received my iphone 15 pro max about 3 weeks ago, it’s not disappointed a single bit.
My fave feature of the 15 Pros has to be the lighter titanium frame. My kids bought the mid year green 13 Pro, and I've always disliked the weight of their phone. Having held the new Pro phones in my local Apple Store, colour me impressed. I'll definitely be upgrading from my XS to a 15 Pro next year, ... just haven't decided which one. I'll also be using a MagSafe grip and bumper. I want to show off whatever colour I end up getting - no full cases for me.

One thing I've noticed since getting one a few days ago is that the device keyboard feels awful from the last iPhone I remember. It's like the display is poorly calibrated or something. From what I've seen, it's something which started happening once they released iOS 17 that the keyboard started feeling really sluggish. I hope they fix that soon because that's one of the main things people use their device for.
Love the smiley next to the time! How did you do that?
I only charge my promax to 80% and I have music playing all day on Bluetooth or on speaker, I am taking photos a lot of the day, I even use my GPS a lot and I’m playing around on my phone a lot when I’m not doing other things. By the end of the day, even though I only charge to 80%, by the end of the day my battery is still at around 20 to 30%. This phone has amazing battery life.
That's not very impressive you don't do heavy things on it if you play call of duty with it you need to charge it twice

Good review. I upgraded from the 14 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max. Initially I loved the fact that I could now use it without a case and benefit from the rounded edges. But for me, the fixes haven’t made the phone get less hot. It gets too hot and I ended up having to use a case because of that. Other than that, I’m very happy with it. I do use the 5x zoom a lot, and the screen is just incredible. I sold my 14 Pro Max for $900, so the cost difference wasn’t too bad.

How does it get hot? What is it doing to get so too hot to hold? Playing games?
The battery life is superb on my 15 Pro Max. The cameras are great. Sounds terrific with music. I still think it’s quite heavy, but okay. I don’t like the dynamic island at all as it impedes the view on my work projects with no way around and I don’t at all useful. Other than this great phone!
Hopefully they make the Dynamic Island removable by user in the 16 onwards.
I have the iPhone 15 Plus and the battery last way past 24 hrs! I charged it Saturday and here we are Monday morning still has 25%🙌🏼❤️

13:25 for that you don't really need any improvements on the iphone but just make an uptade with split screen. So you can still have it in the iphone 15.
I plan on keeping this phone for the next 3 years minimum. Coming from the regular iPhone 12, this is my first pro max phone and I’m so satisfied with the overall improvements.
Thays how I feel about my 14 Pro max after upgrading form the 12. I'm keeping my 14PM for at least another 3 years. These phones are great. I should have waited for the 15PM like you did. But in still happy with the 14PM

Just got the 15 pro max coming from a 12 pro and the biggest thing for me is the battery. It’s so much better. Love 120hz

Holding its monetary value is a real plus for the IPhone pro-max series 📱📱📱👍 (if kept in pristine condition)
I wish the ultra wide, telephoto and front camera would match the quality of the main camera. Thats the only bad part of the camera now. I never want to use the ultra wide in low light because the aperture is so much smaller.

it's been a month since i bought the 14 pro max and bro i still can't get used to the dynamic island. it still bothers me . i still do think the 13 pro max looks cleaner

Gonna be honest: the first two weeks of having my 15 Pro Max, battery life was hot dog shit. Now, it’s unreal how good it is. I can get through almost two days of moderate usage. I can get through one day of heavy usage, no problem. Most days, if I were to forget to put it on the charger at night, I am not concerned at all getting through another day. The phone is quick, and I’ve never had heating issues. Display is bright, vivid, and virtually perfect. StandBy mode is awesome. My favorite iPhone so far.
Totally satisfied how the entire system works but the only reason I'm not upgrading is that the dynamic island and the camera placements are aesthetically unpleasing to me, at least.
Just got my new IP 15 Pro Max today, it’s the biggest upgrade for me from IP XS Max to 15 Pro Max ❤️❤️

what gig did your iphone 15pro max have?
I’m having to get a new phone to transfer stuff to iPhone I have no laptop. And I have iPhone 13 or max 1tb sized and when it got to 600 gb capacity the battery started to heat and it’s battery capacity gone down since I took to Apple Store but they wouldn’t check without clearing it all to diagnose it and I couldn’t lose all my stuff I can’t get back or back up I won’t waste money on iCloud for the amount I have. Point is I got it expecting great battery after reviews and it was terrible so should I expect this to mess up half way into it’s storage space?
Remember u said the iPhone 15 heating system got down? When I charge my iPhone 13 with fast charging it doesn't heat plus when I used it for uber it only heated a little bit
Mine just came in 3 days ago 😍I got the pro max in black titanium and coming from the 12 pro, am enjoying the battery life, am a huge gamer, and I can confidently tell you the battery is tough

I have mine optimized to 80 percent an it lasts all day and there is still like 15-20 percent left if I used the 100 percent charges would last even longer

2 months with 100% battery health and 50 cycle count
Update: going 3 months with 68 cycles. 100% battery health
2 months for me to, but with 66 cycles count and the battery health is…..still 100% 😁

I can do 75% or 85% and still at 100% battery health

I have the iPhone 14 Pro and it has poor battery life, screen scrolling problems and some other bugs and random overheating. Should I trade in to the the 15 Pro Max or keep the 14 Pro and instead get a cheaper 13 Pro from eBay or parallel importer store, or wait for the 16 Pro?

I prefer the small body since I’ve had a 13 Pro before I traded it in to the 14 Pro I have right now. The only max phone I’ve had was the 12PM.
Therefore, should I make the comeback to a 15PM or wait for the 16P next year?
Since according to the rumors, the regular 16p will have the same 5x zoom lens capability and a new stacked battery technology which will make better battery life.

Hi, I would like to ask how many hours of screen time do you get with one charge to 100%? Cause in my case, my phone just gets around 5/6 hours of screen time, hence I have to charge it every night, and I’m not even a heavy user. 😢

I like the heavy 14 pro max, it just feels more robust.
Sometimes when i press on the screen to wake the phone the battery percentage drops. A few days ago it dropped 3 percent after it was locked for 5 minutes.
Anything to be worried about?
System learning about your use. My iP14 Pro Max did the same thing. After 1 month, everything’s okay.

I don’t get overheating. It gets warm over a long period of game play though

You have to use a lot of words to describe anything new with Apple or attributes you haven t already taken about. Where with the s24 you will have a list of new features and improvements that will give creators a ton of material

I tried the iPhone 15 Pro Max for one week and returned it. Still with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. For how much it costs, I expected the best. It's not. The outdated design was also a factor. I'm waiting for the iPhone 16 Pro Max/Ultra now.
I can’t fault you if you’re looking to maximize your investment I agree the design is similar, a bigger screen and bigger improvements to the next iPhone should make it more worthwhile to you :)

@@asianstud7tbh so hasn’t samsung. Both have done just iterative updates for the past few years. Phones are already great and there isn’t much left to improve. And design wise too, both samsung and apple have found one that defines their identity. I don’t think that is going to change soon.

Wireless charging really ruins an iPhone battery. I always charge iPhones with a Samsung 25 watt cable and adapter and with the 13 pro max I still had a 100% battery after 14 months and with the 14 pro max after 12 months it still had a 100% battery. ..

Things have gotten better for me first couple of weeks were very buyers remorse on my 13PM->15PM but I think some updates have brought it to at least getting through the day above 30%
