Awesome video! I watched it a couple times before tackling the project, and it took just under 2 hours (I took advantage of having the plenum off and replaced the 3rd cylinder injector), but your video made it possible. Cheers!
I did this install today. Thank you for the video but you left some steps out. The 4th bolt on the passenger side rear holding down the plenum, the vacuum tube on drivers side that is a real turd to get off, the plastic keepers holding the vacuume line on the drivers side, also might want to mention on the passenger side it's nearly impossible to get the plugs out without removing the battery box unless you have several short 3/8 extensions. This is a very tedious job. I'm not sure if I read it on your website or you mentioned it on this video but 2 hour job?? No way, maybe for experienced people. But for the rest of us plebs try an all day job.
Wait wait, slow down, you said upgrade... how is this an upgrade? what numbers are we comparing it with? stock? if so how do these differ from stock? So many questions from just watching the first 38 seconds.
It would have been nice if you mentioned any tricks to get at the passenger side packs. That is the real challenge that you failed to mention with all the brackets in the way.
You dont need to change the gaskets? I've heard you need to..I just changed my spark plugs and didnt change the gaskets but I'm a little worried that I should have? Can anyone respond to if its absolutely necessary to change the 6 upper gaskets for the plenum?
CJ Off-Road thank you for the response. My gaskets looked fine but I had called the stealership and they said you cannot reuse the gaskets no matter what. I don't think I'll change then unless I have to open it up again.
Hey everyone love the video I'm still new to being a jeep wrangler owner. My question it might be dumb if I get these do I still buy new spark plugs and spark plug wires? Express oil Said I need new spark plugs and wires said it cost me $1k to do I said nope. Thank you for the help
Nice vid - would be nice to show a comparison between stock and new coil packs to see how they improve over stock ones.
There’s a torque pattern & specs step that should be followed so that intake seats properly (and you don’t strip screws/holes or crack intake)
Thank you for the video. Your video helped me change the #6 coil and all 6 spark plugs. First time I ever tackled such a project. Much appreciated
Glad it helped

Great video. Thanks for showing me how to do it myself!

Took me about one hour while watching this video. How did it take you all day? What did you get stuck on?
Omg thank you for that one. Saved me $400👊
should I use a dielectric grease with the install

I’m being told I should replace the wires at the same time?

It's only necessary to change them if they look damaged or are tearing
CJ Off-Road thank you for the response. My gaskets looked fine but I had called the stealership and they said you cannot reuse the gaskets no matter what. I don't think I'll change then unless I have to open it up again.
Dont need to just did because I was there
@@fastcrxzc That why it is called the stealership :)

If I’m in front of the jeep looking at the engine, what side is cylinder number 3 one or what side are even numbers and odd numbers? Thanks!
Have you heard of these causing misfires due to the PCM not reading them properly?
At 2:03 is that a oil catch can with the red top? If so, what brand? Thanks in advance!
Nice vid
Can you do another with the numbers of the cylinder?
Thx I’m going to change mine tomorrow
Do the coils to plugs need some extra di-electric grease when putting them on or do the new coils have some in them???
what the coil voltage output
Can you feel the difference in power with these performance coils?
Nope
Ya got a supercharger install video ?
Hopefully soon!
Is it chinese?
What kind of performance do these coils provide?
Apparently not much If anything
