Canoe: Old Town Discovery 119 (Pack)
Paddle: Bending Branches 280cm double
Hammock: Amok Draumr 5.0 with Amok Fly

Nicely Done, very enjoyable to watch
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it
Nice video. Just the right blend of naration, music and the sounds of nature. I'd like to see more camp site video. I.e. Set up, cooking, camp fire etc.
Thank you. A few others have asked me to do that also. I'll try to include more camp site scenes in the next ones
Excellent!!
Thank you. It is a beautiful place to see.
Thanks for posting! Just bought my first canoe - a Thompson Brothers Ranger model wood/canvas from the 1940s. I would love to do some canoe camping and plan to start next fall at Craig Lake. I think my canoe is too heavy for me to do long or multiple portages, so if I go to Algonquin, I’ll probably rent a lighter Kevlar canoe.
Congratulations on your first canoe. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I'm heading into Michigan UP this week to do some canoe camping and mountain biking. New videos will be coming out after that. Thanks for watching.
Based on the video, Yes, yes it is worth a trip to Craig Lake.
Excellent video my kind of camping. I wanted to see if you knew the approximate distance from campsites 3,4, & 5 on Craig Lake over to sites 13 & 14 on Crooked lake. The website shows trails going through that area. I am planning on a trip to Craig lake and wanted to see if you knew the distance to portage over to Crooked lake. I know the website gives the distance from where the parking area is located.
@Stephen House, the portage is almost exactly 1/2 mile. If you check out my Peshekee video, I use that portage and explore Crooked Lake. Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip there. It's amazing.
