    You can apply vinyl wet or dry. Most carbon fiber can be installed dry but others need to be applied wet using Rapid Tac spray. You spray it all over the surface you wish to wrap and the adhesive on the vinyl. Squeegee the vinyl onto the surface and post heat the entire vinyl with a heat gun to help speed up the drying process. Rapid tac can dry in 90 seconds or faster if it's hot outside.

    I know this is a year old. But I always dreamed of having my favorite bicycle carbon fiber and gold. I already have 1 rim all gold(just the inside) and a few tiny parts. My main problem has been trying to find that good carbon fiber that will go great with the gold. And this video helped me out a lot.

    phil im pretty sure vinyl wrap is supposed to be applied dry, not like ppf where you use the slip solution and then stick solution, that could be why you are having the issue with it adhering? just a thought, looks pretty good

      I thought so too...but it would have been a nightmare trying to apply dry. It was really sticky. I put way to much soap in the solution 🤦🏻‍♂️ I realized.

      @swegbich diffrent types of wrap. This one is a vinyl type, which is meant for dry application as it is more of a sticker than car wrap

    Love how you don't care about gluck glucking popular products and just use what works given the situation. And the products tend to be on the sensibly affordable side as they should be for profit margins in a bussiness

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  5 років тому

      Well I guess it all depends on what type of vinyl and what your applying it too. I couldn’t see how applying it dry on to this metal cart would have worked. It would have tons of bubbles and creases that I wouldn’t be able to work out unless I applied it wet. Have you ever tried to apply vinyl dry on a surface like this before? @MirandaDetailing  4 роки тому +2

      If you’re talking about the in video UA-cam ads, then you need to do some research....I have no control over those. Those are from UA-cam joy me. I also don’t get paid to advertise any products. Companies send me products and I tell them I only will show and use the products that I like and that actually work for me. Be careful of accusations like that. You have no idea how we actually run our detailing business. Detailing is our main business. UA-cam is a side thing that we do. Also if there are products that I already use and love and the company of said product wants me to pay me to show it more often, that’s the only time I’ll charge THEM to show it more. It’s not a paid review or promotion, it’s my prerogative to charge them for my time. There is a huge difference. But if people don’t understand that, shame on them for accusing and for their ignorance. Our channel has been successful because of exactly what we are doing and will continue to do. For anyone to challenge that or accuse us of anything is treading on our right to choose what we do to benefit ourselves and others.
