My friends and I have multiple hundreds of hours in Armello on Steam, it's easily my favorite digital board game ever made and I am so excited to see it brought to tabletop. Especially as some of the expansion "heroes" reward you for pvp and self-corruption, which are really interesting mechanics. We've been playing it for years and I've never left it thinking other than, "that was fun I can't wait to try it again." In terms of traveling, there are items in the game that allow you to move faster, allies that allow you to move faster, and magic spells that can straight up teleport you across the map in order to reach your quests, but the beautiful thing is that you don't actually NEED (at least in the digital version of the game) to complete quests to win.
What do you mean? The same way you record and sync any audio or video. Shoot them separately and then sync them in post-production. (You can use a visual or audio cue to make this easier for you)
just going to reiterate what @jusatin said! You can actually set your laptop to screen record with audio so it'd pick up your voice there, then you sync that with the main video in post!
Interesting, thanks for your video! I've been hesitating A LOT with Veiled Fate, as i worry there isnt enough substance in the game behind the bluff element. On the other hand, Stationfall as suggested by others looks too uninviting for my group with its wall of icons and text for ky group of light gamers, for whom Veiled Fate seems better suited. Tough choice! Gameplay looks fun though, if players dont expect high strategy. I'm skipping heavy euros until next month, as Feudum is being reprinted fornits 7th anniversary, and I've wanted that one for so long!
That's what I've been thinking and, at least in Canada, Station fall is cheaper for more content and replayability... Only thin holding me back from buying it is that I don't know how I would teach it to my group
I'm also feeling iresponsible, I'm really trying to cut back and backing Veiled Fate + also considering botb Mythwind Expansion and Wroth. Mythwind will probably happen, though we only have 1 play since it arrived. I also Backed Tokyo Highway, with Rainbow City. Will be backing Bitewing's Jazz Trilogy, so the year is not looking good, so far.
I love veiled fate and also am backing tribunal. It’s a great game and works with players who don’t play games often and like you said it’s great for larger groups.
I think I'm done backing games unless something comes along that I just can't pass up. I have enough games, and it's just too long to tie up money. Especially when you can often get it at retail cheaper and often sooner than all backers receive it.
Hey I think you need to watch some of the Veiled Fate vids to get a better understanding of it as you said each Demi god has its own win conditions which it doesn’t. One player can play as a celestial in this expansion that has their own win condition. Have the base game and it is great fun at any player count. If you played moonrakers and then got the expansions then you will understand where this expansion is coming from. IV Games seems to create must use expansions as they always seem to make a great game better. Back it and you won’t regret it 🐺 🌙
Don't you find the enemies for Requiem to be lacking? There are some humanoids, a bunch of birds, Death, and some birdmen. That's it! Anything resembling a boss is locked behind an expansion that is not free. I remind you this is for the base game that's a whopping $160! Really doesn't seem worth it.
It's LMS--they made Nova Aetas: Renaissance (A top 5 ever made board game). Because it's fantasy, looks like a good tile placement adventure game with dice combat so it was in insta-back for myself. It looks like what Tainted Grail should have been.
it is super pricey i agree! but im gonna have to take another look at the monsters, so far, i have blind faith in what they're doing but will decide by the end of the campaign 🤣 thanks for the tip!
Hahaha I was about to click end so I could write irresponsible but surprisingly there was more content. 😂😂😂😂 I am glad I didn't miss out. That would have been very. Irresponsible of me to click end to fast.😂😂😂😂
I was interested in Armello but read the first version was bad and this looks the same. Most on this look not the exciting, u missed Wroth that one looks like it might be good.

A lot of great choices! I'm also backing Wroth. The art looks amazing!
right?! it's either a love or hate with the art for that from what i've seen 🤣
Great to see you back.. nice recommendations, might back up V Fate after this. Looking forward to TBT reveal of VAST: Crystal cavers 🤓
OHH nice choice!! i really wanna try vast someday-definitely on my must play list!
Hi, I like to ask, how do you record and sync your Mac's screen with the camera shooting youself?
Was it pre or post recording method?
Thank you.

@@jusatin Thank you.
@@TimChuon Thank you. I saw your video was perfectly synced, so I was wondering if there was some other method or function used.
Interesting, thanks for your video!

Isn't Stationfall already doing what you want from Veiled Fate? And has way more exciting things going on?
That's what I've been saying lol. Everyone already forgot about station fall 🤷🏽.
well you just cost my wallet. stationfall looks great!
That's what I've been thinking and, at least in Canada, Station fall is cheaper for more content and replayability... Only thin holding me back from buying it is that I don't know how I would teach it to my group
OH thank you for the tip about this! it's my first time hearing about stationfall, but i do love the theme in VF

you have some really really awesome games on this list! the jazz trilogy oh gosh-this looks awesome too! Where to push the wallet to this month 🤣
I love veiled fate and also am backing tribunal. It’s a great game and works with players who don’t play games often and like you said it’s great for larger groups.
oh that's reassuring!! glad to hear you enjoyed the base game, and it sounds like it'd be such a good fit for higher player counts!

Irresponsible... me too, me too. And I love that you went from 5 to 7 in the last seconds of the video!
HAHA! i am that easily swayed 🥲

Ohhhh shoot this makes way more sense, thanks so much for the help Liam! Def gonna back this! 🥳🥳🥳
Galactic Cruise is so much fun! I cant wait to have it on my shelf!
oh im glad you got to try it-that's reassuring!!
@@TimChuon by the way, your videos are fantastic! I look forward to watching them whenever they come up in my youtube feed!
Excited to see some black rose wars content!
ITS COMIN'
Is there a weird background noise, or am i losing it? (Otherwise, great video, thank you)
There’s a song but maybe it was too low for ambient noise! 🤣 thanks for watching!
I'm also intrigued with Armello. Strangely, the app didn't really compel me even though it has board game elements.
hopefully tabletop is better-it seems pretty cool!

Wroth is the first kickstarter game I’ve backed. Veiled fate looks amazing, but the price point is too high.
oh no way! welcome to the rabbit hole yeah VF is pretty pricey with ALL the upgrades for sure

HAHA! so glad you stuck around till the super super end Mark! Love the way you integrated this! 😂😂
Backing Galactic Cruise!
heck yes!! nice choice

Irresponsible, but understandable. You do you Tim!
hahahah thank you so much for watching till the end!
Its been irresponsible month 🐺
it's that time
It's cool you're finding games you're interested in, but none of these grabbed me. I did back Wroth.
Black rose wars was my worst backed game. These guys are complete clowns
whattya mean?
Irresponsible
What are you talking about?
@@MrHiekkis hahaha just reaching the end of the video no worries!! 🤣
