It's puzzling to me that the lecturer has such poor pronunciation of the words and letters, yet has mastered the punctuation. It's so easy to listen to a native Hebrew speaker and you'll immediately realise that it is not shwa but shva, as one example of very many mistakes. It's a shame that the students are being misled in terms of pronunciation.
@@SupraTentoriaL The professor makes very clear that he is teaching Biblical (Classical) Hebrew, not Modern Hebrew. There are no native Classical Hebrew speakers alive today! He is teaching according to pronunciations recorded hundreds of years ago. The language has changed since then. The purpose of this class is to pronounce the language closer to how it was spoken in the biblical era.
I'm 17. I have decided to learn all the languages that the Lord wrote his Scriptures in all of it by God's grace. I live in Albania so greek would be easy for me to find tutor, but hebrew (then aramaic) would be extremely hard. I thank God for your ministry and seminars, they have been a great help. May the Lord be gracious to you all 'till the end and forever more.
That's a smart decision. I regret reading initially translations of the Bible instead of learning Hebrew first. Now I have to make an extra effort to prevent my prior readings from influencing, perhaps contaminating, my current study of the Tanakh.
I’m 76. I have always wantend to learn Hebrew. Just started and am very much helped by these videos. Knowing the grammar has Made me understand quicker the sentences I read in the Hebrew Bible . So thank you very much for these video’s.
When introducing the vocal shewa, this video says that it occurs after the "full letter vowels" - obviously different to mere "long vowels". But at 45:46, in the first example where we need to identify whether the shewa is vocal or silent, we're told that it's vocal because it follows a "long vowel", which made be very confused, and I consulted my notes and the recording multiple times. What exactly is the rule that tells me that this shewa is a vocal shewa? Is it only "full letter vowels" which produce vocal shewas after them, or "long vowels" too?
Are these for audio download anywhere? (was converting them all, which is time consuming but worth it, only if audio download isn't available anywhere)
Is it the case that for consonants with more than one pronunciation you just have to memorize the pronunciation for each word? e.g. tsade can be pronounced 's' or 'ts' - or is tsade always 'ts' at the end of words? (as in the last word in Gen 1.1. (meaning 'earth')), at the very end of the video.
hebrew vowels and consonants don't have more than one pronounciation. A tsade is always pronounced as an ts-sound, whether it is at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of a word (which then it only changes form, not pronounciation).
The Jews of Yemen are from the first diaspora over 3,000 years ago when they exiled from the first galuth (destruction of the first Temple. They maintain the original pronunciation of the "ayin" which is the same sound as the Arabic "eyn" sound. They also pronounce the segol "a" sound as in "cat". the Resh is similar to the Spanish "R" but not trilled as much. The Ashkenazi pronounce the resh gutturaly n gthe throat.
Indeed you are right. I am an arabic mother tongue the sephardim the jews that mixed with arabs they could conserve those original pronunciations and for the ashkinaz is not hard to be able to spell it like originally they require hard practicing n work.
Achraf EL KOUHEN Sephardim are not mixed with arabs. Ashkenazic r is the same as the slavic r. The recent german sounding r was only used by the the speakers of the german dialect of yiddish and by the Sephardic jews who spoke french daily
Does anyone know what the transliteration is for pathach with a concluding yod that makes the "eye" or long i sound? I may figure out what it is before long in this lecture series, but I'll ask here just in case.
Well i do not know but i can give 2 thoughts: 1- it is a exception to the rule and it is pronounced once (it might be because it is the first letter of the word) 2- it has to do with the sound "sh", the letter is doubled, but the sound "sh" seems to not want to be seperated. Try to say hash-shamayim it is hard because the "sh" and to make it easier it is said like once.
@@Ben94729 Thanks Ben. I forgot to withdraw my question. Chapter 6 of Dr. Barrick's grammar book (available online for free) explains there are five rules or cases for affixation of the article. One of these rules is that a dagesh must be placed in the first consonant of the noun that follows the article (hence the period inside ש). As Dr. Barrick repeatedly points out, gutturals can't take dagesh. Therefore other rules apply to those cases.
I don't find it necessary to pronounce the consonants and vowels the way we "think" they sounded, it's even mildly irritating. I don't use the words, thee, thy, and thou, yet that's how they spoke in King James days.
hey says there are no biblical speakers from before 400 bc he says, this is true ,but it is also true that Jews never stopped speaking biblical Hebrew. He should ask the class if any modern Jewish dialects of biblical Hebrew pronounce the ayin. the answer is yes.
I feel like he is really setting these poor guys up for failure seeing as how he chose an ancient Yemenite pronunciation of these words which is utilized by maybe 5% of the religious Jewish community. I’ve never seen or heard anyone speak or read Hebrew this way, either in Israel or in a synagogue.
I’ve studied extensively under Dr. Barrick and feel I can at least give you his reasoning. This is a class for a Christian Seminary. It’s very unlikely these men are going to be in a situation where knowing the more popular pronunciation/phonology is really going to be relevant. The Yemenite is used because it’s fairly(not completely) agreed upon that it’s the closest that remains to the pronunciation used at the time of The Tanakh’s writing. Additionally, the prevailing thought is that the Yemenite pronunciation connects the most closely to the proto-Sinaitic phonology, which many graduate students will be taking courses for in the future. Also, I believe he studied largely under Yemenite teachers while in Israel-making it the most familiar to him. He does make it very clear in class that if you use this pronunciation in Israel, you will be looked at like a fool. I’m not saying it’s the right or wrong choice, just giving the reasoning as I understand it. Plus, this lecture’s from a decade ago and I’m almost positive he’s long retired, so it’s an irrelevant discussion now anyway. Peace to you.
@@maxmauer3353 thanks for the explanation. Fascinating conversation and I applaud anyone who has a desire to study and learn this ancient and beautiful language. I am glad he had a long, successful career. Thanks again for your thoughts.
I am quite frustrated that in a beginning Hebrew class you use so many examples that are exceptions to the rule. Exceptions should be saved toward the end of the class after foundational understanding of the rules has been established.
Point still stands. If I were paying for it I'd say the same. I'm not complaining about the course only that when trying to grasp something new, exceptions to the rule do not aid in understanding for a beginner. If I were a teacher if want to know this info as well.
I'd say it's different pacing for different purposes. University classes in ancient languages are often very rushed, since they want you to "know" all the grammar in the language after just one year or even one semester of study. So you often get a large "info dump" rather than having information spread out nicely with practice work in between. In a high school class (let's say, Latin language), the grammar would be spread out over maybe five or six years, so you'd get lots of easy examples to work through that gradually get harder, gradually introducing more and more exceptions as you get used to the grammar rules. And if I were teaching primary school, I'd space things out even more and have every step broken down into smaller components. University students are generally more tolerant to being crammed full of information because they chose the subject of their own volition and are really motivated to learn. In summary, I think it's hard to squeeze in the amount of time it would take for good comfortable pacing, gradual learning of new grammar rules, into a tertiary course in which students want to (and are expected to) start reading directly from the Hebrew Bible in just one year or one semester.
Shewa is the "short i" sound as in Kit or Lit. It's not a short a sound as in cup. The short u sound is the kumatz. The patach or pasach is the Ah sound as in drAma. It's not like A as in cat. No Hebrew vowel makes the short A sound. (Born and raised Orthodox Jew here btw) These are the classic Ashkenazi and Yemenite pronunciations. The modern Hebrew (Israeli Ivrit) commandeered the modern Sephardic pronunciations that totally lost the Kumatz sound. It's all Patach (Pasach), ah. The Uh sound in modern Sephardic pronunciation is the shortening of the cholem sound in the word עולם which should be pronounced OH-lum but is instead pronounced Uh-lom.
I think he is pronouncing the ancient hebrew alphabet rather than the modern, he made it clear in Lesson 1. Also remember he had students who did not know and you cannot go from alphabet to complex grammar in 5 Lessons.
Good explanation but don't you think if YHWH wanted vowel points they would have been there? Zep 3:9 “For then I shall turn unto the peoples a clean lip, b so that they all call on the Name of יהוה, to serve Him with one shoulder. Footnote: b Or language.
Dr. Bill Barrick has mentioned that Paleo-Hebrew and Proto-Sinaitic are synonymous in previous videos. There is a one-to-one correspondence between the meanings of the names of the Hebrew characters and the pictorial representations of the Proto-Sinaitic pictograms.
Sorry I wrote 200 instead od 2000 when ProtoSinaityic did not exist, and there is absolutely no correspondence between Hebrew and such languages, different is that a letter of the Hebrew MAY correspond and not one to one to symbols of other languages, but to say that 2000 year, or even 4000 it was the same language....probably they spoke egyptian (as Mosheà was egyptian). Simply that language did not exist, thus what language was speaking Shaul, Moshe, Avraham ....not the Hebrew, not aramaic, not ....
@@adrianositizano So, you're saying that the pronunciations began with the Masoretes? You have problems. That would be an untenable scholarly position.
@@adrianositizano I actually apologize for being rude. I don't believe that there's anyway I'm wrong as of right now, but I don't really enjoy arguing that much. So, let's agree to disagree.
+tygerts He has an Ashkenazi pronunciation to his words. It says it in the footnote in his workbook. I have learned BH from native Israeli speakers, and they do not subscribe to this method of pronunciation.
+tygerts let me further add this bit. "A Grammar of Biblical Hebrew" by Jouon & Muraoka states in a footnote that the Naqdanim (Masoretes) only had one pronunciation for the A sound.
YHVH is not ever pronounced in Judaism, this is a lie. It was pronounced in ancient times when the temple stood but the practice ended with the destruction of the Temple because only the high priest spoke the name YHVH. Religious Jews won't ever say YHVY they will say Adonai in prayer and if God's name is spoken in casual conversation they say HaShem.
The original texts of the Hebrew Bible did not have niqqud. Viwels from "Adonai" were added to the Tetragrammaton in manuscripts to remind the reader to say "Adonai" instead of trying to pronounce the Name of God, as was the practice developed among the Jews. Also, how can it be "Yeh"-ovah if "Yah" is the consistent pronunciation of the first part of the Tetragrammaton when it is used separately, or in words like "Hallelujah"?

No religious Jew anywhere will say G-d's name. It's always pronounced ado-nai. It's deeply offensive to say that it's only heretical Jews won't pronounce it. No Jew should pronounce it and no Jew will pronounce it. It was only pronounced in the past on Yom Kippur by the Kohen Hagadol in the Kadosh Kadoshim.

Luke 17:29-30 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 EVEN THUS SHALL IT BE IN THE DAY WHEN THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED. SAD THING WE ARE IN THE WRATH AND PEOPLE DON'T EVEN KNOW IT THE SON OF MAN changed forms all the time John 1:14 14 And THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the ONLY [UNIQUE ONE OF A KIND] Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. NOW YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND HOW THE SON OF MAN COULD CHANGE FORMS AND BECOME 3 PEOPLE THEN ONE PERSON YET THE FATHER SAID THIS MY SON LISTEN TO HIM! THIS IS WHY HE SAID PETER HAD NO IDEAL WHAT HE HAD SAID BECAUSE THE SON OF MAN WAS SHOWING THREE FORMS OF HIMSELF. The Transfiguration (This is the Apostles witnessing the Kamo of the Messiah) LUKE 9: 28 Now about eight days after these sayings he took with him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray. 29 And as he was praying, THE APPEARANCE OF HIS FACE WAS ALTERED (another, some other), and his clothing became dazzling white. 30 And behold, TWO MEN WERE TALKING TO HIM, Moses and Elijah, 31 who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. 32 Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, but when they became fully awake they saw his glory and the two men who stood with him. 33 And as the men were parting from him, Peter said to Yahusha, “Master, it is good that we are here. Let us make THREE TENTS, three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah”-NOT KNOWING WHAT HE SAID. 34 As he was saying these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. 35 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to him!” 36 And when the voice had spoken, Yahusha WAS FOUND ALONE. And they kept silent and told no one in those days anything of what they had seen. MARK 16:12 SHOWS US THE SON OF MAN CHANGES FORMS Mark 16:12 12 After these things he appeared in ANOTHER FORM ( G3444 outward appearance) to two of them, as they were walking into the country. ELOHIM speaks to mankind through the mouth of prophets many times. Yahusha called Himself, Son of man. Yahusha represented ELOHIM the Father to mankind by having YHVH’s Spirit upon him and speaking the words of YHVH to people. Luke 3:22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him IN BODILY FORM, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven, “YOU ARE MY BELOVED SON; WITH YOU I AM WELL PLEASED.”
Are The Man-Made Vowel-Marks Inspired, Or Corrupting Influences? The Hebrew scholars of today fully defend the uninspired vowel manipulations that have corrupted the phonology of Hebrew. The Hebrew letters as they were originally written without these vowel marks enable future generations to “call” on the Name (see Psalm 102:18), but the Masoretes’ niqqud marks were designed to do the opposite. They divert a reader away from pronouncing the Name. They have caused great damage to the language, and caused His people to “howl.” (see YashaYahu 52:5, also Psalm 2)
Honest question, sir: If we were to destroy all the Masoretic works as heresy, what texts would we draw a complete Tanakh from? Thank you and peace to you.
Keep in mind that the modern Hebrew has been distorted with other outside influences. The Responsible party that twisted the letter alef (A) into ayin (E), was by a Karaite sect called the Masoretes. This same sect began with Anan Ben David in 767 CE/AD, this sect of Masoretes (traditionalists) did not want anyone uttering the true Name YOD-HAY-UAU-HAY as "Yahuah," so they invented vowel distortions with niqqud and cantillation marks to train those reading Hebrew to mispronounce words. ALAHIM (or ALAHYM) became "ELOHIM." YAHU became YEHO. They left the name ABRAHIM alone for some unknown reason, otherwise it would be EBRAHIM today. The Hebrew root "AL" (ALEF-LAMED) became "EL." This root is not a name of any kind, it is a pronoun implying lofty, upward, highness, strength, mightiness, etc. The Israeli airline EL-AL means to go + upward. EL-AL is spelled ayin-lamed (EL) + alef-lamed (AL). YAHUAH ALAHIM fully translated means: "I WAS, I AM, I WILL BE (your) MIGHTY ONE." Conclusion: What is a vowel, or a better question would be, what's the basic & actual meaning of a vowel,? Answer: A speech sound produced without occluding, diverting, or obstructing the flow of air from the lungs. The modern letter V would not be according to the definition stated above, however the letter V back then was equal to our much modern letter U, an example would be, the arch of Titvs, today that would be, the arch of Titus. Also the letter W is also somewhat a modern letter, otherwise it's just that, A Double UU! So technically the common word known as noun, could be spelled nown, otherwise phonetically they would sound the same etc. Anyway, the vowels ALEF, AYIN, HAY, YOD, UAU of Hebrew are written down to be sounded letters. These became the Greek and Latin vowels we use in English, A E I O U. Yusef Ben MattithYahu (aka Flavius Josephus) said He saw the Name written in four Hebrew vowels (not the Aramaic script mistakenly called “modern Hebrew”). All written letters represent sounds. I submit the Masoretes (traditionalists) and their attempted alterations cannot be trusted! Due to the Masoretes, we inherited the idea it is ELI, giving the form ELIYAHU (aka Elijah). The true Hebrew name is ALIYAHU. The ALEF-LAMED is best transliterated as AL, not so much as EL.
I'm 84 years old and I'm delighted to find these lectures. I've wanted to learn Biblical Hebrew for years. Thank you Dr Barrick!

Awesome thank
you so much. Big help.

As a Witness, learning Biblical Hebrew has improved my overall appreciation for all Scripture and ministry - thank you ❤
Asking those in class questions is priceless for the viewers... Thanks classmates!
I’m 76. I have always wantend to learn Hebrew. Just started and am very much helped by these videos. Knowing the grammar has Made me understand quicker the sentences I read in the Hebrew Bible . So thank you very much for these video’s.

1:08:25 Genesis 1:1
When introducing the vocal shewa, this video says that it occurs after the "full letter vowels" - obviously different to mere "long vowels". But at 45:46, in the first example where we need to identify whether the shewa is vocal or silent, we're told that it's vocal because it follows a "long vowel", which made be very confused, and I consulted my notes and the recording multiple times. What exactly is the rule that tells me that this shewa is a vocal shewa? Is it only "full letter vowels" which produce vocal shewas after them, or "long vowels" too?
great syllabification ? lecture 28:30 ' .start of shewas, 40' starts syllabification.
Are these for audio download anywhere? (was converting them all, which is time consuming but worth it, only if audio download isn't available anywhere)
Thanks for this lesson. At 56.11 he says the half vowel is hatuph seghol but he means hatuph patach
You right its. Hateph pathach
12:09 vowels
Achraf EL KOUHEN
Sephardim are not mixed with arabs. Ashkenazic r is the same as the slavic r. The recent german sounding r was only used by the the speakers of the german dialect of yiddish and by the Sephardic jews who spoke french daily
so do you just not use a dagesh forte with the "bagadkafat" letters?
Does anyone know what the transliteration is for pathach with a concluding yod that makes the "eye" or long i sound? I may figure out what it is before long in this lecture series, but I'll ask here just in case.
Why is shin (ש) doubled in ha-shamayim (השמים)?
Well i do not know but i can give 2 thoughts:
1- it is a exception to the rule and it is pronounced once (it might be because it is the first letter of the word)
2- it has to do with the sound "sh", the letter is doubled, but the sound "sh" seems to not want to be seperated.
Today I learned I am selectively an auditory, visual, kinesthetic and plain trial by error learner.
Our Simple Story yeah; walk around saying Good Shabbeth and see where that gets you lol
Exceptions should be saved toward the end of the class after foundational understanding of the rules has been established.
this is a class you would normally have to pay for, and your getting it for FREE
Point still stands. If I were paying for it I'd say the same. I'm not complaining about the course only that when trying to grasp something new, exceptions to the rule do not aid in understanding for a beginner. If I were a teacher if want to know this info as well.
oh, I see what you mean.
יגר שהדותא: is pronounced with a sin not shin
Lesson 4 and still on the alphabet which he himself cannot pronounce properly!
I think he is pronouncing the ancient hebrew alphabet rather than the modern, he made it clear in Lesson 1. Also remember he had students who did not know and you cannot go from alphabet to complex grammar in 5 Lessons.

But if this Moshè wrote this Torah like Barrick says, did he write it in Hebrew? 200 years before the language was spoken? A miracle?
@@adrianositizano And by the way, Proto-Sinaitic did exist then. We have archaeological examples of Proto-Sinaitic that date back to 1600-2000 B.C.

The patach isn't pronounced like a in pass. It's more like a in father. Pronouncing it like a in pass is a common mistake for anglophones.
+tygerts He is teaching the ancient pronunciation which is different from the qametz.
Interesting. How awesome would it be to actually hear an ancient native speaker.
Hebrew is really boring I’m taking Hebrew at Midwestern Baptist seminary
Yud-hei is YAH, but out of respect for hashems name not speaking the second part
Sir, have you stubbled over that Adoni vowels as being made up. And that texts are popping up from long ago and it IS YeHoVah, and not Yaweh

Your opinion is irrelevant

Daniel 12 : 5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. 6 One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?” 7 The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. 👉WHEN THE POWER OF THE HOLY PEOPLE HAS FINALLY BROKEN, ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE COMPLETED. 👈 8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?” 9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. NONE OF THE WICKED WILL UNDERSTAND, BUT THOSE WHO ARE WISE WILL UNDERSTAND.
John 3:13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one WHO CAME FROM HEAVEN -the 👉 “SON OF MAN👈.
THIS IS WHY THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS ARE ONLY UP UNTIL JOHN THE SON OF MAN HAS ALREADY DELIVERED YHVH’S WORDS OVER GENERATIONS AS THE PROPHET THAT CAME AND WENT & NOW THE SON OF MAN IS AMONG THEM TRYING TO EXPLAIN THIS. THEY DON’T WANT YHVH’S WORDS THOUGH AND HE IS TELLING THEM IT IS EASIER FOR HEAVEN AND EARTH TO PASS AWAY THAN ON STROKE OF THAT WORD TO FALL(G4098 to perish, i.e come to an end, disappear, cease).
.
Luke 16:16 “The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of ELOHIM is preached, and everyone FORCES HIS WAY INTO IT . 17 “And it is easier for the heaven and the earth to pass away than for one STROKE of the Torah to fall (G4098 to perish, i.e come to an end, disappear, cease).
EXODUS 33: 17 And YHVH said to Moses, “This very thing that you have spoken I will do, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.” 18 Moses said, “Please show me your glory.” 19 And he said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name ‘YHVH.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. 20 But,” he said, “YOU CANNOT SEE MY FACE, FOR MAN SHALL NOT SEE ME AND LIVE."” 21 And YHVH said, “Behold, there is a place by me where you shall stand on the rock, 22 and while my glory passes by I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with my hand until I have passed by. 23 Then I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back, but my face shall not be seen.”
IF NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN ELOHIM THEN HOW DID JACOB SEE HIM AND LIVE? BECAUSE JACOB WAS ALSO A KAMO OF THE SON OF MAN
Genesis 32:30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying, “FOR I HAVE SEEN ELOHIM FACE TO FACE, YET MY LIFE HAS BEEN DELIVERED."
IF NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN ELOHIM THEN HOW DID ISAIAH SEE HIM? BECAUSE ISAIAH WAS ALSO A KAMO OF THE SON OF MAN
Isaiah 6:1-8
6 In the year that King Uzziah died I saw YHVH sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train[a] of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one called to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is YHVH of hosts;
the whole earth is full of his glory!”
4 And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; FOR I AM A MAN OF UNCLEAN LIPS; AND I DWELL IN THE MIDST OF A PEOPLE OF UNCLEAN LIPS; FOR MY EYES HAVE SEEN THE KING, YHVH OF HOSTS!"
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 And he touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; YOUR GUILT IS TAKEN AWAY, AND YOUR SIN ATONED FOR."
8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “HERE I AM" SEND ME."
IF NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN ELOHIM THEN HOW DID MANOAH SEE HIM AND LIVE? BECAUSE MANOAH WAS ALSO A KAMO OF THE SON OF MAN
JUDGES 13: 8
Then Manoah prayed to YHVH and said, “O YHVH, please let THE MAN OF ELOHIM WHOM YOU SENT COME AGAIN TO TEACH US WHAT WE ARE TO DO WITH THE CHILD WHO WILL BE BORN." 9 And ELOHIM listened to the voice of Manoah, and the MESSENGER OF ELOHIM CAME AGAIN to the woman as she sat in the field. But Manoah her husband was not with her. 10 So the woman ran quickly and told her husband, “Behold, THE MAN WHO CAME TO ME THE OTHER DAY HAS APPEARED TO ME." 11 And Manoah arose and went after his wife and came to the man and said to him, “ARE YOU THE MAN WHO SPOKE TO THIS WOMAN? And he said, “I AM." 12 And Manoah said, “Now when your words come true, what is to be the child's manner of life, and what is his mission?” 13 And the MESSENGER OF YHVH said to Manoah, “Of all that I said to the woman let her be careful. 14 She may not eat of anything that comes from the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, or eat any unclean thing. All that I commanded her let her observe.”
15 Manoah said to the MESSENGER OF YHVH , “Please let us detain you and prepare a young goat for you.” 16 And the MESSENGER OF YHVH said to Manoah, “If you detain me, I will not eat of your food. But if you prepare a burnt offering, THEN OFFER IT TO YHVH.” (FOR MANOAH DID NOT KNOW THAT HE WAS THE MESSENGER OF YHVH ) 17 And Manoah said to the MESSENGER OF YHVH , “What is your name, so that, when your words come true, we may honor you?” 18 And the MESSENGER OF YHVH said to him, “Why do you ask my name, SEEING IT IS WONDERFUL?” 19 So Manoah took the young goat with the grain offering, and offered it on the rock to YHVH, TO THE ONE WHO WORKS WONDERS, and Manoah and his wife were watching. 20 And when the flame went up toward heaven from the altar, the MESSENGER OF YHVH WENT UP IN THE FLAME OF THE ALTAR. Now Manoah and his wife were watching, and they fell on their faces to the ground.

IF NO ONE HAS EVER GONE TO HEAVEN THEN HOW DID ELIJAH GO? BECAUSE ELIJAH WAS ALSO A KAMO OF THE SON OF MAN
John 3:13
NO ONE HAS EVER
GONE INTO HEAVEN
EXCEPT THE ONE
WHO CAME FROM HEAVEN
THE “SON OF MAN”

EXODUS 33: 20 But,” he said, “YOU CANNOT SEE MY FACE, FOR MAN SHALL NOT SEE ME AND LIVE."

MOSES MEANS SON IN HEBREW
Deuteronomy 5:24
24 And you said, ‘Behold, YHVH our ELOHIM has shown us his glory and greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. This day we have seen ELOHIM SPEAK WITH MAN, AND MAN STILL LIVE.
25 Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear the voice of YHVH our ELOHIM any more, WE SHALL DIE. 26 FOR WHO IS THERE OF ALL FLESH, THAT HAS HEARD THE VOICE OF THE LIVING ELOHIM SPEAKING OUT OF THE MIDST OF FIRE AS WE HAVE, AND STILL LIVED?
THE SON OF MAN DID
John 5:36-38
36 But THE TESTIMONY THAT I HAVE IS GREATER THAN THAT OF JOHN. FOR THE WORKS THAT THE FATHER HAS GIVEN ME TO ACCOMPLISH, THE VERY WORKS I AM DOING, BEAR WITNESS ABOUT ME THAT THE FATHER HAS SENT ME. 37 And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. HIS VOICE YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD, HIS FORM YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN, 38 AND YOU DO NOT HAVE HIS WORD ABIDING IN YOU, FOR YOU DO NOT BELIEVE THE ONE WHOM HE SENT.
*******************************************************************
John 5:39
You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and IT IS THEY THAT BEAR WITNESS ABOUT ME
40 YET YOU REFUSE TO COME TO ME THAT YOU MAY HAVE LIFE,41 I DO NOT RECEIVE GLORY FROM THE PEOPLE. 42 But I know that you do not have the love of ELOHIM within you. 43 I HAVE COME IN MY FATHER'S NAME AND YOU DO NOT RECEIVE ME. THOUGH ANOTHER COMES IN HIS OWN NAME, YOU WILL RECEIVE HIM.
44 How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from THE ONLY ELOHIM? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, on whom you have set your hope. 46 FOR IF YOU BELIEVED MOSES YOU WOULD BELIEVE ME; FOR HE WROTE OF ME. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”
Luke 24:27
27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things CONCERNING HIMSELF.
IN DANIEL 8:17 AGAIN THIS IS YHVH LETTING THE SON OF MAN KNOW WHAT ALL WILL HAPPEN AND IT IS NO WONDER IT MADE HIM VIOLENTLY SICK
Daniel 8:17 So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell on my face. But he said to me, “Understand, O 👉SON OF MAN 👈, that the vision is for the time of the end.”
Leviticus 17:11 For the life (IE SOUL) of the flesh IS IN THE BLOOD, and I HAVE GIVEN IT FOR YOU ON THE ALTAR TO MAKE ATONEMENT FOR YOUR SOULS, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life (IE SOUL).
WHOSE BLOOD CRIES FROM THE GROUND TO YHVH NOW?
Revelation 16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and YOU HAVE GIVEN THEM BLOOD TO DRINK. IT IS WHAT THEY DESERVE!"
Luke 17:29-30 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 EVEN THUS SHALL IT BE IN THE DAY WHEN THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED.
SAD THING WE ARE IN THE WRATH AND PEOPLE DON'T EVEN KNOW IT
THE SON OF MAN changed forms all the time
John 1:14
14 And THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the ONLY [UNIQUE ONE OF A KIND] Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
The Transfiguration
(This is the Apostles witnessing the Kamo of the Messiah)
LUKE 9: 28 Now about eight days after these sayings he took with him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
MARK 16:12 SHOWS US THE SON OF MAN CHANGES FORMS
Mark 16:12
12 After these things he appeared in ANOTHER FORM ( G3444 outward appearance) to two of them, as they were walking into the country.
ELOHIM speaks to mankind through the mouth of prophets many times. Yahusha called Himself, Son of man. Yahusha represented ELOHIM the Father to mankind by having YHVH’s Spirit upon him and speaking the words of YHVH to people.
Luke 3:22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him
IN BODILY FORM, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven,
“YOU ARE MY BELOVED SON; WITH YOU I AM WELL PLEASED.”
They have caused great damage to the language, and caused His people to “howl.”
(see YashaYahu 52:5, also Psalm 2)
Honest question, sir: If we were to destroy all the Masoretic works as heresy, what texts would we draw a complete Tanakh from? Thank you and peace to you.
This is terrible. Better to learn by beginning to read and learning word forms and constructs.
The Hebrew root "AL" (ALEF-LAMED) became "EL."
This root is not a name of any kind, it is a pronoun implying lofty, upward, highness, strength, mightiness, etc.
The Israeli airline EL-AL means to go + upward. EL-AL is spelled ayin-lamed (EL) + alef-lamed (AL).
YAHUAH ALAHIM fully translated means:
"I WAS, I AM, I WILL BE (your) MIGHTY ONE."
Conclusion:
What is a vowel, or a better question would be, what's the basic & actual meaning of a vowel,?
These became the Greek and Latin vowels we use in English,
A E I O U.
Damn what a boaring teaching Smh
