How does the system know to switch from AM to PM modes? I noticed that there isn’t a defining AM/PM on the clock but there’s an AM/PM illumination setting… I wired everything up power wise. I don’t have the temp, tach, oil or speed connected yet in anticipation of an engine swap but for $1500 this thing can’t tell what time of day it is? It didn’t even illuminate when I turn it on, it turns on but I have to hit the switch for it to actually light up…
What do you mean by am or pm mode? Do you mean in regards to being back lit? That is set by having your headlights on or off. You can set the brightness to different levels (or off) for when the lights are off and when the lights are on
@@LifeatSpeed I didn’t even connect it to my headlights because I figured it would have had the programming for AM/PM for an automatic adjustment. Which slot is for the headlights?
@@MCFABRICATION I don't know of any gauge lighting that is tied to the clock. If you think about, if it was tied to the clock then at noon the dash lights would come on and turn off at midnight. Now the automatic lights have a sunlight sensor, but they still run everything through the headlight circuit. I don't remember off hand where the lights wire into the box, but the box should be labeled appropriately and the instructions are pretty clear and straight forward.
Unfortunately if you didn't find the instructions that came with the kit useful (assuming they're the same ones I have), then your best option is going to be to pay someone to set it up for you.
Looks like it’s easy to configure. Awesome
Surprisingly simple!
Is it just the opposite of the Ford 73-10?
The Mopar is 10-80, so kinda close to the opposite of the Ford 73-10
Where did you mount that toggle switch?
I attached it to a preexisting hole on the dash frame.

I thought this video was going to walk me through the setup. I’m 70 yo so, not so sharp on this stuff. Instructions aren’t very helpful
