When I was singing (I majored in voice in college) I would sing what ever and the next few hours I would get a huge pain for several hours. I couldn't even stand up just like you describe. You are getting ready to go. It is nerves You just named it a couple of the busiest days of the year. Once in a great while it still happens , but years apart but always over stress as I am a custom tailor and you know stress is stress. Mostly being a perfectionist. One thing I know , you can't control it. I wish you well Use the motrin And move on. From what I see of you , you are great and you need help. I had my custom tailor shop for 15 years and I had 12 people working for me . We did custom suits shirts wedding dresses etc. It makes me smile --I carried 2,000 fabrics a perk for you. Just keep going This is the best part of your life. Enjoy the ride You deserve it.
Hi Theresa....I'm so happy to see you this evening !! I can't wait for your Nashville floss tube...you have the best interviews and I love seeing all of the designer's rooms. Have fun and enjoy...and I hope your gall bladder behaves!! God Bless
Ok, now I'm gonna stalk you to make sure you're NOT in the hospital! When I didn't see your flosstubes, I told myself you were very busy or hanging out with Zero... lol 😁. But, I was in denial. Soooooo Theresa, get familiar with my name... Linda Biggerstaff. Yep, just like it sounds. I'm spending my children's inheritance, sure hope they like framed samplers, because I just started five January 1st! Please take care of yourself, you are most definitely a beloved needleworker. You are as unique as they come. You make me laugh, you make me 'oooh and ahaaa'. You and Jen are a matched pair. They don't come any better. Hit that Nashville road and have fun! BTW, love, love your interviews AND 10 things. LB
Great to hear from you again! So sorry about your trip to the ER! Have a great time at market and please take us along with you as you can! Don’t forget to take care of yourself!
Thanks for the quick update. Love stitching with you, particularly when you say you're all over the place. That's how stitchers talk when they get together, right? Have fun at Nashville and take good care of yourself! Hugs from Virginia.
Teresa, thank for the market update and for talking about your plans for market. Sorry about you hospital stay, gallbladders can be miserable, best thing I did was get mine removed. Hope you make it thru market without ant issues. Have a wonderful market experience and we will see you on the next stitchy tube.
So glad your doing better. A year ago tomorrow I had my gall bladder removed. Went to the emergency room for a fever and pain and they took it out. Mine was an out patient visit, so you don't have to worry about not getting any sleep. :) I came home and slept the entire day! Can't wait to see your market special. Good luck with the store!
I’m so sorry about your gallbladder! I spent a few nights on my floor in pain before getting it removed. The good news is, once gone you feel better in a lot of ways! I hope you make it through market pain free and can’t wait to see your stuff!
Always love seeing a new video from you pop up in my feed! Super exciting about the possibility of having a physical shop - once that happens, I will need to plan a trip to come visit lol. CANNOT WAIT to see your market releases!!
HI, Theresa! Sorry to hear about your gall bladder trouble. Praying for relief until you can get it fixed up. So good to see you! Love your videos and it is really informative to get a behind the scenes look/perspective of things . As a customer , it is really good to hear and I am sure you help a lot of other shop owners as you share information and reasons behind doing something or not doing it. It is good for us to understand and appreciate what goes into something so (seemingly to me) small a thing as putting up a DMC color match for fabric. I never thought of those complications before. Very helpful and I appreciate the explanations and perspective, as I said. Hope you have a GREAT market. WIshing you every success
I think because Market is coming as well as retreat season so I thought you were just busy. I'm sure others were thinking the same thing. I'm glad to see you on the mind and feeling better. I love how frank you are about your business and how things work. I WISH I lived closer, I'd come work for you in a millisecond! Can't wait to see your releases!
Hi Teresa! Market sounds Fabulous! I wish you lots of luck. Also, I had my gall bladder removed. Once you get a gall bladder attack, it will happen again and more frequently until it's removed. A low fat diet does help with the frequency. Do take care. ❤
I am so sorry you are having gall bladder problems! I hope you will have it removed as soon after market as you can. Gall Bladders can erupt and cause serious problems...I know because it happened to my father. On a happier note, I am so excited about the prospect of you opening a shop in Hattiesburg. I will be delighted to only have to drive 90 miles from Meridian to what will become my first LNS. Counting the days until i can become one of the first customers in your store. So excited!!!
The commute would kill me and eat up all pay but I would love to work at your shop. My husband will not entertain any idea of moving to Mississippi. Can't wait to visit one day. Good luck with market. I had hall bladder trouble in my teens and twenties, avoid spicy and greasy foods to keep from having an attack. You will feel better once it's removed if it's the problem.
I love your videos, it really feels like we are just hanging and stitching and chatting. I feel like you are my stitch friend because my friends don't stitch and they don't get it.
Thank you for your video. I was wondering where you were, I needed my Teresa fix. And we are friends, at least that's how I feel. So glad you are feeling better, that was scary. Make sure you take care of that once Market is done. Have a wonderful market and have fun! Take care! By the way, I have already seen how far I am (Chicago suburb 750 mi) from Mississippi, because I know I will want to see your shop once it's a go.)
Hello Teresa...so good to see you...praying that all goes well for market regarding your health...love all your plans with Jenny Bean and your older patterns...new store and kitties...I have seen so much of Graham’s lovely fabric...best wishes for the best market ever❤️❤️
Always a real treat when you have any new video up! Avoid greasy foods to help prevent another flair up of your gall bladder. I am so looking forward to seeing you in real life at the Georgia Sampler Guild Retreat the end of March. I really hope I don't go all fan girl silly when we do meet. You are right these floss tube videos make me feel like we are friends already, but sadly you don't get to know me. I have thought about doing a video but I am so slow stitching anything because I am always drawn to huge projects. Have fun at market, sell all the things, come home with all the goodies you want and drive safe. Hugs! Darlene in Georgia
So glad you are feeling OK after your scare and hospital "visit"! I wish I had half your energy. Always enjoy your videos and look forward to your Market reports. Have a wonderful time & have fun while in Nashville.
It has been awhile since I have watched one of your videos. I have missed you! Sometimes life just gets in the way of the fun things we want to do! Good luck with your health! And I certainly hope it doesn’t affect Market! Listening to some other flosstubers over the past six months or so, you are the floss tube that all the other flosstubers watch and refer to! Enjoy market ... and life!
I look forward to seeing your newest!!! So much fabric! I have ordered a lot of fabric from you and have never had cat hair on anything!! 😊 I hope you don’t have the pain attacks at market or while driving. Bad gallbladders run on my husband’s side of the family. I wish I lived near you! Can’t wait to see what you do to a whole store of your own!!! ✨💖✨
Love seeing your little girl picture and you look exactly the same. Have a fabulous time at Market. Looking forward to your interviews. I would love to see a floss tube video with you and Jen together again!!!
Gallbladder...YIKES! I experienced that excruciating pain about 10 years ago at 3am one morning and had to go to the emergency room. They did nothing and told me to see my doctor, which I did ASAP. Had an ultrasound and my gallbladder was the size of a small football!! They were shocked it didn't burst. Had to be on antibiotics for 2 weeks to try to shrink it enough so it could be removed. It's a terrible pain! I can empathize with you. Just a word to the wise...be VERY careful of fat intake in your diet. At the time of my attack...I was on the Atkins diet, which you ate a lot of bacon, etc. (very similar to this Keto diet...not good!) and it was too much for my gall bladder to handle. Be careful! Stay well and enjoy Market. Can't wait to see what's coming out. I don't know where everyone is getting the "previews" from. Hmmmm...I'm always late to the party.
Sorry about your hospital stay, but I’m glad you’re feeling better. I, too, assumed you were busy with market prep! I really love all of Brenda’s designs. I haven’t seen anything from Blackbird? Can’t wait to see what you bring home!! Have fun and safe travels!
So good to see you!! I'm happy for you that your stay in the hospital was very short!! Maybe keep track of what you're eating and see if a certain food makes your gallbladder hurt. Some of my friends have had the same problem. The pains are no joke!! I'm excited to see all of your new designs for market!! BG's new designs are amazing! I just want everything all of you designers do! Lol I just need to win the lottery! I hope you leave market having sold out of everything you brought and only have to fill your van up with new stuff!!♥️♥️♥️😊
Glad you're getting to the bottom of the issue. Small and hopefully helpful suggestion-go get a bottle of papaya enzymes from Kroger or Publix...costs around $5 in the vitamin section. Put it on your kitchen table and chew up about 5 after every meal. They help immensely with digestion (kind of like adding soap to a greasy pan, it breaks up the grease) and don't interfere with other medications plus they taste good! It's just papaya in pill form. When I met my husband he lived on Pepcid and all kinds of stomach pills. I prefer not living on pills and had been using these for eons especially after pizza or pasta nights. Anyhow, we've had them at the table for a long time and I'll just pour out 5 after supper and push them his way...I can't remember the last time we bought Pepcid...all his stomach issues are gone..oh...and we were both fair, fat and 40 when we met. We're still fair. Best of luck at Nashville and hugs to you.
As soon as you began talking about your symptoms (back pain, stomach pain, Lamaze breathing) I knew it was your gall bladder. I had mine out when I was 25 years old. The pain always went away before the ER doctors saw me and I was repeatedly misdiagnosed. Then I had my last attack and I thought I was going to die. Turns out my gall bladder was ready to burst. Had to have emergency surgery. I hope you are able to get yours removed soon so you don't have to go through that. I hope you have a great time at market!!
Speaking as someone who has ordered fabric from a lot of shops and dyers I don't even worry about matching DMC colors. I almost always use hand dyed threads so I really don't think in DMC. I love the grungy fabrics you carry.
Lucky you my Hunny said as he is listening in the background while I’m watching your “quickie vlog”. Jack(Hunny) was in the hospital for a week...and his numbers were nearly 2000 and he was MISERABLE. Now, full disclosure, for many years he would have kidney stone attacks(we thought) They could not figure out what was causing his pain after nothing substantial food wise during that weeks stay in the hospital. Jack too does not drink or smoke BUT I will tell you what I came to discover, gravy and heavy spice trigger things so I stay away from those two things in my meal prep. Also, Jack now drinks a gallon of fluids a day...EVERY DAY. He stays away from Mountain Dew pop and is an ice tea and water drinker pretty much now. So if I were to share with anyone who is or has experienced this excruciating pain-filled trauma it would be to drink clear fluids...ALOT every day and watch the gravies, sauces and heavy spices. One other thing I eliminated in his diet is junk food only because there is a lot of grease in the junk foods he always snacked on. Jack has not had an episode in almost a year and his biggest struggle is when he deviates from the menus I fix when he craves something junkie. NowTheresa, I’m not telling you what to do, I am NOT a medical professional, I just know first hand the experience you shared and don’t want you to suffer unnecessarily. I hope this will at least give you something to mull over in your journey to staying healthy. I so enjoy your vlogs and losing Leanne over at Lost in Floss has left me a bit saddened knowing I will never be enlightened and entertained with her humor so I want you to keep well so I can enjoy you and of course all you share with us...and the fur babies too! Wishing you every success at Nashville Market and also as you continue to build your business. I can’t wait for your vlog after this trip because you share sooo much and I just love all your storytelling:). Oh..I guess I should tell you that Hunny is 71 and his first “pancreatic/kidney stone” episode was at the age of 58. I know you are nowhere close in age but the pain is no less painful regardless of age. Safe travels as you pack up the “bus”and await your post trip vlog. Blessings dear girl!!!:):):)
Good to see you again. I've been missing your videos, I just figured you were busy getting ready for market. So sorry you were feeling bad. I will be sending you good vibes in hope that you will feel great while at market, and no more pain attacks! 🙂
Oh Theresa! I just ASSUMED you were super busy getting ready for market and didn’t want to bug you. I’m so sorry you were in such pain. I hope it’s all fine now and magically cured. Have a great time at Market seeing old friends and new designs. Oh how I’d love to come help! Take moments here and there for yourself. Hope to see you back in a couple of weeks. Sally in Northern California 😁
Happy you are feeling better... as someone who suffered with gall bladder attacks for at least 10 years before I had mine removed the only advice I can give is avoid greasy spicy foods... my worst attacks were triggered by a fish sandwich from McDonalds (hey my kids were little and loved the playgrounds) and a greasy pasta dish... clean eating helped me... but inevitably I'd eat something that would set it off... I found most attacks started late at night/a bit after midnight... I'd be miserable for hours and swear I'd go the the doctor the next day ... but then I'd get a little sleep and wake up and feel great... gall bladder problems are not uncommon in woman... don't take offense but a nurse told me the criteria was usually fair, forty, fat and female... I ticked all those boxes ... I will say when I finally got it removed it was a relief...no more late night attacks... take care of yourself... I'm looking forward to seeing what you bring back from market... the sneak peeks I've seen on IG are sooooo pretty... thanks for the update... take care!!
Gallbladder pain is the worst! Had mine out in 2000. I’m so sorry you’re going through that and you landed in the hospital. I’m so excited for market. Wishing you much success. And a store? Oh my, how exciting. ❤️
So good to see you again, Theresa. I'm sorry that you had such a health scare-not fun! I kept checking my you tube list daily to see if you had posted anything, and now I know why you hadn't. I look forward to each of your videos! Take care and pace yourself! Pam Miller
I hope you feel better soon! I love this time of year when everyone starts talking about Nashville! It’s so exciting! I wish I could take your Flosstube class.
Happy margarita day. Market time we leave designers alone lol they’re frantic as it is. I had a stone block my gall bladder, it moved, then it relogged the might before leaving canada. Lordy. Soon as i got to denver it moved. Month later relodged didnt move then had surgery. They removed it thru my belly button lol. Hope yours all done. Excited to see new market things. Love the parlour series.thanks for visiting. Patti
Hello from Oklahoma! Wishing you good health and all the best at Market! Thank you for sharing the "inside news" of our stitching community. Love your videos!
So excited for you with the news about your shop and looking forward to attending a retreat there! Always enjoy your behind-the-scenes info. Wishing you the best with your upcoming surgery!
Sorry to hear about your Gall Bladder issues. They are extremely painful. For myself it generally was foods that triggered my attacks. I hope you suffer no more with them. Thank you for sharing and we’ll see you in the next one!
I thought I was dying when I had the first attack following fish and chips eaten by the shore watching the sunset. I had no fat in my diet until they thing was taken out. I hope market is a great success for you. Love from a very wet England!
Nice video as always. Love the lead in photo of you as a girl. Some people change over the years but you are definitely still you! Looking forward to the wonderful items you will be bringing back from market. I don’t have a local shop here in my area of Georgia, so rely on all of you to share.
oh no! I kept checking for video, then checked the shop page and was sure you were busy with market prep! Glad to hear you are doing well and hope they get to the bottom of things soon. I would so move to Hattiesburg and work for you...but my grandchildren make that unlikely. I can't imagine leaving them so here I stay. I do travel through, though and would love to stop in to look at all the things. Both of my LNSs have closed now. Best wishes and safe travels.
I have been missing your videos and thought you were just busy with market. So sorry you had to go to the hospital!! Hopefully they figure it out soon and get you feeling 100%. I hope market is very successful for you and I can't wait to hear about your experience there again. No doubt your new store will be successful once you get it all worked out and up and running. Safe travels to Nashville!
Oh wow. My DH had pancreatitis from gallstones dropping down and blocking the bile and pancreatic duct. It was awful. I hope you get it all figured out soon. Looking forward to meeting you in the fall at the Midwest retreat. 😊😊😊♥️♥️♥️.
Ah, I went through the gallbladder/pancreatitis thing with my husband. During Market, only eat low...low...low fat. Or no fat, if you can manage. And you should be just fine. When you return, go back to your normal diet. Your gallbladder will yelp, if it’s malfunctioning. My husband’s was only removed because of pancreatitis. All gallbladder tests were normal, but in surgery his gallbladder was covered in adhesions from previous attacks. Not to worry you...but low/no fat is your best friend right now. Hopefully, it was just cramping, but that pancreatic thing sounds familiar. Sending you positive vibes! ❤️
Stay well friend! Sorry to hear you were in the hospital! Can’t wait to see your Market releases and wish you much success in sales. Look forward to a video from Nashville. Safe travels Teresa.
I’m glad you’re doing okay, I do hope you’re well when you’re gone for awhile. If you need surgery don’t wait too long and most can be done outpatient with little recovery time. So many exciting things going on with you. Have a great time at Market!!
I'm so sorry you have been having health issues and no one checked on you. I did wonder where you were, but just thought you were busy with market stuff. Gall bladder issues can be very painful. Don't mess around because you don't want it to burst. Just know there are people thinking about you even though we don't email or leave a comment. :o)
Sorry to hear you've been sick and ended up in the hospital. Hopefully your gallbladder behaves until after market so you don't have anymore issues especially while you're there or driving. I just figured you were busy getting ready for market and didn't have time to make a video. I'm glad you're not as stressed this year leading up to market and I can't wait to see your video with your releases. Take care and I look forward to seeing and hearing about market when you return home.
I always appreciate you explaining why you do things or don’t do things. Hope your gall bladder doesn’t give you any trouble. Looking forward to seeing your new releases.
Great to see you. I’m sure you’re very busy. You were a cutie as a child. Sounds like mine. Yes had it taken out with no issues. Just watch your diet. Have a great market.
So sorry to hear you have been having gallbladder problems. The pain ranks right up there with labor pain. The best thing was finally getting the ok from my doctor to have mine removed. Good luck with market! I always love to see your behind the scenes and see what you take.
So glad you are ok! Was watching every day for a video from you and so glad to see you. Love the items you carry and I consider you my LNS as I do not have one close to where I live. Thanks for your up-dating video. Enjoy your trip to market and will be excited to see what you bring back.
OMG...hope you get through Market 100% ok. Have a wonderful wonderful time!!! Every Sunday I work a bit more on Saviour's Praise!! It makes me happy. You are the best!!
Happy to hear you are better ditto others on the diet. I wish you much success and fun in Nashville and look forward to your preview. Your future plans sound so exciting !!!
Yep, the gallbladder! Pain worse than birthing my child, bodily fluids ..... well you get the picture and know the pain. I had to wait a long time before they operated, so chicken, shrimp and certain vegetables were acceptable to my fb. Wishing you the very best. You are such a great person Teresa. I really wish I lived closer I would fill out an application to work at your new store. Look forward to your last minute Nash flash! Take good care 😘❤️ Rebecca Have fun with Suzy!
Sending prayers that you don’t have anything else happen before leaving for market! I think designers who have had shops are always the most organized... because you’ve learned how to balance the creativity with the practical business side:-) See you soon... Shelly
Oh my. Gallbladder pain is no fun. Mine finally gave up. Surgery was a breeze, outpatient for me, just tired for about 3 or 4 days. Eat very bland until you get home. Praying for you. Have a blast at market.
Enjoyed your show while I stitched on A Saviour’s Praise. You are not allowed to get sick again you have market coming up. I wait to see new items and the new fabrics. Stay healthy.
Teresa! You are always missed. I think folks just assumed you were busy with market prep. Glad to know you’re okay, and hoping you don’t have any more gall bladder attacks before you can have it removed. I had mine out after a few attacks in 2017, so I know how uncomfortable they are. Fortunately most removals are laparoscopic now and easier to recover from. Hope that is true for you.
My super best wishes for a great time in Nashville. Sending condolences to you and your gallbladder. I remember thinking I must be dying when mine went bad.
Sorry to hear you were in the hospital - gallbladder issues are no fun! Thought I was having a heart attack when it happened to me! Can’t wait to see your new designs!
I hope the docs will be able to give you some definitive answers re: your pain. I’m so excited for Market, and I’m not even going! Hope you can interview Misty Pursel of Luminous Fiber Arts!
Sorry to hear that you aren’t feeling well Been there with the gallbladder Hang in there have a wonderful time at market. As always, I enjoy the time I spend watching your videos
So happy to see your video. A friend and i were talking today ad that we hadnt seen you post on insta since december! Glad you are doing well and looking forward to market! I enjoyed hearing more about the back end of prepping for the show!
I just assumed you were swamped with Nashville prep. I am sorry to hear that was not the case😢 Thanks for explaining about the revamping of your charts, I have been stalking your website for Ann Dale Big & Beautiful to come back in stock so I am guessing you are wanting to clean up that chart too. Wow you weren’t kidding Teresa Kogut rocked it!
I had emergency gall bladder removal last year because the stones were trapped in my bile duct. I didn’t realize the random attacks I’d been having were my gallbladder. It does hurt like H E Double Hockey Sticks and it would come on suddenly and then would quit just as suddenly. Hope you find out soon if that’s what you have. Best of luck at Market!

You are so sweet. Good luck at market! Looking forward to the market video.😀 Sorry to hear about your health problems, take care of yourself.😊
Have a fabulous Market and I look forward to seeing your interviews because you do an awesome job of interviewing. Safe travels, Lynn
I have brand new charts that for some reason I end up with 2 in my cart instead of 1😢 glad to kow about your charity!
I'm eating pretty blandly, no grease, no spice. :) - T
Good to see you again! Looking forward to all the new and need full things!💗
I am so glad to hear that you are fine. Really missed you. Prayers are with you.
Market would be a fun! Enjoy. Wish I could stitch faster! Moda fabrics are great.. and prim is best.
How exciting a shop would be. I would love one.
I always appreciate you explaining why you do things or don’t do things. Hope your gall bladder doesn’t give you any trouble. Looking forward to seeing your new releases.
🤗You have to think of yourself Theresa and you can only do so much. Here’s to a great market!
Great to see you. I’m sure you’re very busy. You were a cutie as a child. Sounds like mine. Yes had it taken out with no issues. Just watch your diet. Have a great market.
YOU ARE AWESOME ! Looking forward to your market videos and reports. Stay well .... 😊
Take care Theresa. You are beloved in this stitchy world. :-) Hope all will be well at market!
Have a wonderful, successful market. Listening to all that you are doing is making me tired. 😊
Glad you are feeling better. I will be at market so I will be by to say hello. Sending blessings your way.🌻
Always love your videos! Thanks for always being so upbeat and fun-even about your gallbladder. Take care and I’ll be praying all goes well for you !🤗
Sending prayers that you don’t have anything else happen before leaving for market! I think designers who have had shops are always the most organized... because you’ve learned how to balance the creativity with the practical business side:-) See you soon... Shelly
Glad your feeling better. Hope you have a great time in Nashville, can’t wait to see what goodies you bring to the shop!!
Oh my. Gallbladder pain is no fun. Mine finally gave up. Surgery was a breeze, outpatient for me, just tired for about 3 or 4 days. Eat very bland until you get home. Praying for you. Have a blast at market.
Wishing you luck - with market and the gallbladder! Thanks for showing me that ham rock was still hanging with you. 💜💜💜 - Connie
Love your flosstube! Best one on Utube...and love how you help cats/dogs. Hope you get to feeling better and take care.
Sorry to hear of your hospital stay but glad you are well. Sounds like you are in a good place and very organized for Market. Be safe and have fun!
Enjoyed your show while I stitched on A Saviour’s Praise. You are not allowed to get sick again you have market coming up. I wait to see new items and the new fabrics. Stay healthy.
Glad you are ok. Hope your gall bladder is behaving. Praying for a great market.
I hope your heath issues get resolved without too much pain or problems. Good luck at market and your future store plans.
Take care of yourself....gall bladder pain is the WORSE!! Safe travels to market and hope you have a wonderful time and have super success. Be well!!
Looking forward to seeing your beautiful new designs.
My super best wishes for a great time in Nashville. Sending condolences to you and your gallbladder. I remember thinking I must be dying when mine went bad.
So glad you are ok. I always enjoy your videos so much. I hope you have great success at market and have a wonderful time.
Safe travels to market and back!!! I can’t wait to hear all about it. Take care of you!!!!
Good luck and hopeful your gallbladder behaves.
Good luck at Market. Love your videos your a great inspiration. Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
Glad you are feeling better. Glad to see you back....
Good luck at Market! Stay healthy, drive safely and take care!
Yes, I have had my gallbladder removed. The pain is tough! Good luck Teresa!!
Thank you so much for the love you put into this community. Best of luck at market!

Sorry to hear that you aren’t feeling well
Been there with the gallbladder
Hang in there have a wonderful time at market.
I am sorry to hear that was not the case😢
Thanks for explaining about the revamping of your charts, I have been stalking your website for Ann Dale Big & Beautiful to come back in stock so I am guessing you are wanting to clean up that chart too.
