Actually, it's "Cars (Numanoid instrumental edit)". So who can find the album (video) instrumental edit? Love this song!

you got it all wrong, this is the version from the album in its instrumental form, the Numanoid Mix is the one from the video, is a remix with ots of adde sounds and effects

@@mar666lo No, I'm right. You can hear "Cars (Numanoid mix) - only Gary's vocal, more additional of electronic sounds FXs" at "Fear Factory - Hatefiles" and it's similar for this one (instrumental). "Cars (video version)" is a duo of Burton & Gary, with more of heavy Dino's guitar sound. Cheers!

@@ivanpetrow3044 indeed I made a mistake with the name "mix", since instrumentally, this version you have here on youtube IS THE INSTRUMENTAL FORM of both the ones in "Obsolete" and "Hatefiles"
So let me clarify now your confussion:
      - During the Obsolete sessions, they decided to record "Cars" after goofing off playing it in the studio, they recorded the vocal tracks only with Burt, but later they decided to invite Gary. Both singers recorded the entire song lyrics.
      - They mixed 3 versions of this, one with just Burt, another with just Gary, and the combo everyone knows from "Obsolete" (this is all in the "Hatefiles" booklet)
      - This instrumental track you can hear here, when it was mixed with both Burt and Gary on vocals was first released only in the digipack version of "Obsolete" as a bonus track, among other songs (the first regular pressings of "Obsolete" didn´t have "Cars" in it) this mix does not have any fancy electronic FX in it.
      - Then, this cover got very popular so they made a video of it but they used a remix version done by Rhys Fulber and Junkie XL and it had both Burt and Gary in it as well, plus lots of electronic FX, programming and edits (this one you could only get in a CD single release of "Cars")
      - Then they re-released "Obsolete" as a regular CD with "Cars" as the last track (the version from the digipack with both Gary and Burt, not the remix used for the video and the CD single)
      - Then, after FF disbanded in 2002 they released "Hatefiles" with all these B Sides and they included this version they called "Numanoid mix" with only Gary on vocals (and Burt at the end) which was mixed in 1998 before they gave it to Rhys and Junkie XL in 1999 to make the remix for the video.
      Summarizing:
The "Numanoid mix" from "Hatefiles" and the first original version from "Obsolete", instrumentally are just the same. This is the one you can listen to in this video.
The only instrumental version of Cars missing still is the remix by Rhys and Junkie XL. That´s the version from the video (and the CD single of "Cars")

@@mar666lo Wow! I didn't know the story! Thank you very much for that! It's one of my favorite song of FF. Bro, please, maybe you can help me and other fans of FF with the background words of "H-K" song? Please! What do you hear at 0-35 (after"More people have guns on the street now than ever be attacked"): something like -
"Arm producing." ??? And the spoken WORDS from 3-14 to 3-25 (it's after "The war against the machines"), something like: [Code red over just dead (was given)]. Booklet doesn't contain all of this. Let me know! Kind regards! Ivan

@@ivanpetrow3044 well, a fan can dig into the trivia by listening, watching or reading interviews, you could actually ask band members, as I do on Dino´s patreon, or in social media, or as I like to do it better, talking to them after a show, in person. Are we done or do you want to add more sarcasm to this conversation, Ivan? go support the band, buy the music and the merch
