@@xandykkaudy8252 thats not disrespectful. That's a major part of his life. They were together when she passed away. Can't help that she's famous. Also, Aaliyah never claimed anyone - back in the 90s it was normal for young celebs to play coy on their love lives because their images were controlled. Just like we didn't know until a decade later that Wanya from Boys to Men and Brandy were in a relationship in the 90s. That's like telling someone to get over their mom dying if they later had a stepmom. Thats someone's loved one, and you have to be reminded of their death annually. Its hard to get over that.

Right after the death, I believe Jay Z and Rkelly worked together on the Best of Both Worlds and Damon was slowly being ostracized. This more than likely fueled Damon’s demise. This was in 2002. When Jay Z moved onto becoming President of Def Jam, Damon was almost thrown out on the street if he didn’t push for Kanye, Dipset and all the other smaller acts. I’m sure Damon Dash has a lot on a lot of folks, but he still has mouths to feed so he cant look like a complete clown. On another note, I’m surprised Rachel Roy’s clothing line didn’t go further. I still have a beautiful blazer from her line from like 10 years ago. It’s pretty much built Ford tough and still in great shape. No pilling and no shedding.

I learned some new things after this interview...i remember it was very sad to hear about her passing years ago. And...i know I often hear people ask God why? But the more I hear on these details, all I hear is warning..through her gut feeling; through her noticing something looked off about the plane; how another plane was being offered but someone else took it...there were signs all along pointing about that plane that I know God was sending, like He often does for us all in other situations. We must have an ear to hear...God be trying to wreck our plans before our plans wreck us🙏🏽. And I say this in the most loving way, please listen to that still small voice; we don't see everything that happens spiritually, but God be talking..we just have to be willing to lay our will aside and listen. Did Aaliyah know Lenny offered her a jet, why was Hype allowed to take it? I recall hearing that Aaliyah and her crew left a day early because she pressured to rush and meet up with Dame. Her death never sat well with me, it was so preventable. From the incompetent pilot to this new revelation. That music video was mostly a green screen.
