    My favourite mythologic Saga!
    If there were 2 things I would have changed with the film Troy 2004, they would be:
    1) Have Aeneas stand out more, be more of the supporting character and cousin not a random guy Paris hands his sword to, saving more Trojans as it said in the legend...plus being played by Ben Affleck, the first actor that comes to my mind.
    2) Paris getting killed.
    Added bonus: Paris getting killed

    My theory (aka i made this up) is that Vesta probably come down eventually to make peace with Hera and Aeneas. And Aeneas, as a way to respect Vesta, would create the first generation of Vesta virgins and the descendants of Troy, the Romans, would continue this tradition, which also ties into how Rome worships Vesta in a much greater capacity than the Greeks do with Vesta's counterpart.

      We actually know the real origin of the Vestals. The first two Vestals were appointed by Numa Pompilius who was the second king of Rome

      Vesta's counter part Hestia is one of the major Gods in the Greek pantheon.So that you undersrtand what this means every single city had a round temple(that's hestia's temple) with the never ending fire of Hestia in it as well as the co called pretanion where meals where served freely to foreingners and distinguised citizens.EVERY single city.
      So that you again understand the place that the barbarins know as the Oracle of Delphi was the complex of temples where Appolon and Hestia ruled.Thats how important and venerated Hestia was.Hestia's temple still stands in Delphi.Apolon's doesnt.

      As Greek i will tell you that you have some photos point, it's a logical hypothesis. Vesta was also important in Greece but yes other gods was taking all the glory.

    She commanded the winds bc she is goddess of wind. There are the personified four cardinal winds and there are wind nymphs, sky nymphs and cloud nymphs. Hera is goddess of the wind, air, sky, marriage, motherhood, childbirth, queenship and heaven.

    Nice video but it is not Troy VS Greece. Both sides was Greeks, gathered from all the areas to support the two opposite city's. Argos and Troy

      No it's not, they have a similar culture but are different. My ancestors are Dardanian DNA test showed that I have 2-3% Greek and the area in Greece where it comes from is the where the fable city of Tenea was discovered recently which is where the Trojan captives were taken by Agamemnon. The rest of my DNA results show either where Aeneas traveled or DarDanus travel

    • @archernk
      @archernk Місяць тому +1

      @stephendirusso2701 i am sorry but you confuse something, unfortunately history and modern DNA results they are not compatible together. When they say greeks they (the DNA test) refer to the modern Greeks comparing with the other population around the borders and they don't examine the history or culture reference.

    • @archernk
      @archernk Місяць тому +1

      I would be interested to see the reference on dardanian DNA on paper because i believe is not exist. It's something you say based on your personal desires. Anyway i am sure from your answer that not only you don't know historical what you say but i suspect you don't really interesting about that.

    Odysseus could have just gone on the opposite side of Charybdis and avoided Scylla. Why was he not that smart to think of that?
