    YIPPIE more miniature hobbyist! I must say though, me and my brother were wondering when you’d start doing some more 40K oriented videos again or some more kitbashes or sprue/spruegoo builds like you used to! It would be cool to see again as theirs dozens of painting channels but YOU are the pioneer of sprue scratch building.

      Not that I don’t like your painting though, it’s so refreshing to watch someone who doesn’t have 10 years of experience be just as lost as I am at the start and then watch them get better and better!

    Looks fantastic!! I might try the pure white because doing the white dry brush isn’t working well for me. Thanks for that! What kind of palette do you have running around your mat?

      Thats so good to hear, dipping inks/contrast and speedpaints can make us all paint well 🙂

    Whats your opinion on comparing green stuff paints to army painter 2.0 Speed paints

    • @MiniatureHobbyist
      @MiniatureHobbyist  7 місяців тому +1

      Well at first I didnt like the dipping inks as they are wetter and flow more but now I am used to not putting too much on my brush at a time I prefer them because they do flow more lol, they seem to have more contrast as they pool more in the recesses, that and they are so much cheaper lol 🙂

    Definitely prefer the black the dry white at the start the ink is a interesting way to paint may try at some point

    You know this reminds me of the campaign I played in years ago where we faced tiamat and her servants. My sister called the five-headed dragon queen "she of five party hats".

    for content, i just find your "nice, quick, simpel, easy paint job" as you say, videos to be good, i am almost done with sword and socery board games minis thanks to inspiration from your videos(to use for TTRPG too).
    Though showing of new usefull tips/equipmemt never hurts either, while it is dangerous for me to watch those. Since i end up trying dipping inks and like em, but also picked of green world stuff silicon matt. ><
    Seeing yiou having to buy all those books to play DnD, i am so glad my group changed over to pathfinder 2e, since all rules/gameplay content are free(and having a rather high release cadence of content)
    (Also after OGL stuff, i don´t even wanna support WOTC again!)
    Nice to see Solgood stuff, getting nice minis stl, while money going to support people, is a win win.
    Now time for more painting and minis building (2 kingdom death boxes arriived today)

      Yup, quick, simple and easy is what I love, things dont need to be perfect and almost anything is better than a grey mini, must admit I am looking at buying the AD&D books from the 80's, just wish I had kept all mine and the old box sets of basic D&D, very nostalgic for me 🙂
