And now every foundation out there will be reformulated again to include these not-new skincare products?

The red eye makeup look you guys are talking about is a very big thing in the grunge/punk community, looking sick and close to deaths door is part of the alternative/grunge/punk esthetic. If done right its very obvious that you are wearing makeup but for those of us who DON'T want people to interact with us in public its a good look.

So people have doing what’s called mesotherapy for a while now, which is injecting things just under the skin, using non-filler / non botox type products, such as salmon DNA concentrate, various peptides / growth factors, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid (which doesn’t add structure / volume, only long lasting moisture) to improve skin health and texture, and provide moisture from within, without actually changing the shape of your face. I’m a physician and I started looking into it myself and purchased a gun that is used in some med spas to easily inject products like these and I’ve ordered some non-prescription sterile, produced products to use on myself. I can honestly say the results are amazing. I’m 47, My skin is smooth and radiant, and although pores and wrinkles are not completely gone, they are more minimized than after any externally applied product. Obviously not everyone is gonna safely be comfortable/ able to do that to themselves at home but it’s a service that I wanna think about offering in my clinic at some point. I love you both so much! Thank you for your show.! Stay gay AF!

My favorite part of this video was your discussion comparing the new Makeup Forever foundation to the About Face foundation during Purchase or Pass. That was SO informative and helpful! I feel that discussions like this is where the two of you really shine and your expertise really comes through, especially since you both also have completely different skin types and can really elaborate on the advantages and disadvantages of each product.

I got a tinted moisturizer from Elizabeth Arden around 30 years ago. Its been around for a while. They had a rewards program back in the day and you would get stickers for free products. You could pick the most expensive product if you wanted. I used to buy the Christmas makeup kits alot I think the tinted moisturizer was a gift with purchase.
Johnny I LOVE that you mentioned a lot of foundations coming out & they love them all so you don’t know which is best or best for you. Us normal ppm aren’t buying every foundation, concealer, powder that comes out so a bit of clarifying would be super helpful.

See, you too perfectly highlighted why I don't follow makeup trends. I'm always interested in new products and formulations, new brands, and new techniques, but "trends"? No. It just seems to me like all of these trends are created to sell what hasn't been selling in the cosmetics department. I just want to wear what makes me feel and look most beautiful. Some days that's minimal makeup, and some days I can wipe out an entire cosmetics store.
The "retro red".... Oh that got me! Lord I grabbed my pearls and broke them off and threw them on the ground! (Dramatic yes! 😂)

By the way, Miley Cyrus was diagnosed with Reinke's Oedema in 2019 and had to have an operation on her vocal chords that permanently changed her voice. She has had to adapt to having a voice of a much older human with a 60 a day cigarette habit.
