Superb, my 6 series has been doing this for ages, I've replaced multiple actuators and handles at the dealers, it's cost thousands and in the end I just got sick of it. I love the car however, IMO it's the best looking BMW - better than the new 8 series. Your video made a lot of sense, and realising how much the parts are, I'm going to find a place that will fix it based on the above advice. Thanks again.
@Dante I agree with you, it is a beautiful car. Actually the car in the video was mine, then I sold it to my friend. I prefer petrol cars and it was boring for me. But back to your problem. I recommend you that you do it all yourself, you will save a lot of money. If you don't mind losing the comfort access then just simply disconnect it. If you follow the steps in the video it will 100% solve your problem. However if you want to keep the comfort access, then buy a door handle from ebay, it's a lot cheaper there than elsewhere and get it colormatched to your car and install it yourself. This is what I would do if I were in your place.
