Because they basically only had to create one faction. They could put most of their focus polishing the campaign instead of balancing a myriad of different unit stats for battles. While I think it is from a function and polish perspective the best total war game, it's also the one I've played the least. It's like okay, new game, playing the same guys just starting on a different portion of the map.

I feel like iSorrow would adore playing Clan Skryre in the recent update/DLC to Warhammer 2. There are few things more satisfying than using jezzails to snipe out the enemy lord and then melt his army with ratling guns, not to mention nuking both enemy armies that seem a bit intimidating and, through Undercities, entire cities.
Normally I don't really think 'content creator' merch is worth it, but that "Denmark isn't Real" hoodie is just calling my name. It's got that perfect mix of reference and random that wouldn't make it obvious that it's a merch shirt except to other ISP subs.

That katana spear combo is a naginata I think. Wasn’t sure so checked it out but the blade seems larger in this game imo so maybe its an early/heavy version of it.
The "big things on their backs" were actually used to make them look bigger and scare the enemy. The balloon would catch the air when they charged and thus make them look bigger and more threatening. Either that or that wanted to look like a Japanese man with a massive marble strapped to their back.
Fun tip: Setting your Yari Ashigaru divisions in Shogun 2 into yari wall mode ( icon displayed with 3 spears pointing up ) will make them defend much better
