Although I hate knowing how old I'm getting, I am so glad I was able to see Megadeth through nearly every line up. I've seen the horrible heroin afflicted shows, the inebriated drunk shows, the most technical and perfect shows, and they were all perfect because they were Megadeth shows.
Damn I wish there was more of these kinds of videos of him playing blues. don't get me wrong I love Megadeth, but seeing him play the blues is like having your cake and eating it too.
That's why his leads are greatly unique, cos he infuses feelings that makes his guitar snarl, moan, groan, yell, squeal, transcend onto heavy greatness.
Dave's got blues down as much as metal. Listen to the beginning of "dont turn your back on me" from the collider album. Thanks for this sweet upload, cheers \m/

Bad Omen oh they most certainly do.. It’s more to do with how bands tour now.. Bills have more artists which means your sets are shorter.. Dave and Megadeth clearly think you’d rather see the songs played than them just fucking about.. I saw them play a 45 minute set and they played everything right from 1 to another and Dave didn’t even talk just so they could get another song into the set.
@@brandonchurch2094 Yea, Dave really struggles since 2009-2010 tour. Seems to lose his stamina quickly in concert. Even though TWNAH line up isnt considered as classic, they still did some great jams during that album tour. Now their concert is like formality, play the songs and leave. Dave stage banter back in the day is what makes him even cooler.

Dave needs to record a blues album.
Nope. He's not SRV.

I don't own any srv cds.
I'm more of a Jeff Young guy.

Dave Mustaine been listening to Jeff Healey a lot;) Well done. Need a blues album from him.

Dave just remembered he was a huge Led Zeppelin fan, so he became Jimmy Page for a couple of minutes.
And they say dave always plays satanic solos
Satanic solos ahahahhs

Marty Friedman is actually a pretty good blues player as well! But he kinda needs to chill out on the speed of his blues playing lol 😆
