Yes yes yes! I hated that disgusting turd soooo much! When Steve left Marcy and was replaced by Jefferson D'arcy and then having Steve returning towards the end of the show worked like a charm. I read somewhere that David Garrison left the show and try his luck as a stage actor in New York. Perhaps he got bored doing the same play in front of an audience night after night, or he never got his big break as a thespian. Speaking of thespians, did Amanda Bearse come out openly as a lesbian during the show or was that later after the show was canceld? If it was while the show was still on air she must have beaten Ellen by quite a few years?
I always thought the whole Seven thing was none on purpose. The knew MWC was past it's prime so the added him. He was only on for maybe 1/2 a season then he suddenly disappears. There's even a hidden Joke about it. One of Peg's friends picks up a milk carton & there's a pic of him on the side.
I think that they were going to add the character because Katie Segal was pregnant in real life. They hid the fact in MWC by only filming her from above her waist or hiding her front behind something. Later, she went to stay with her family and only appears on the show during phone call scenes. She returned after she had her baby and Seven is gone from the show. I think the show's producers got rid of the characterbecause he was unpopular. @timobrien8809
I think the narrative about Emily on Friends is unfair. The character isn’t very likable so it’s easy to blame her, but when Ross said “Rachel” at the wedding, Emily was in shock & put on the spot; can’t really blame her for not stopping the wedding mid-ceremony. As for the controlling stuff later- I mean, she tried to end the relationship immediately after the wedding but Ross hounded and hunted her down and begged her to stay with him. She stated her boundaries and Ross didn’t have to agree to them. I don’t blame her for expecting Ross to not hang out with Rachel anymore. She’s someone he’d been in love with since childhood, had just gotten back together/slept with a few months earlier, and now he humiliates Emily by saying her name at his wedding. Why would Emily feel comfortable with him continuing to hang out with Rachel as usual while Emily is in another country? Yeah it’ll be tough on Ross since Rachel is so entangled in his life, but that’s not Emily’s fault.
You're forgetting Rachel traveled to Russ's wedding to Emily told Ross that she still loves him and she had no right to do either I know she was a main character but she was just so icky
Glory wasn't trying to start the apocalypse. She was trying to use the key/Dawn to get back home. She was a hell god who was exiled to the mortal world. And in Angel, it is fully explained how she got pregnant. After Wolfram and Hart brought her back, she was human and mortal. Prior to being sired she was dying from syphilis. Since she came back human, her syphilis came back too. Since it was basically mystical syphilis there was no medicinal cure. Angel went through a trial to get a new life for her. The life he won could not go yo Darla since her being resurrected was her second life. Connor was the life he won. And everything was orchestrated by the rouge Power that ended up basically birthing itself via Cordelia. I am not saying that the whole Connor storyline was a great one but there is in show explainations as to how Darla was able to become pregnant.
Billie was the worst character on charmed along with her nasty sister christie. Couco is the worst actress ive ever seen. She ruined the show last season and tbbt
What about Olivia from the Cosby Show ? Way to cutesy-poo for me. It came to the point where I'd hit mute every time she was gonna speak. I seem to remember one scene where Theo is roped into bringing her along to a cafe, restaurant where he is meeting friends. At one point she starts singing an annoyingly cute song & the whole fecking place, waitstaff included have to drop what they are doing, listen & clap along. I could understand table beside Theo's & their waiter doing it. But the whole place ? Come on. It I was there I'd be like " Shut this kid up & bring me my food." Rudy was the perfect cute kid who grew into a likeable teen.
I absolutely hate dawn she was so annoying the show definitely didn't know what to do with her after season 5 and I was furious when she kicked out buffy in season 7
let's just agree that Connor's addition to Angel was horrific. that said unflattering stories coming out of Hollywood about Joss Whedon aside. you folks really need some help in your fact checking department. he is pro choice and has supports planned Parenthood. also angels soul. (a major point of the whole character, again research) is the reason he could make a baby.
I completely disagree with Dawn being hated on Buffy. IMHO, she actually added a lot to the show that might have run it's course 3 years sooner without her.
You missed that Angel goes through the trials to give Darla a new life so Connor is the fulfilment for her new life as she wasnt allowed to have it as she was already alive and her life was her second chance.
It was stupid to bring billie on the final season of charmed I didn't like her I understand that at this point the three leads where tired and overworked but still she just wasn't a good addiction
Replacing Michael Shanks in Stargate SG-1 with that other actor from Saved by the bell or something similar did not work at all! I was very happy when Shanks returned and Jack O'Neill got the original band back together! When Ben Browder and Claudia Black replaced many of the orginal actors who wanted to leave the show and maybe do a few guest apperances worked rather well too. Probably due to the fact that Both Ben and Claudia came almost direrctly from another Scifi show where they both had leading roles. Oh, and I loved when they made fun of their old show Farscape in the Stargate SG-1 episode "200".
No. Just no. They should have left the Farscape cast off. I could not stand Claudia Black on it. And having the nerve to insult Daniel by having him get with her? Eff that.
Matt Donovan - TVD Davina - TO Felicity - Arrow Chloe - Smallville Ryan Wolfe - Csi Miami some hated in small period of the times, another's hated most of the times!
Which character additions did you hate the most?
Don't forget Dr. Jackson Han in Season 2 of “The Good Doctor”!
Agent Knight. NCIS. They need to kill that character off 🤮
The character "Seven" on Married With Children was an example of the Oliver syndrome.

You forgot Mon El from Supergirl, Ryan from Brothers and Sisters and Quinn, Clay and Alex from One Tree Hill
Dawn wasn't so bad. It was Connor that sucked.

Dawn was a good character and i will die on this hill 😤
I didn't mind her. Also, I she wasn't around and they still killed Joyce, I feel like Buffy would've gone down a dark path.
Changing Donna's hair color is what killed That '70s Show.
About Connor you forgot about the all Cordelia thing !!
My list would have also included the two new cousins added to the Dukes of Hazzard when Tom Wopat and John Schneider left over contract disputes
I actually liked Dawn Summers (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Rachel Seaver (Criminal Minds)
I would definitely add Dani Beck to this list. She’s the worst on SVU 😂😂😂
You're forgetting Rachel traveled to Russ's wedding to Emily told Ross that she still loves him and she had no right to do either I know she was a main character but she was just so icky

I would've put Ivy Dickens instead of Vanessa for the Gossip Girl choice smh
What about "Seven" from the Bundys?
Imagine still hating Dawn in the year of our lord 2022.
When Love Boat added the Captain's daughter
Billie was the worst character on charmed along with her nasty sister christie. Couco is the worst actress ive ever seen. She ruined the show last season and tbbt
Connor wasn't that bad.
Strongly going to disagree, he was weird n slept his "mom"
Emily wasn’t even that bad until the end.

Ugh Connor! Connor returned grown up and killed the show.
Emily was fine...Ross/Rachel pairing was toxic and Ross was just full on ew.
I absolutely hate dawn she was so annoying the show definitely didn't know what to do with her after season 5 and I was furious when she kicked out buffy in season 7

Yeah I didn't like April in Gilmore girls the writer's made a stupid decision to bring her character on the show
You missed that Angel goes through the trials to give Darla a new life so Connor is the fulfilment for her new life as she wasnt allowed to have it as she was already alive and her life was her second chance.
It was stupid to bring billie on the final season of charmed I didn't like her I understand that at this point the three leads where tired and overworked but still she just wasn't a good addiction
When a series gets rid of a major character and tries to ad a new one to replace him or her, it's pretty much over.
Che Diaz in Sex and the city spinofff

I agree with all
I loved Glory
That Latino actress who couldn’t act ruined Without A Trace when she joined the main cast
Vanessa was not an added character tho????
Leave April alone!
Yes absolutely hated Dawn. So basic and annoying 🙄
First
Matt Donovan - TVD
Davina - TO
Felicity - Arrow
Chloe - Smallville
Ryan Wolfe - Csi Miami
some hated in small period of the times, another's hated most of the times!
Watch the Canadian TV show heartland...wait for the introduction of Georgie...then redo this list
Georgie was fine and she was worked well into the show. Parker on the other hand is a nightmare of a character.
I hated Ashley Seaver. Never hated a criminal minds charater more than her.
I didn't hate her. Until I found out they fired AJ and Paget to hire a younger actress. They fired both to hire her
Oliver was a great character in the OC. The fans actually loved that character. 🤦♂️
I totally disagree about Park in the TV show HouseMD!
I really don't care that any of these actors were added. Didn't ruin any of the shows.
