Being an electrician by trade I've purchased two or more DVMs from Wish. I've found that they are extremely accurate when compared to meters costing hundreds of dollars. Yes they are cheap and feel very bit that way. For someone using these on a limited basis they are just fine. However I don't think I would bet my life with these at higher voltages. I 've found that the teads tend to fall apart very easily. Not all Chinese products are bad!
Here's a fun story.... When I was 17, my dad buggered off to Spain to do up his mate's house he'd just bought, leaving me in the house alone. It was a stinking hot summer and I was wandering around in me boxers, it was that hot. One day, I decided a nice cool shower would make the day better so off I sodded to the bathroom. Switched on the shower and.... nothing. So, being the son of a builder, I went into fault-finding mode: Check power, Check water etc. I went and grabbed a multimeter out of dad's drawer of wonders to check the power. It was a cheapo pocket piece of garbage he found at a boot sale. Opened the unit, probed it and it was dead. Aha, I thought. There's the issue! Wait.... did I turn the isolator back on? Shite, no. Turned it back on, went back, holding the plastic probes right where the leads from the meter entered them and poked them into a live 40 amp terminal.... bare footed.... I hit the back of the shower cubicle, shaking and making strange noises like "whadafuckayafukmekaaaaaa".... turns out it wasn't a power problem. Was a pressure switch or something. Dad fixed it when he came back 2 months later. Yeah... I'm a maintenance manager/chief engineer now and I'll only stick GS38 compliant probes in stuff now! :D
Some of them can be fine for precision work too without having to spend too much money. My last one cost me £12 delivered and was just as accurate as the £120 Fluke DMM I borrowed to compare it to. It may not live as long as a Fluke, but for £12, who cares?
Well cheap enough that if it breaks you won't feel so bad. Buy two with one as a back up in case it does pass away suddenly. The knob sounds solid enough but inside it's the contacts that are the weakest link. Don't try measuring voltage on resistance settings is the important thing as you will burn up something if it doesn't have a small fuse which the more expensive ones do have.
My life isn't complete without at least one multimeter. I have an Aneng AN8008, which is slighty more expensive than this. It's actually not bad at all and covers all the ranges and features i need, with a backlit display as well. Had some of these feather light cheapies too, but ended up selling them 😀.
I purchased one from the same place for like 2-3 dollars American and I was surprised that it worked. That same exact one. I still use it today and I purchased it like a year and a half ago. They are very cheaply made and have no kind of weight to it. Looking at this video reminded me of the time I purchased mine. I'm sure you are going to be surprised when you see for yourself how good it actually works.
I've just ordered a very similar multimeter from t-emu for a silly price. I do have some expensive multimeters here but it will do for quick voltage checks for when i am repairing old cb radios.
I'm sure there's nothing wrong with just because it's cheap. Last time I was looking around for a DMM, I found different models from different companies that all looked basically the same. I looked around on the Interwebs for teardowns to see what was inside them all and, surprise surprise, they were all based on identical guts despite some being eight times more expensive than others.
The battery is not missing, it does not come with a battery. What do you want for 2 bucks? For goodness sake. Perhaps you thought that it should include an all expenses paid trip for 2 to Dubai or Butlins given your reckless spending habits. It's an Aneng and yes they work well if a genuine Aneng product. If you knew about multi - meters you would be aware that this can be found under another half dozen brand names at least.
AliExpress sucks.I ordered a fire pit and never received it and no one would return my emails about it. I tried at least five times to contact someone about it with no success. So, no fire pit and no money refunded. Buyers beware.

I mostly use these for car repairs to check voltage from alternator

lol I did same with my finger in a light bulb 💡 socket as a kid
Not bad for the $ . These cheaper mulit-meters are fine for use around the home & car.

Yeh they seem to do the job ok 👌
got one ages ago, as my mate Harry says: Do it again so it is not a Fluke......
lol

Ok thanks for the tip

Yeh I’m lost without one, as i do most my own car repairs

Yeh when it works it’s like what the heck !! lol 😂

Yeh mine was broke but turns out I had a faulty battery, I’m keeping this as a backup
I would just say that it came from the C. H. Ina Company.

I'm using that one. Working good.

That trip should be a bonus raffle for everyone who purchased these 😂😂

I’ve used them long time only ever had one issue and I got a refund on that item
