    Thank you for the video. 3600 is getting it for a diesel. I know it’ll serve you well. I lean towards the 1800 rpm for constant/long term use during an outage. Something to entertain.

    Very interesting. And very Informative. Question, Would this supply enough power for a 2100 sf house in Florida including a 4 Ton a/c with a variable speed air handler. 20 seer unit. What's your feeling? Would it be enough? Also fuel consumption under this type of load per hour? That's. I'm ready to pull the trigger on one if it's sufficient.

      @@petermashak3341 yeah all that is understood but why the hell would kubota choose to engineer, produce, and market something so nice but only use a two pole alternator which in my opinion is a crutch because it’s going to be more noisy burn more fuel have shorter maintenance intervals and have half the life expectancy.

    • @jjr897
      @jjr897 2 роки тому

      @@lesgray3355 I was thinking the same thing, my guess is because to get that hi of a kw rating in a small enclosure they probably used the Kubota d1105 engine, and @ 1800 rpm it would not be enough power. My light tower uses the D1105 engine at 1800 rpm and it’s only rated for 6kw. And I have a another Kubota d1105 engine that came out of a front cut mower that I’m building my own generator with, that is directly coupled to a 10kw generator Head and with testing it drops about 2hz with 8kw load on it. So it’s out of its power band. Sorry for the rambling on, just my 2 cents.
