Thank for uploading a vlog instead of a fashion video. I has such a busy day my husband and I had to chop down a tree (long story). It was fun but then tidying up after was so hard. While I was doing that I said I hope Josie uploads a vlog. I find them so comforting on a Sunday evening.

Hello Josie. I can't believe Dexy actually moved over on the couch when you asked him to, you should watch that again. It is very amusing. What a smart little guy. I also have a beautiful gold watch from my mother (she bought when she was in her 20's) that you have to wind up every day. I do not wear it often, mostly when I go out somewhere nice. Although, now that I am thinking about it. I should wear it more often. Why save it for best. I love your clothing "fridge" what a great idea. So many times I have only worn clothing for a short time, not dirty enough for the dry cleaners, so I just air them out in my three season porch for a few days. But popping them into the clothing fridge would be so much better. Thank you, Josie.

Always test your yeast first before adding your flour ingredients, add the yeast to the warmed water, with the sugar, cover and let stand for about 5 minutes, if it becomes frothy your yeast is good. Always keep your yeast in a container in the freezer and only for a year then pitch it. I have a gardening question. I love tulips in pots, I know to plant in fall, however do you put them in your greenhouse over winter or where to store over winter???, I have tried tulips in pots several times and they never come up, I live in Iowa, USA, it gets very cold here in winter. Your garden is so lovely!!

I much prefer the English summers (rainy days an all) to the Summers here in Atlanta, GA. We also had glorious weather here until yesterday! From now on it will be hot and humid until late September. Most garden flowers will be scorched from the heat. Except for begonias. Enjoy your summer. (I once did for 8 years.)
