanks mate 🙏
Have you fished along Gardiners Creek near the East Malvern RSL? Access off Winton Rd. Plenty of parking around the sports grounds but very full on weekends with junior sports. I went to a meeting at the RSL and went for a walk along the creek before dinner. There were plenty of big carp and possibly reddies in the creek. cheers
Hey bro seen a few of ya vids, from Melbourne area your vids are mad, sick content. subscribed, chur brotha 🤙🏽
Fair effort blokes..Keep up the good work. Have you ever fished the Marybyrnong down Brimbank Park? Haven't fished down there in ten yrs. Just wondering what sort of monsters are lurking in there 🤘🔥💯
I do have videos down in that exact spot from a while ago and was catching redfin, estuary perch, carp and eels but then i found a huge sewerage leak and the fishing slowed down and now has been hard to find the quality fish i used to get in there. Worth another look though, I will have a look next time i am in that area 👌🎣
@juzadventures Kool bruva, I'll have to look for the Vid. We used to go home smelling like sewerage as kids from swimming in there 🤣 It just got more contaminated over time. There is absolutely no way I'd swim in there these days 😏💯 Thanx for the feedback legend and keep up the good work 🔥☝️
The Marby at Avondale Heights during summer, carp city the disgusting things
What braid are you running on the freams mate?
Hey m8 I'm from new zealand I love watching it sort of like newzealand rivers
You should try fishing shankland drain.
Carp on light line is bloody awesome ay! I can’t believe ya lost all of ya line 😂😂, I’ve never seen that… Im tryna get a big carp on my 1-2kg 6lb setup, I reckon it would be awesome!
Keep up the awesome work juz! Great to see bacon once again! It’s always a laugh/pleasure when he comes on! Tight lines brotha! 🎣🤙🎣🤙🎣🤙🎣🤙 yeyeyeye
I was shocked when i set the hook and there was nothing there 😂
You need to get it done mate, It is guaranteed possible just let it run and hope it comes in without to much of a fight 🤞
Glad you enjoyed mate, Keep up the good work
Done that for years , great fun on 1Kg Win some loose some. 4.62 kilo to date at Morgan SA river Murray bank fishing. Single size 4 circle hook, fish catch themselves, running rig, don't have to set hook so don't break line. Bloody hard to tie knots though Pick a clear the spot, Good luck
Some very nice carp!.. Love to catch them! 👍👊💪
Great mud marlin guys . Awesome.
Great video buddy
HEY BRO, happy new year... what doo you do with the carp after you kill them... do you eat them or what? just wondering....
shit to eat. Try it once. Leave it to nature. Also makes good compost
Do you dampen the bread to keep in on the hook when you first attach it?
Dude could I ask what rig you use? How you set up. I fish at Berwick springs lake and get little bites but no hook ups. Not like the bites and hook ups you get. I think the fish eat well lol
I generally run 8lb braid to 8lb leader so i can cast far on a light rod with a light bait and i use an unweighted rig with no sinker and only a small hook with white bread that is fluffy and natural on the tip of the hook but really compressed onto the shank of the hook. It should be compressed that much it turns almost into a dough and the end should be fluffy. Use only the middle of the bread the white bits and no crust on the hook. Use the crust and throw small pieces on the surface as crust floats as burley and watch for carp to surface and if they do then reel up an unweighted rod and put a fresh bait and cast in front of the feeding fish only when you can see it and if you cast past and reel the bait along the top towards the fish and pause when the bread is on top of the fish.
Always cast near the banks or reeds or any structure if possible until you see moving fish on top
@ cheers bro
do you find tilapia in Melbourne ?
Love to know some of these places down Mornington peninsula way. Any ideas?
Outstanding now “That’s Fishing 🎣” yewwwwwwww
was a ripper day on the water exploring some new waterways
Great session guys good old Charlie carp just watched a vid from overseas where they smoked the carp interesting, are tiger snakes more aggressive than the red belly.
Red Bellies are ok. Browns not so much Love the vid 👍
Fish the dam in Caulfield Racecourse
Huge carp in there and goldfish yabbies
I fish end of Dandenong creek must be so polluted, looking at images taken last year same time 20/30 carp a day to O for bout last 4 weeks .is it pollution/ poisoning.hope me and all local residents of Carrum don't die.keep up great videos mate
Being a bit of a snake lover i dont really believe the snakes are attracted to dead carp, Its summer in melbourne, so there will be hundreds of snakes near that body of water to cool off being cold blooded on a warm day.
Unless the carp bodies attract mice and rats for snakes to feed on?
Living near the maribyrnong river and steels creek in keilor park i keep my eye out for snakes like u do fish. I dont handle them but i love watching them when they dont just go and hide strait away
Seen snakes investigate dead carp many a time.
THEY ATTRACT RATS AND MICE, THEN THE SNAKES MOVE IN. ITS WHAT HAPPENS UP ON THE GOULBURN RIVER WHEN IM UP THERE
Hey mate, the snake are around because that’s their habitat not because of the carp.
Bacon loves wiggle sticks!
I love a wiggle stick 😂
What's the story behind the name of Bacon?
Looks like a good spot to have a swim light the bbq and cook some fish
Super polluted that water used to be the old tip over the road years ago..
If you don’t mind me asking where about do you live? Also great content I subbed.🐟
where there is water there are fish,
inspired ! looking at Google Maps of my local waterways.👍🤘
How do you properly dispose of your carp?
That is if you dont have a shovel handy.
leave them for nature to take care of Its gone is 5 days max
Is cut carp good bait?
It is really good for cod but never trued for anything else but cod and yabbies/crayfish
@ thanks mate👍
I was thinking for crab pots ,but I,m in Queensland, and we have laws say we have to bin them.
I've heard of people using them as shark bait for gummies
@ yeah small carp are good for a lot of salt water fish
This is in Epping, those ponds would be so polluted, the fish are likely mutated and would probally survive a nuclear war...lol
Red belly black, sick! JC
It was so beautiful in person
Seen 1 over 3 metres not long ago , he stood up the like a cobra ,Commodore widow height, cranky big boy he was.
@ I love to hear of stories like this and know that no one was struck. I have had a trapped red belly cobra head at me and came straight towards me and i ran and jumped into my mates arms and we legged it! It was maybe 2.5m-3m as well in the ottways forrest wading for trout
Dead fish attract rats, rats attract snakes.
i know exactly where your first spot is 😁😁
Get down there and have a crack mate, There is yabbies as well in there as well but be careful of the snakes down there 👌
Do carp eat the mozzie larvae
The heavy metals, bacteria from dog poo and human waste and god knows what else makes that spot pure sport fishing. I would eat nothing at all out of there - not even a yabbie ey.
Local immigrants will pay 8 bucks a carp for their restaurants. Not even joking
@@ACDZ123 That's gross, please report them to the health authority so they can be deported.
What are you using for bait?
Bread
Corn works 💪 too
Not enough YEYEYEW sounds. Please fix this !
Hi Juz Adventures, I know where both spots are. 😁
Where bro?
How you disposing of the carp? I’ve been donking them and slitting the belly and putting back into the water (sometimes with a stone stuffed in the carcass for good measure) but I have had a few “floaters” which isn’t great in some of the very suburban creeks that back onto peoples houses ….. the family would not appreciate me bringing them home so are there any more creative ways of making them disappear? Great vid btw - always entertaining - love the urban stuff
I’ve heard if u put them back in the water and they have eggs they will spawn
All good I think - they won’t be fertilised eggs so no risk of them becoming more carp. Spawning happens at specific times/locations with live fish so I think there’s zero risk. If it was an issue I expect fishing regs wouldn’t allow dead carp to go back into the water….
in NSW you cant put them back in the water at all, live or dead
Chooks love them and so do tomatoes.
If you're looking for a fish patty meat, the ribcage on them is easy to debone and can be minced up easy. Herbs, spices, boiled spuds and whatever else is in the recipe, nobody will know that it's carp meat.
But again, you need a truckload of them to have enough to make enough for it to be worth doing.
Illegal to return them to water once caught in Aus. If you kill them and then put their bodies on the water they only get eaten by other carp and also increase ammonia levels etc from the corpse decaying. Can be very bad for the health of the water system.
Why don't people eat the carps? Are they bad eating?
yes
A lot of people eat them but i would never recommend eating any fish from a waterway so close to an urban city as it is contaminated and polluted and unhealthy for human consumption.
Even in clean water like lake eildon or goulburn river and murray river they taste like mud as they are bottom feeders and eat anything living in the mud and they smell bad and have a lot of bones
@@juzadventures thanks for the heads up mate
Very big eats in the eastern Europe area
From the drain, no, but actually they are haven’t been stressed, they are supposed to be really delicious and highly prized in many countries
khu này bị khô hạn hay sao mà cá chết nhiều vậy bạn
Im only here for the Yeeeyeeeeeyeee and Yewwwwwwoooo noises , please like if you are too
Have you ever thought about fishing somewhere you can eat the fish and cook it. I would watch 👍
Location plz ?
Good Eating 👍
We leave them for the pigs, they love them.
Yeah, thats what the guys who left these in the vid said. All you are doing is breeding millions of blowflies. If you are just going to leave them on the banks then you are the pigs...........
first
Love to see it mate, Thanks for being the first and supporting the channel 🙏
@ all good mate ur prob my fav youtuber tbh
the YI YI YI YI brought me here...
