Offshore Cruising Tenders - Drop-down wheels

Russ talks us through one of our most frequently ordered accessory for the OC Tender - the wheels.
We order our wheels from TrueKit, a fellow New Zealand company who have designed and produced what we believe to be one of the most user-friendly systems on the market.
The installation is customized for our tenders, and we think it makes an excellent pairing.

Are these wheels really wide enough when you have a 8-15hp four stroke?
Not sure what’s heavier your boat or a highfield 290 but they aren’t wide enough for that with a fuel tank on hard packed sand. Needs more tyre to stop it digging into the sand. Would be awesome if someone truly develops a beaching wheel for a tender that has an outboard etc

Agree 100%, there are no 100% wheels available on the market at the moment. But these are working very well with our tenders and if you cannot use them as the beach is soft sand, then they are light enough to drag it up the beach.
