Warren's taste and commitment to rhythm and never OVERPLAYING is a hallmark of Ratt's music. His solos are so fluid and melodic. Like Mark Knopfler, he has so much more horsepower under the hood and he rarely floors his gas pedal .... he does it in little tasty flourishes. He knows that music isn't an olympic event and the most notes don't win. The BEST SONG wins...the best piece of MUSIC wins. Let Yngwie win the guitar hero awards...I will take Warren all day long. He clearly heard the parts of Ed's playing that weren't so obvious.....and made them his own.
I love a great rhythm over being a shredder practice day and night to sound like gilbert, yngwie, etc....they have their place.. but great songs and rhythm playing must be priority!! We learned that from Van Halen.... Warren outshines all those players by playing brilliantly as shown...
Pretty sure this is from the DVD that comes with the June 2010 issue of Young Guitar. At least I hope that is the case because I've just purchased an old copy for import and it wasn't exactly cheap!
you know where clip wheres hes jammin in some studio to "way cool jr" is from, seemed like it was recorded in 90s or 80s.. maybe some guitar lesson / live dvd?
Very good footage of him playing here. Wish you could have gotten closer up of his face but this is still pretty good!!! Where is he playing at here? I see all his guitars around. Could he possibly be at home???
Warren is a national treasure. Wish he would show ALL his riffs and solos so humanity can have it documented forever.
Demartini is like a rare Pokemon only the lucky one are able to capture him on video.
Criminal how this only has a couple of thousand views

Wow! Where did this footage come from?! I'd love to track it down and get an original copy as I'm a huge Demartini fan.
