Great video. I have the exact same generator with 53 hours on it. Actually got it from the exact Kubota dealer in Victoria you did. It's a great generator but to big for my liking. Moving it around is always a pain in the rear. It's practically brand new and I am wanting to sell it to get smaller gasoline generator. If you know anyone that would want a like new GL14000 let me know if you could. I actually live near the Beeville area, so close to your neck of the woods. Thanks and keep up the good videos.
Thanks! I have the predator 9500 and 5000 and they are very impressive.. The 9500 is a 240 volt unit but only has a 30 amp..

Have you had any issues with the sine wave and any sort of sensitive electronics? I know in general you're not supposed to plug in stuff that is super sensitive to a generator that could produce an unclean sine wave. The reason I'm asking mainly is because most Lighting in your home these days is produced by LEDs and was wondering if you noticed any kind of flickering or any downside effects to not having inverter generator instead. Also I really enjoyed the video and it was very informative.
I just know you wanted to play with this thing so you brought it out. Should do a load test video and run it at 100% to avoid wet stacking with these short low load runs
If it doesn't speed up or slow down depending on load is a deal breaker for me. I really want one but running 3600 RPM with only a light bulb on does not make sense.
I am looking at these for a home backup. and watched your videos. In your time of using it have you had any negative experiences with electronics computers etc not liking it for powering your home?
Great review thanks. You mention running 2 RVs, to do that, would a double 50A Y adapter pigtail be used plugged into the 50A Generator outlet? Then 2 separate 50A cords from the pigtail to the RVs? I’m considering one of these for home backup where I have 2 separate 50A backup circuits. One to house and one to shop. Trying to find a single generator to run both circuits, knowing I will need to manage load. Thanks
The y adapter could be maxed out on amperage with #6 wire. Proper way would be to make a pigtail and use hardwire connection
Gotcha thanks for that info. That was my initial thought, to use the hardwire connection to add a 2nd 50A outlet, just thought the pigtail would be easier but good point on it being maxed out, or near maxed most of the time
