Another enjoyable video! Thanks for taking the time to make and share it!

In so many years of FP enjoyment, Noodler's Dragon's Napalm is the only ink that's stayed always on my mind, and also has stayed in almost constant use, one way or the other.
It's a loud ink, that's what makes it fun, 'everything louder than everything else' and all that, and if you'd ever had it, it's hard to forget it.
Maybe you'll say,' Pah, I've got Apache Sunset, or Antietam, or Ancient Copper, or Diamine Pumpkin.' - No! - it's not the same.

I love "Dragon's Napalm" too. It's easy to spot in any of my notebooks and I use it when writing about whatever volcano live-feed is entrancing me at the moment! I use it in a Faber-Castell All-Black with a lovely broad nib. It reminds me of the night-time footage of the volcano in Iceland: bright orange and yellow on a blacker-than-black background. So many screen-shots!

I've also got 3 Bic Easy-Clics and bought one for my Mum. They have a lovely wet medium nib that makes even the driest of ink cartridges write nicely.

I'd really like to learn more about the Indian pens. They're different. I always like to see them. I had no idea that #30 nibs even existed. It sounds like something that you should keep within reach in case someone breaks in at night. It would be pretty embarrassing in prison if they found out a guy got knocked out by a giant pen...

Keep in mind, Pilot has its own numbering system. Their #30 is basically everybody else's #8.

miss these pens.of.the.month.vids: know you were busy with a house move but this is the vid I miss most if you were ever to get back in the saddle again - advertisers should pay you a fortune for these vids: I invariably see a pen, ink or accessory in these vids that I order!; those Pilots are difficult to resist, loving my latest acquisition which is a Pilot custom heritage 912 EF in black&silver which is now my go.to pen!:)

I think that about half the Esterbrook LJ pens out there have "Bell System Property." 😂
My "ink for the month" for correspondence is in a copper Esterbrook LJ. Great little vintage pens! (Using a 2048 to give that 18th century look to my Thanksgiving cards. 😉)

Thanks for showing us that lovely Esterbrook model J w Monteverde blue/black: both of the Monteverde inks shown put down a nice tight line, is that just down to the nibs in both pens or is this a feature of the ink?(highly desirable for someone with small handwriting!) - will definitely be looking out for one of those 2442 nibs:); also particularly liked your Pilot Custom 74 w music nib which is ideally paired imo w Asa-gao:)

Thanks. It's the nibs; there's nothing really super special about the Monteverde inks. They are nice and fairly inexpensive.

He keeps spelling Pelikan incorrectly. It's not 'Peliken'
