- The practices for Diastasis Recti has to be very light simple ones to begin with and slowly increased in intensity. Always take your gyneacologist's consent before the practice. The practices are:
- Abdominal breathing
- Kati Utttanasana
- Toe Tapping (variation of eka pada merudandasana)
- Supta Bhadrasana
- Cat Pose
- Pranayama
I am doing this since 3 weeks and i could see significant changes on my body. Thank you for helping me diagnose and rectify the problem.
I am also diagnosed with same, and what about the tummy will it also get better if diastatis heel.
I also diagnosed with hernia, so which exercise should be avoided.
How many sets you did per day or how much time u spend per day on this routine

How many repetitions must be done for 10 weeks postpartum of normal delivery?
Also, pls do a video on what asanas and pranayama to avoid during healing DR gap. Sometimes i experience lower back pain after doing yoga session.
Lower back pain should be addressed with practices specific to that.
Can i do these exercises along with suryanamaskara?! Does suryanamaskara worsen Diastasis recti as it includes stretching??

You need to specifically do back strengthening practices in Yoga

Could you pls suggest the progression exercises for healing DR? Im doing these exercises daily and my DR gap has closed significantly from 5 fingers to 3 fingers. Its been more than an year of practicing this daily & now im not seeing much changes. What should i do to see progress in my result?

Hi, it would take minimum two to three months of practice to show the results well. Practice min 30 minutes a day.
Did this yoga early morning.. A little pain is feeling on lower belly especially when lying on sides and sitting.. Is that ok?

Hi, please do sufficient rest prescribed for the operation. After that along with the practice, if you have good diet and sleep, it will show good results 👍

Six is severe, so takes time. Take proper care and do the practices regularly.
Any practice is better to be done with 2.5 hours gap from the previous meal.

You should avoid sleeping, there must be an underlying cause for this. Try finding that out and act on it. Take care.
