I had one, and I liked it a lot. In the end, the convenience of using my Decent DE1 caused me to second-guess the value of having the Sonic S7 take up valuable kitchen space, so I moved it on. If I didn't have a machine that heats up fully in just a few minutes, then I think the S7 would have been a more practical sulution.
I agree with you about the case. I would have thought I wouldn't use it but it's perfect for knowing you've got everything and it's altogether so great for travelling in your vehicle.
A great looking machine. It was too difficult to justify a full esspresso machine to my partner, but a simple lever machine was a nice compromise. This looks awesome.
I think it's a lovely object but I hate to say I value convenience of our bean-to-cup machine. I don't doubt it's something some people would love to have.
Lever machine with boiler does not cost 2 or 3 thousands... Argo from odyssey espresso does cost 1.1K$ only and does deliver great lever experience and espresso. Single drawback is delivery time as they do produce by batch of several hundreds every 6 months or so.
I said the higher end powered lever machines usually cost double, triple or more. Yeah you certainly can get lower cost lever machines, I don't know the Argo but La Pavoni Euruopicolla is a good example, the standard version is slightly less than the S7, in the UK at least. Cheers, Kev.
@@Coffee_Kev Correct. Just trying to pinpoint very capable lever machines with boiler + steam are on the market. La Pavoni is also a good example of relatively affordable lever with boiler but is showing its age with group head overheating after couple shoot. They may liaise with Odyssey to license their PID technology allowing a much better boiler temp control. Indeed I was looking at La Pavoni to complement my ECM Classika but will get next month a Cafelat Robot as I do make exclusively espresso. Cheers.
the pole that holds the brew chamber is alway bending during extraction, not sturdy enough, despite the look that suggests otherwise.... it's bothering me for longevity of the machine
To be fair it's no more of an issue for pre heating than most manual machines. I've reviewed supercop, video coming soon, if you don't want to pre-heat, that's one to look at.
It looks amazing and very stylish and I'm sure it makes delicious coffee but, at the end of the day, I'm rather lazy and would much rather have my coffee with the touch of a button! More convenient and consistent!!

What a unique concept! My favorites are the walnut handles and the colour combination. Beautiful!
that has to be the most unhinged travel case I've ever seen lol, certainly a vibe bringing that through TSA
It has hinges 😆. Yeah, you're not exactly traveling light with that.
@@Coffee_Kev more so for it having 'bomber' written on the side
I really like this idea, ideal for holidays and camping.
Absolutely love pressed coffee and this machine is stunning 🤩
This looks absolutely fabulous and would be such a treat, amazing!

Excellent bit of kit.
A great looking machine. It was too difficult to justify a full esspresso machine to my partner, but a simple lever machine was a nice compromise. This looks awesome.

Ooh, that wooden handle is gorgeous!

The quality looks amazing.
Great review. It looks so slick!
Looks beautifully made! I’d save a few quid by ditching the travel case though!

I must get One! Coffee in the Best Way Possible ☕
A thing of beauty 😍
I think it's a lovely object but I hate to say I value convenience of our bean-to-cup machine. I don't doubt it's something some people would love to have.
Why drag this up a hill, use a flask

Very interesting, but I still think the travel case seems a bit OTT
looks great
Nice, would be an upgrade on my aeropress ... but not quite as portable!
Looks Good 👍🏻
Nice design.
Does the speed of pulling the lever change the taste?
Interesting idea
Was going for a automatic but now not so sure
Love my coffee
Is there really any need for the travel case? I guess some people will buy it just for that!
Looks nice
Awesome!
Any plans to review the Kazak Rota 2?
I'd love this for my husband.
Very nice!
What a case!
Awesome content
Beautiful machine. Not sure about the name though.
Great solution to poor hotel coffee - but a hefty investment
Very cool.
Nice!
Awesome
MHW? makes hot water?
1100 AUD in Australia😐
I like coffee
8:34 "this poo tastes nothing like chocolate!"
Looks good but doesn't justify the £600 price tag.
Great
👍
All those years pulling pints paying dividends
👏👏👏👏
😎
Wow
that's a lot of effort for a cup of coffee
"Pull the other one"😅
☕️
Get it farted on.

Too much effort vs normal machines.
And you have to preheat before each shot. What a pain in the ass. Hard pass.
you should be preheating any machine
@@7531monkey lolol! Not like this thing 😂
