These cots are super comfortable. The sleeping tends to slip and move quite a bit. We put a yoga mat in between the pad and the cot and helps it from moving!
Using your link, Amazon shows the width of this cot to be 25.59 inches wide, not 30 inches wide. I’m only in to 2 1/2 minutes of your video-perhaps you’ll measure it. Anyway, if you didn’t would you please measure the width? I’m considering a memory foam mattress to use with it (and for car camping) and the mattress is 30 inches wide. Thank you for your help!
@@dannymcneal thanks, I’ll check my link - there are two different sizes of cots. There is both a 25” and 30” cot. Mine is the 30” but some folks are fine with the 25” - they come with a pad (included but thin) I like the 3” pad, very comfortable!
Hello again! I went and re-checked the link and it's the correct link - however, you're right Amazon's description page has item dimensions as 25.59 x 5.51 x 37.4 inches. I think their page is messed up or at least confusing because the "Deluxe Cot" is supposed to be 30' wide. It even says "Big and Tall" so I think if you ordered the $124 cot - it should be the bigger one. (I have a feeling that Coleman has discontinued the smaller size or something) Very weird! BTW, the picture is of the Deluxe model! if you look in the ratings section and ask others the size it will come up in there too. I submitted a report to Amazon and let them know of the problem as well. Thanks again.

Watching your video as I am interested in one of these for use in a van for camping trips. When you go to hang it up on the wall what would be the option of drilling out the lower pin on the center leg so it would be able to pivot and lay flat against the bed and then just have a couple of small bolts you could install when you set the bed back up on the floor to sleep on? I have not bought one of these yest but just looking at the design of the cots center leg attachment in your video it does not look like it would be hard to modify to fold down. If I decide to buy one of these I would probably do a center leg modification the same way so I could put the cut on the drivers side wall myself. Just a suggestion.
That might work - I looked them over again (in my garage right now) they have two pins at the top of each side on the center bar. Maybe you could just remove one top pin on each side - then it might pivot on the lower pin? Good idea though 👍
@@HolidayForTwo42 Thats what I was thinking, remove the lower bolt on each side and when the leg pivoted on the factory top pin it would lay closer to the frame and then to use the cot just install 1 bolt through the original bracket and leg holes on each side.
