Most people just starting their journey into gnosticism do not know that there are two sides of it, we could call one the luciferian gnosticism and the other the christian gnosticism.
Both lanes understand a common ground on the basis of the Demiurge and the real nature of creation, but the goal of our spirit's prescence here is where they split.
While luciferians strive for the embrace and co-management of the demiurgic creation, the christian branch looks for transcendence to the higher reality and the attemp to bring the demiurge to know the most high God.
Both wield power, and are not opposites of each other, they are rather adversaries, two view points feedbaking each other to better overcome the challenges each pose to the other.
Both look forward for all to finally become one, just the luciferian wants to achieve it through the Demiurge, while the christian looks to go directly to the One allmighty, helping the demiurge to achieve it also.
Both tasks begin and end with each universe iteration the demiurge dreams, the luciferian is always the same infinetely, but the christian looks to end the perpetual cycle for good.
