Hi folks, welcome to Jacob’s Kitchen. In this video, I have shared the 100-year-old Locomotive. This steam train departs from Inchanga station to Botha hill station through the valley of a 1000 hills and back. It is one of the only steam train experiences in SA.
At Inchanga station there is a local market with food drinks and market stuff, horse rides, etc
This roughly 75 minutes trip departs from Inchanga Railway Station, meandering along the rolling hills of KZN, through one of the oldest operating tunnels in South Africa, with the sights of the Valley of 1000 Hills in the distance, before turning around at Botha's Hill for the return to Inchanga.

Sadly the floods of April 22 damaged the track just before Hillcrest, think a embankment washed over the tracks, hopefully the train wil one day run down to Kloof station again!
