What a wild Xterra! That sound is amazingly cool. Did you also swap out the rear axle from the Titan? Why wasn't the X ever available from the factory with that engine??
I dont have the titan rear axle. And yeah sounds great!
@@Mall_Crawling_X From what I read, they put the same rear axle on the older version of the Pathfinder that they put on the Titan, but it also fits the Xterra. The regular axle seems to hold up fine on your X.
@@anthonycolbourne4206 It is the same axle in the titan (dana 44) if its the OR/pro4x version its just shorter in length.

What's the ballpark of a swap like this cost? I'm thinking of doing something for my wifes tired 2001 Frontier Crew Cab with 341k+ on it, owned since new...
The 05+ frontier, Xterra, pathfinder are the only vehicles that are nearly plug & play with this swap. Dropping a titan engine in an older Nissan truck will be as over complicated and gnarly as swapping any other make/model engine in any other unmatching vehicle.
I agree with the other guy. And id add that the second gen xterras/whatever gen of frontier it was from 05 and up have wayyyy bigger engine bays. Alot easier to fit bigger engines into
