Looks good now, but unless you seal it with some sort of UV protectant clear coat like they have from the factory, that won't last a year. Once you do it once, you'll be doing it over and over and over again... That's the problem with headlight restoration. It is temporary at best.
This is how a PRO does it. A guy who wants to make sure they look as good as a pair you get brand new out of the Box. Great job man!
Thank you mate! It means a lot 😊
If you do not varnish, how long does the transparency of the headlights last?
Can you send me link for all kit i need to buy for this job to be done i don't have any tools
Could you list all the things you used in the vid. I really need to fix up my lights.
Dry sand 400,600,800
Wet sand 1000,1500,2000,3000
Polish with microfibre pad and then a finishing compound😃
Dont forget to protect them afterwards
@@xprayforapugx851 Thanks. What do you use to protect them?
@@thousandthson regular ceramic coating works fine, but clearcoat is the best

Realmente ficou show de bola, mas da muito trabalho né, parabéns pelo lindo trabalho!!!
Thank you very much. Have a nice day ☀️
7 sanding steps? Just buy a 3M heavy duty restoration kit and get the same results in three steps!! Get the job done in half the time!!!😂🙄🤔🇬🇧👍
Yeah, this guy lost me after he went through all those different steps and then didn't bother to put protective anything on after the fact.
Seriously. 3 sanding steps max. 600, 800, 1200, or similar. You can polish from there in a single step, or at most 2.
Fantastic Results! But a lot of work.
Thank you!
Too much work. Especially for a PT cruiser. 😅
