Thanks Jessica. One question regarding subjects in CC, why did you take so many non-core subjects (Igetc?), while UC only required 7 course pattern? Thanks
community college was affordable! i think it was a total of up to 2k a school year, but there were also programs that gave free tuition (i wasn’t involved cause i didn’t know about it at the time) after i transferred to ucla, i was at home my first year because of covid so i only had to pay for tuition which was $15k for the year. i also got financial aid from fafsa my senior year i also had financial aid, and i think without it it was about $30k total. i don’t remember exactly how much i paid, but i think it was about $15k for the year after aid. i also had a software engineering internship going into my senior year, so i paid almost all of it myself from the money i had saved from my internship as well as some jobs i worked in college
im pretty late to this as I am looking at ucla transfer videos. But rn I am at CC in california and we have a program called california promise grant and they gave me free tuition for cc. Way better than the private univ i applied to that cost 15k a semester. lol
you’re a lifesaver thank you so much 😭
