    Just installed and rode my 24' 300 XC-W with the TSP med comp head and ERM... WOW, what an improvement. It definitely made me realize how rich my stock XCW was running. I highly recommend this combo for where I live in SE Kansas.

      Can’t wait to do the TSP high compression head and ECU reflash on a 25 Husky TX300 later this year 👍

    Did you delete the oil injection on your XC-W? And if so, what ratio are you running?

      Hello:
      Yes, I removed the tank and pump. A video will be posted soon about how to do it. I use Amsoil Saber at 100:1. slavensracing.com/shop/saber-2-stroke-premix-amsoil/

    A low cost KTM. I'll take the KTM line of 2 strokes. I do not need different stickers on a low grade KTM.

    Jeff have you looked into the ktm/husky/GG 250/300 piston to crank contact rumor thats going around? Would love your opinion. Seems some have lost the lower end because of it. Might just be the 300..

      Hello:
      I tire of the rumor mill very quickly. Two years ago Vertex had a batch of pistons that had incorrect length intake skirts. They resolved the issue quickly and recalled the incorrect spec pistons. If one of the out of spec pistons is installed, there is a definite ticking/knocking noise.
      A customer sent me a video of an engine that exploded, but the author of that video provided very little information and didn't respond to comments. . That tells me he is hiding the truth about the issue.
      I'm going to make a video about this over-hyped subject because there is a lot more to it than I care to explain in an email or post. Stay tuned but in the meanwhile, ride your bike and enjoy every minute.

      @@slaverace1 good deal! I have a 2023 300xc and when on my track i stay on the pipe. The rumors almost have me wanting to change piston but i will accept them as rumors. Sometimes us average joe’s cant help but get caught up in these things. Thanks!
