Hello, the ocean breeze brings the heat down, plus a pool or ocean to cool off, plus you get acclimated in a week. I have been at Tesoro the past 2 Aprils, the hottest month . It was fine . Also physically working on the lots in the April sun was ok. Although I did take a break from 2 to 3. The locals kept working away in the sun. On visa run , it is not far. About 3 hours north in Honduras. A beautiful drive through the mountain side . Lots of farms producing coffee and cigars along the way. Canyons , mountains, towns. A lovely drive . Somoto is an outstanding town with an amazing river tour which is 5 star . Actually, a great weekend trip to get your visa stamped .
Visa runs must be outside the CA4. Do not visa run to Honduras. Costa Rica is your nearesst choice, for a visa run. Fly to Belize, Mexico, Costa Rica, or Panama for a visa run. Of course you could 'do' a USA or Canada run, for same visa run. Costa Rica is about 3 or 4 hours, south drive from Tesoro area. (See/ask: Scott Alan Miller, in Leon for a fuller picture. Fantastic news for me! I am a 60 years old French Canadian Chef by trade (suffering from arthritis in Saskatchewan like an idiot) planing to do the move soon! I am not the perfect prospect for SJDS and/or the other touristic spots and not interested in the big cities especially not Managua but health care is my main concern! Around Leon might be a good option for me even if it is the hot weather spot (scares me a bit) and it is far away for visa run!...

I’m 74 in Saskatoon and can’t afford it so I’m going to Pannama 😊😊 love the heat no aches and pains
