On the front it is easier to just take the bolt out of the bottom ball joint and one of the biggest things with working on anything is keeping your cool

To center that snap ring, I always center it in place with some grease. Works wonders.

One of the most handy things I’ve bought is a magnetic tray for all the nuts & bolts.

Replacing the rear driveshaft u-joints involves pulling the rear diff back to remove the driveshaft. Would unbolting and pulling the rear diff back possibly give enough movement to have pulled the axle out of the housing?

I never understood why they only run one rear brake... These things are not known for being fun to work on lol. Make sure you torque your axle nuts to the recommended torque spec, not sure if you did, but it's important.

You didn't mention why you replaced all 4 axles. Was it just preventative? Did you snap one? Or did the 2.5" bracket lift kit cause axle problems?

Do a radiator relocation mod same time you do bushings then you only move rad one time 😉
