I use Frey lube rim grease on my tire beads.. It adds lube for assembly then dries a bit sticky. It helps to keep beads from leaking and it helps to keep the rubber from seizing or rusting or corroding the aluminum or steel wheel .
Had the rivet issue on my 97 WG - told the shop I was having problems adjusting into 5th. Eventually they get the bike on the dyno and the told me the rivets let loose. No kidding. 😂 I did the Vulcan Engineering aluminum shifter shaft sleeve vs the plastic when I changed from forwards to mids. I also switched to ATF Type F fluid for the primary. Seems to work fine. I think I finally figured out the clutch adjustment so it finds neutral very easily now. New subscriber, although I have seen other videos and mentions on others builds. Keep up the good work.
The Type F trans fluid is a thinner weight then standard non synthetic primary oil and it seems to leak out of the shifter shaft even more. I added a vent to the inner primary and it stopped leaking. Even though they say that it vents through the clutch pushrod and into the trans and out the trans vent. But it doesn’t vent enough. I been running with the vent in the primary for a year now leak free. The vent has a hose that goes up under the seat and back down.
I have V2H on my work truck Dyna I usually shut it off, coast up to the garage in neutral. Except that one day I forgot the neutral part, screeching halt I came down on the 2020 knee replacement. Bent the bag frame ever so slightly, have a piece of rubber between it and the bag
I have and use that same exact stand, never have I tied the bike down because the stand isn't hard mounted to the concrete garage floor. That's fixing to change.
@Me.MyMachinist.and.l oh OK gotcha, beautiful bike, little damage done. I had a tire that wouldn't seat, after much bs. Turned out it was a imperfection on the tire bead.
@@Me.MyMachinist.and.l If you had more power . you might have to add a washer to each spring . I did that on a Yamaha 80 after i tripled the power with a GYT Kit Cylinder.
Again props to your editor and next time around definitely upgrade to the Barnett clutch pack. ☝🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
😂😂 thanks and the new build will def have a stronger setup!!

Great tip!

Love your videos. You deserve more views
I appreciate that!
Upgrade that shift shaft sleeve to a Vulcan or FXR division. Happy to see you avoid a disaster with that tip over
I did, at the end of this video I installed the FXRDivision sleeve and retainer, awesome product for sure!

Yikes. Hopefully it’s not too noticeable

The stand works great, unfortunately the tire went flat and it no longer was tight inside the chalk. Just one of those freak accidents 😂

I think you have to have a lot of wear on your clutch plates before you can add another one .
Yeah I felt there was more to it and I haven’t done enough research so I just stuck with the stock setup. It works good for my mild little 80”

I had a bad Shinko, bran new started hopping violently at 72mph like something broke.
This will be my only set of these. Next year I’m starting the season off on something new for sure
Solid ass stable, did you relocate the chevelle?
Yes. It’s in storage for the time being until we move and I have more space.
I never trust anything more than the kickstand.
Usually I place the small jack under it, but was using it on a different bike. Learned my lesson real quick though. 😂😂
