The Church Without Israel: What Our Churches are Missing!
Вставка

- In this episode, Petra Scott shares her journey of understanding the need for the Church to embrace its Jewish foundation and relationship with the Jewish community. Petra's journey began with resistance and skepticism toward the connection between Israel and the Church. She was later floored by the revelation of embracing the Jewish foundation of our faith.
The discussion covers concepts like interdependence, covenantal unity, and the Church's need to honor and respect its Jewish foundation. Genuinely embracing this understanding is not about changing the Church's mission but rather enhancing and aligning with God's heart for Israel and the one new man of Jew and Gentile. The speaker argues that without this revelation, the Church is missing a full understanding of the kingdom and the fulfillment of Jesus' prayer in John 17 for unity.

As a Jewish believer in Yeshua for nearly fifty years, God bless you Gateway! I love you, and may all of you continue in this most important work for He who is our Salvation.
AMEN AND AMEN!!! It's time for thousands of years of supersessionism to be removed from the church!! It must be replaced with love, honor, respect and compassion for His chosen Israelite people!

Great conversation! How can we get more info about The Road to Jerusalem- is there a website? I'd loe to be able to point it out to some of the Pastors in this Community,
The comment about the neighbor being hurt is similar to how some Jews feel about Jesus since horrors were done in his name.
I say that so many times. Jews have been hurt so much by Christian's doing or saying things in the name of Jesus Christ. If we want them to be less hostile towards Christ, then we need to start being a better representation of Christ.
We will do well to abandon "I feel" and return to "I think."
A lot of Christian pastors though, forget that learning to live in the ways of Christ is the finalizing step of our Salvation.
John 3:36.
Just like all of the New Testament, including Romans 9 And 10, talk about that. We are not to make up our own ways of righteousness. Otherwise our salvation is at risk. But that Moses writes about the righteousness of the law and how we should be living In God's holy ways. These are his standards, not ours wish we should live by.
In Romans 7:7, Paul proclaims that if not for the written law we would have no understanding of what sin is as a compass for our lives or what we would consider moral. And then we would not be able to repent and turn to God's ways and stop living As lawless sinners.
But oftentimes coming to Christ is enough For a church, and they forget that the Great commission is to lead people into discipleship. Not just into baptism.
And if church is not teaching God's ways appropriately, then they are not teaching God's righteousness in their congregation, and therefore they have not led anyone to Salvation. Even if they have been baptized. They are only part of the way, and at risk according to Paul, Because of false teaching.
The only way we complete our faith in him is by doing his commandments And becoming obedient followers of God!
But if all that pastors care about our numbers, and then they don't care what people do, then they can baptize all they want, but if people are not gaining the teachers that teach them properly, then we have a great disparity.... Just like between gentile and Jew. One understands the way of God As he walked on Earth with them In both the Old Testament and the new, and the other one understands the Divinity, But they don't know what to do... just like she said.
Amen! It's not about numbers like how many people prayed the prayer, or how many Bibles were distributed. It's about discipleship and continual relationship. Not a "get out of hell free card", but a call to repentance from sin (defined in Torah), and walking in the Spirit so that we can be true disciples of Yeshua.
Nothing truer than:
"When you're a college student you just want some free food.."
"Replacement theology actually defames the character of God. Because it makes Israel His X-wife, and we are the new younger bride.....The Roman's 11 tree that we've been grafted into.....If we don't understand that, then we don't understand the Kingdom.....If we don't know that we're adopted, then we don't know our place in the family."
.
AMEN AND AMEN!!! It's time for thousands of years of supersessionism to be removed from the church!! It must be replaced with love, honor, respect and compassion for His chosen Israelite people!
21:30 - you're not conflating Yeshua with God are you? How can he pray to the Father and be the Father at the same time?... I know the word (logos) in him is God, but the human isn't... Because God is not a man
Here's a simple answer for you:
God ≠ Father
God = Father + Son + Holy Ghos
❤
26:00 -... And that's what Islam does/says and other cults that purport to have the only truth
What a bunch of theological nonsense. Stop teaching heresy and causing division!
