I take so much for granted even though I try to be grateful for my health, family, etc. Thank you for being you and emphasizing those little things, too. I am grateful you take time to share your stitching knowledge, talent and inspirations with all of us. I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas, and I hope you get the rest you need!

I enjoyed this total program. Although I have discovered Floss tube this year, I have stitched since 70s. What fun.
The Silver Needle is fabulous....I could stay there for a long time and I appreciate sharing.
My favorite Christmas has to be cutout sugar cookies to decorate. My mother and I would cut out cookies and bake several days. Then we made different colored icing, gather edible decorative materials a holiday guests.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. 🤩 Another awesome flosstube. Enjoyed the tour of the Silver Needle, esp. the interview with Lindy. You expressed genuine sentiments during the last segment of your flosstube--a testament to your big heart. ❤❤❤

So grateful for you, Theresa. You make me laugh, think and buy stuff... My order from you is on its way and I’m super stoked about the Marjorie Massey freebie as I love swans. Thank you for your efforts to get the Uffindell sisters charts reprinted. I know Nicola thought long and hard about it. She made a great point about those who bought it as an investment and that is on them not her...as investments are usually risky and they were never intended as a way to “cash in.” My favorite holiday treats are ice creams we used to be able to buy at a local creamery, that is no longer here, so we make our own and I love them. One rounded ball/scoop of vanilla ice cream, rolled in coconut and little royal icing holly leaves with a couple of berries and a small white birthday candle stuck on top. So sweet when lit and brought to the table. I’ve been making them for over fifty years now and totally look forward to them each year. Just finished Jenny Bean’s Christmas Sampler. I LOVE it even though I made about a million mistakes. It is cute regardless. Lastly, when taking a Dickens class in college, I learned that Victorians loved to attend autopsies. They would have viewing rooms for families and courting couples to go watch...pretty horrifying to us today but quite the spectacle for them. Hope to see you again soon! Sally in Northern California 😁

Hi, Theresa! I love your videos and so neat to see the cats moving around... I am glad your shop is doing well and am thankful for all you contribute! It was neat to see the Silver needle through your camera and have a peek into the class you had there. That is the closest needlework store to me and I drive there 2-3 times per year. Have been visiting Lindy for about 18 years. My favorite Christmas cookies are a special Sugar cookie recipe I have. YUMMY!

The second one of The Sampler Company models over one I stitched that one 🙂 when I lived in Missouri. Was a lot of hours that I wanted to make again for myself. LOL it’s still kitted waiting to be done.

It has been a tradition to make Spritz cookies on the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving! This year my 4 year old grandson was in the hospital with a swollen belly & thighs that they couldn't figure out the cause! He is doing fine now - they have chalked it up to a virus! But I really missed my daughters, granddaughters, and sometimes my grandsons making the cookies! Spritz cookies are pressed out in a cookie press & then decorated with sprinkles, red hots, & colored sugar. I missed the camaraderie of working together, laughing, etc! It just isn't the same when you make the cookies by yourself! Have a very Merry Christmas & take time off to recharge for 2020!

We love `Traffic lights` which has green, yellow & pink (for the red) Eskimo lollies and a crunchy fudge around as our Christmas treat. I usually use a music stand to hold my pattern but I need a new one. We loved seeing the squirrels when we visited with our friends. We have had pet opossum`s when our children where small. Once they grew they went out in the forest again as they really were not tame. Don`t see too many round here now. I use the ultra punch but mine is put away at the moment. Happy holidays and I hope some stitching time for you. I hope to stitch some as well.

Squirrels! I made a garden gnome this year for outside (all over Pinterest where you wire evergreens to a tomato cage turned upside down, add mittens, nose and a hat. I make the pretzel, Rolo, pecan half treats. They are so easy but I would eat them all of the time if I didn't restrict their making to Christmas. Another favorite is butterscotch dipped pretzels. Ummmmm good! I have a couple of 24/7 indoor cats and one 24/7 indoor dog so the word 'log' here has different images brought to mind when mentioned, and not anything that sounds appetizing. Lolol & Ewwwww too! I have a couple of regular possum visitors too! They come right up to my door to say hello to my indoor cats and make sure Miss. U (under) S (steps) K ( kitty) cleans her supper plate. Wonderful Video, Theresa! Wow! That Silver Needle is some store!!! It has been almost 28 years since I was in a LNS. We used to have a great one and I used to spend my Friday afternoons in there, sitting on the floor with a pile of patterns and books, just browsing through and then choosing half a dozen to buy. Usually with DMC ( that was the only floss they sold, and Walmart always was short a skein or two for a full kit up). Ahhhhh, those were the days! I've heard great things about the Silver Needle and I see here that they're all truth. Going on 4 am here so I'll be done. Merry Christmas and Best Stitches 😀🎄❤️❤️❤️❤️ Kitty Kenickie sends high paws to Zero! 😺🐾

We make a recipe from the 1950's that we call "TV Snacks". It is a lot like Chex Mix, but also has Cheerio's, Kix, Mixed Nuts, and Pretzels. It also has oil, butter, celery salt and garlic. It is definitely not good for us but we only eat it once a year. It is traditional in our house.

My favorite Christmas cookie is Gingerbread cookies. Someone in my family used to make those peanut butter cookies you are talking about. Love them too. Every Christmas I make Gingerbread cookies, Sugar cookies -cut out shapes and frosted, and Pecan Crescents. We have a tradition here where I mostly use the traditional Christmas cookie cutter shapes but then cut out some non Christmas shapes like sheep, rabbits, and airplanes just for fun. Weird food - did you ever see the vampire blood popsicles!

I love Scandinavian cookies. If I had to choose only one it would probably be the Thumb print cookies, Betty Crocker cookbook. I think my Betty Crocker Cookbook is from about the 50’s or 60’s. They are probably the same in current cookbooks. I use our home made crabapple jelly instead of current jelly. Still have Christmas baking to complete. Merry Christmas!

Baaa, from the thousands of ewes (here in New Zealand) lol .. What an amazing shop & the owner seems so lovely, thank-you for the tour .. I bet one could go in every day of the week and still find things they had missed seeing before! My favourite treat at Christmas would have to be gingerbread cookies and ambrosia salad like my mum used to make .. Though I watched her make it every year I have spent the last 20 trying to recreate it to taste exactly like hers did and last year was the closest by far - even though I know I added things she certainly didn't, like chopped up snickers bars :p

I don’t comment often but I wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoy watching you. You are truly an inspiration and so positive. Thank you for reminding us all to be thankful for the little things. I’d love for LOTF to one day be available for all of us to stitch her. Limited editions are a struggle to support because maybe someone doesn’t have the money at the time to claim one or later they decide they’ve fallen in love with the chart & can no longer get it without paying 100s of dollars for one.

Wonderful to see you again. 😊 I would say Ginger Snaps are my favorite because after all the sweet stuff they are just kind of a palate cleanser. Only way I can think to describe it. Going to try Gingerbread biscotti this year as something new.

We have the crescent cookies also which is my favourite. My aunt makes them from a German recipe but they are with crushed almonds and have sugar sprinkled on top. Merry Christmas.

Favorite Christmas cookie is pecan balls, which I think are the same as Russian tea cakes, just a less glamorous name. One of the few cookies that my mom made and a favorite of my son's, so special memories. Hope your New Year is off to a good start.

My favorite treat for Christmas is
La bûche de Noël. It is the Yule log .
A chocolate cake with chocolate whipped cream infuse in Tia Maria.
    It’s a French Canadian tradition

My favorite Christmas cookie is Spritz. I prefer them undecorated because I love the flavor. Thanks for the Silver Needle tour. I hope to go there someday. I attended the Houston Quilt Festival in November, and out of the 1000+ booths that were there, I made a beeline to their booth first of all.

    Thumbprint cookies!
Loved the ending of your video, you voiced our everyday blessings so well. I too like to think back and be thankful for just the every day, nothing special kind of days.

My absolute favorite cookie is one my Grandmother would make. It was a sugar cookie cut into a circle with a biscuit cutter and a raisin mix was put on half folded over and sealed with the tines of a fork, a sprinkle of sugar on top before baking. YUM Grandmas’s raisin filled cookies. 😋❤️

Theresa, your videos are the best-I enjoy everyone. This one was particularly interesting and fun. I love the part about the mummy unwrapping and throwing the turkey in the garbage. I laughed so hard with that one! I don't usually make cookies at Christmas, but one of my favorite treats that I make are caramel and chocolate dipped granny smith apples with chopped pecans. I'm drooling now just thinking about them! I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Pam Miller
