I'm a recovering drug addict and I just got my master's and am spending the rest of my life doing social work for the elderly and dying as repentance for my chaotic destructive history. You may find the suffering lasts a while. And after a few months you may wonder if it will ever end. It does, but you don't notice the decrease in suffering in the beginning. It took about a year or so for me. And when I look back on the early time of that suffering I do realise that it was getting less early on but it's so overwhelming at the time it's difficult to see any improvement. When I felt strong again I was surprised at how long it actually took. And it doesn't end with fanfare, you just realise you have passed the hard points and while much of you may stay the same some essential parts have changed. From then on when similar situations arise, you will be far better able to deal with them. You may feel weak while you suffer. It's normal, but you will be way stronger once you have gone through the pain cloud
Do you have someone to help you through this? Talk to others; we ALL have our dark times and thoughts. I’m an older person (70); I know what i’m talking about. Find someone who understands. Continue searching for wise people who have podcasts you can listen to for comfort and inspiration. I wish you the best!❤

I know for a fact that if you remember anything of your dream, even if it's just one sentence to write it down. As soon as you remember it. The quicker you can write it down the more you will remember and the longer you wait, the more you will forget. When you write it down you dream more. I tested this theory because I read it in a book and it actually works. I have an entire dream book from when I was a kid. Your subconsciousness realizes that you're paying attention and you'll dream more.

recently came from vipassana and this insight by direct experience: pain and pleasure are not two things. It is literally the very SAME thing. The difference how it is experienced is only if we decide to accept whatever comes UNCONDITIONALLY. Then it is experienced as pleasure. If we try to resist it, it is experienced as pain. Super simple. Your pain CAN transform into a feeling of pleasure and bliss in an INSTANT. The only key is a complete surrender to feel it and be with it. And even if we think we are surrendering, our mind has many levels. We have to surrender on all levels. Like stop lying to ourselves not only about surface things, but all things all the way down to the core. We have to be very radical in this. Hard to master, that's why we are learning in this Life thing I guess. But your suffering can end with a blink of an eye, if you stop running, fighting it or manipulate it away. If you'll bravely face it in full vulnerability, it's over and you have won. Maybe it will help someone.

We are all here to work through and transcend our own suffering. The divine plan knows the truth…to which we all get a piece of the puzzle 🙏💙
I took a moment to really internalize what it is to be one of those stars you talk about. A couple notes:
1. A star must be willing to be fully seen exactly as it is. A star cannot hide anything about itself in a night sky. We can see a star across an entire galaxy and know exactly how big and dense it is, and what fuel it is burning.
2. The very nature of a star is to take nothing, and give everything. It provides stability to everything around it, breathing life and warmth in to whatever comes in to its orbit.
3. At the heart of every star is an unimaginable hell of pressure and incredible heat and suffering. To provide the light and heat a star produces requires an intimate depth of experience with pressure and a present hell. But even in that present hell, a star does nothing but give.
4. A star does not try to be anything. A star is authentically a star, just being what it is. Some are blue, some are red, some are white. But there is no effort required, no faking, no doing.

Ohh, this was an insightful mind meld, basically as titled: your shadow _is_ the gateway to your soul. A thought I had that I think is similar is that inner work seems to have a lot to do with the kneading out of inner contractions (conditioning, tightness in the body linked to emotions) with attention and care towards diffusion and integration (compassion, understanding, and re-orientation).

Some tips which been working for me to recoll my dreams was:
1. Falling asleep in different position then usually, like on the side or back sleeping
2. I always slept with my head facing north, now south
3. Thinking about dream as a movie, falling asleep watching this movie helped me to consciously see how my deams are formed... Wild experience.
4. There is mantra for remembering the deam... Raom Gaom... Very useful.

We’re conditioned to watch a movie a certain way - straight through to the end, with an active curiosity for the story and the ending. Maybe that’s why it works to help you remember your dreams. Thanks you for the tips. I’ll be trying them out.

I’m use to the intensity and that has become easier to swallow but following so many narratives can get overwhelming. A normal person will dream once on a blue moon and read into that one dream. I have 7 dreams a day and don’t know where to start or finish hahaha

I've been facing 'fear' In My dreams since I was very young...my methods have changed over the years, so has the forms of fear. So many vivid dreams.
I also came to the conclusion life was a game at age 14. Just an epiphany in a moment of clarity.
I spent my early childhood writing fantasy stories, playing guitar and sketching meaningful visual images . I'm a Loner, lover, mother,
26 years later, getting back to my art and spirit. So grateful to be able to listen in on these kinds of conversations today 🙏 as I had no one to share with or learn from in the 90's

Have you read Robert Johnson’s ‘Inner Work’? He teaches you how to interpret your dreams, and so much more. I can’t recommend it highly enough if you want to understand your dreams.
I've been recording my dreams since 2019. It's been such a wild ride. So much healing has occured. One thing that helped was getting in a safe enviornment... avoiding most people and isolating for a year or so... not everybody has that luxury I know. I'm thankful I did.
Another tip for helping dream recall is show your subconscious you have an interest in dreams by reading books about dreams. Reading with your eyes, not just watching UA-cam videos, listening to audiobooks or podcasts. Make an actual effort. I read these, each different in their own way the last one is the easiest read probably.

I’ve much illusion ( pain) and suffered major injuries (motorbike accident cervical and lumbar stenosis fifteen disk problems both hips impinged and shoulders pelvic damage yet I train six days a week I have awful mornings unstable for hours upon waking but nailing it an inch a day I’m healing it’s very tough mentally and but I keep going I truly believe the Mind connected heal the body ❤ t
Ive always thought that helping others is the most selfish thing you can do, and the most selfless at the same time. You, selfishly feel great about it and the person being helped does as well.
Is awesome to have sublime thoughts about a perfect world. (Perfect people doing and making perfect and healthy options and actions.) But when you are a knower of some and a master of none. What do you do when you see yourself inside that whirlwind? What to do? So often I feel like a walking contradiction. And I am f;"+$ 60 years old! Well. Awareness is half the battle right? However how about being gentle with yourself and less demanding and more permissive ,and above all, less judgemental. The flaws, are more manageable. There is not such a perfect world my friends. The older you get the more you'll see that those lofty thoughts were just illusions.

Ive been blessed with being able to remember most of my dreams and I am at a point where I can recognize the symbolism in my dreams... What has helped me the most is analizing the feeling the dream left me and then I start remembering, also you must be honest with your soul.
The Essentia Foundation has demonstrated fairly well that conscious is fundamental pretty well.

I had a really, vivid and wild dream last night after listening to this. I typed it out while my eyes were still blurry and fell back asleep. I had another dream where I was back at the same place and was trying to tell my friend that was in the dream about that first dream and how we danced, twirling around in the first dream, but the moment wasn’t right and I wasn’t able to tell her about it though I kept trying to recreate this blissful moment from the second dream. I woke up again and was astounded. The dream within a dream felt like such a gift. Then I fell back asleep and we were on our way to a music festival and the whole thing felt like a pilgrimage, I was walking along the path with this friend and I finally got to tell her about the first dream but without being able to recreate the dance, and kept getting interrupted by everything going on around us, and I wasn’t able to tell her about the second dream. You better believe I messaged her this morning about the whole thing!

Someone who I'd consider the embodiment of all the principles you guys are talking about with respect to artistry - Goldie (UK Metalheadz label magnate, dj, producer, graffiti artist, yoga proponent, etc.). Good drum and bass has been a life saver, as has been his label, and I had a particular album of his - Saturnz Return - that I for some reason slept on until four or five years ago when I was going through some of my worst times with work in my life (just about destroyed my health). Things like that, while they feel like fortuitous accidents, I have a hard time putting a denominator under them that makes them 'commonplace coincidences' - at least in the dead-literal materialist sense.

I've been fortunate to have a handful of these experiences on LSD which took me to realms of unimaginable suffering. But coming out on the other side made it utterly worthwhile. Thanks for reminding me of this. I need to keep carrying it with me when my ego thinks the going gets "tough" in life.

Michael, you should look at Jung’s retreat into his science persona as Personality 1 versus Personality 2, which knows the soul and the daimon. Not only does Personality 1 utilize science to take seriously the reality of the psyche, psychical reality, but also must do so in order for those steeped in the spirit of our time to hear from the other world from whence Personality 2 proceeds.
Kinglsey in Catafalque elucidates this well. Extremely well. That is a reading of Jung you cannot miss.

I’ve been listening to this mind meld since it was posted two days ago and I’m still just over halfway through. Not because I haven’t spent much time listening, but because I’ve been rewinding and listening to it several times, but in sections. So much to absorb and incorporate into my consciousness. I always dream and I’m always aware I’m dreaming. I also have astral projected since the age of 12. I can’t even close my eyes for more than 3 mins without going to dream land. I used to struggle to sleep and would stay up thinking all night but, now I never think. My mind just shuts off and I go. But there’s a huge difference between lucid dreaming and astral projection. I write down my dreams every morning and throughout the night. I’ve always been able to remember my dreams though since a child, because they’re so real.

I never subscribed faster to any other channel ever. I had a head start when both my parents were killed in an accident 40 years ago when I was10. I had to soul search on my own so much just to survive amd yes I am aware I'm quantumly entangled yet individualistic by default . I had to make up my cosmotheory as a kid which turns out to be everything 40 years later to be part of the great awakening amd thousands of years of philosophy and the phyche that I wonder where my downloads came from . Just glad to be on the same page and not 10 years old anymore . My diamon and my higher self had a very long time together 😂 to reach the same conclusions of some of the greats. Also have always been a lucid dreamer even when i was a very small child . All good . Im not afraid of my own death either . Ive died a thousand times just in this life ... I fully trust leaving my body . Ive known my soul a long time i trust it . I trust the realms beyond this prison matrix . Thats where i grew up thats where i am . Truly grateful. ❤

I can listen to you two for ever i love your instincts an light you bring to the world. I can for sure say there is a soul iv seen first hand the light through death and feel so alive knowing we are gold. If you want to see fast three days in meditation mind than eat the magic moosh room lay in the dark alone head to the north with silence mind just listen till hear time and space disappears you will see through the heart love trust the dweller within all is in right hemisphere the blob of eyes 👀 is collective of mankind will guide you the right way to see the soul is Gold. The one time i seen my soul was hard to believe i could fit into my tiny body because huge we are .
suffering is the dark light of God. Work of the spiritual warrior is like that of a marine: no man or woman left behind. An enlightened must continue to transmute dense energy to light until all humans are free, hence enlightenment is not a “set it and forget it” space, you just become more “eyes wide open” more effective worker in many ways, less fumbling through the dark, but still feels and bears the weight of the dark with all its unsettling emotions.❤❤❤

Just add this as an addendum to my email. From 1:03:00 - 1:09:50 is precisely why I have had such a hard time with Jungian notions, I swim in those waters Erik describes, and the mushroom experience is a great example; I feel I’m often the one looking back and saying, “hey, stop doing that!”
Additionally, that trope you often hear about Mormons getting their own planet, this is actually the esoteric interpretation meant by the church founder, but no one characterizes it this way. It is in fact that you individuate to such an eternally blissful state-space of consciousness that you become a star which then further guides and supports life-not so tropey. Furthermore we are connected to, and can at times visually see, our strand weaving to the distant star system supporting us.

When approaching a psychiatrist about the word of psych e ology and the word pshyche or soul he exclaimed in disdain that psychological had nothing to do with soul or psyche..continued by informing that they are trying to get rid of the term. Asked him what his influence was and he shared freaud.

We are part of a cosmic experiment, and we all have a very unique design and due to that we all have a unique way to become conscious and to add to the self-understanding of the cosmos via each one of us. I lived in the Peruvian Amazon for a while, and learned to understand the language of crickets. It was amazing to understand how they were so fascinating with every person in the small village. The crickets used to speak amongst themselves and produced a very unique sound for describing anyone passing by, it was amazing to realize that nature is aware of how unique were, and how each one of us represents a unique cosmic event to it. I have come to understand that the relationship with the unconscious is the same, the unconscious creates a very unique relationship with anyone that is willing to play with it. One thing is puzzling though, that it does seem the collective unconscious is not personal so it is interested in playing but one can not really create a friendship per se, maybe there is a familiarity, but dreams seem to show that the collective unconscious is always unattached.

This is true and similar to my experience but that connection also came in briefly as my invisible friend as a child. I actually didn't remember it until it returned but my older siblings remember me having one as a child. Long story short, life and experiences happened and I guess those led to me being ready to reconnected in my 40's. Way to crazy to get into, other than the fact that in my mid 50's the ride hasn't slowed down and I wouldn't change 1 second of it.
It's like going from 1st person to 3rd person in a form of awareness and changing one's whole perspective from perceiving from the outside inward as most of us have been taught, to the inside outward. The bond and integration is created through communicating in a shared experience and also learning along the way. Everything given and shown is to be put into play in order to allow for the next door to open through an experience. Many fall into a form of stagnation not utilizing what they have been given yet asking for more. It's like learning how to read and never picking up a book and asking what's next. The next experience is going to present itself in some aspect as a part of the gift of reading. Like learning a fireball spell and having to use it 100 times to level up to fireball level 2.
We can all sit here and share our experiences but those trying to replicate this though others and not having any of their own is like borrowed magic and it never last. The magic from within is forever. Like Glenda told Dorothy, "you've always had the power to go home, but you wouldn't have believed me if I told you and had to experience it for yourself." Dorothy now knows if she ever goes looking for her hearts desires she'll look no further than her own backyard (within).
The distractions of this world keep most of us from even going down this path, and most of those distractions we've created, enjoy and love but a distraction nevertheless. God (Higher-self, Universe, interpretation varies) makes himself available to everyone, but not everyone makes themselves available to God! The best time to be alive everybody, so remember to live in it and not just through it, good luck! 👍❤

I feel like I'm getting the downloads in living time because of my vibration. It feels like the non stop synchronicities everyday. I am aware of everything i could do better or should stop doing.
I also know that smoking marijuana affects your sleep but I've noticed my short-term memory is gone to some degree so I have to live in the present moment more than in the past. But as you said we go through this unfolding of nothing is that important once you see the big picture.

2:07:00 - This is my experience, just prompt the dream. It’s actually better if you don’t really prompt it but realize you want to. It overcomes the observer problem of it. Prompting the dream in this way is no different than asking the DMT Elf Machines to transform the scene on command.
