I got to stop into the shop yesterday while visiting from Oklahoma. Chatted with Andy for a little bit mid day, him and the whole team marine crew are great people. I respect the opinion of someone who's been in the industry for so long and he gives the most up to date info he can on products. I definitely recommend going into a local repair shop and getting their opinion since they've got experience working on all type of boats and accessories.
The need for a hoodie and hat this time of year is a clear sign it’s not a place anyone should live in lol. Just pickin. Lots of people like snow and that’s ok with me. Nice video Andy. Love getting the notice when a video drops. Keep ‘em coming. Needed to add that this is the best channel for boats/boating on the planet, period. Fuck, I don’t even own a Fuckin boat anymore and I like watching this channel. Love the irreverent, in your face attitude especially when you do reviews of manufacturers because of 1 single thing over all others: you’re honest. Not a lot of that in the boating world and being the same age as you, I’ve owned/been around boating a while, seen tons of junk being sold as the latest and greatest and to a man, not one of em told the truth, just their version of it. I love the fact that even after you’ve tested a boat with the manufacturers along, you STILL got the balls to be honest and don’t back down. I’m now currently back in the hunt for a new boat, however I got a great builder right up the road, GatorTrax, and will be having them build one for me in the spring. Nothing fancy, no 250 hanging on the back. Anyhow, rambling over, nice job Andy.
I recommend the rite hite motor holder way less than the a dd26 and does the job plus incluse the steering clips for only $36 have had mine for 3 years now.
Power poles I had just seemed to be much loader then Raptors. After 3 years of cleaning pumps working on bearings etc I went to Raptors. One year in and no issues yet..
I agree dd26 products 5 star and their support also! Andy how do I find a marine service center near ca delta that I can get quality service on my 2021suzuki 200df. Last one didn't even put the motor cowling on correctly. Even though it's an authorized repair shop, how do I know it's done and not just a box checked?
Without a doubt one of the BEST things I've put on my bass boat. Loading and unloading by myself is ridiculously easy. When I upgraded to the drotto I also upgraded my bunks to gatorbak. Slides on and off like it's on wheels but holds great when backing.
Im gonna add something to the trailer. Everything Andy said is great but i would suggest buy an aluminum trailer. Its worth every penny. No its not pretty but it'll get you to the launch everytime for your entire lifetime. I dont know about yall but i would rather be chasin that double digit bass or giant redfish rather than fighting with a steel trailer. I did that already 😢
@@TeamMarineService I just can’t see how the pipes on the trim unit keeps the transom from getting beat up during towing. Seems to me it doesn’t help reduce any weight/stress on the transom.
@@catlifeoutdoors6369I've wondered this too, I thought the point was to take some of the stress off the transom? One from the trailer to the motor would be best I think.
Zac is a great name! Looking forward to the next blast from the past....what about an old Earl Triton, I know you hate em but hold value.....Lots of repowered TR21/20 X down here
@@TeamMarineService that doesn't say why though. I'm leaning towards putting talons on because they're less in the way in the water once deployed and they don't require a hydraulic pump, oil ect
If you were a boat builder, your bass boat would cost $200K. Everything that you promote is always the most expensive in the category and everything else you consider junk. I believe that most of the time you get what you pay for but saying buying the most expensive everything isn't realistic advice. I am sure if someone made a $1K battery tray system it would be superior to everything else but is it good value?
After being in the industry for 25+ years you get tired of seeing all of the junk products. If that 1k battery tray was the best then yes I’d go for that. We are here to promote the BEST products!
If you don't like what Andy is promoting, quit watching his stuff. QUIT YOUR BITCHIN'. We'd like to know what is the best so we can make our choices........SIMPLE!!! Andy, keep doing what you do. We love ya
The video was titled the best in 2023, I assumed (along with everyone else) that the “best” probably would include top dollar as well. Kinda like going to a Ford lot and asking for the best Mustang. There’s an anemic 4banger all the way up to gt500, the shitty 4banger is $30k, but the best one is the the gt500 at $100k. Follow?
Yes, Andy promotes American made quality products that work and last. In the long run, it saves people their hard earned money. Big Box stores love people like you who prefer CHEAP CHINESE CRAP, so they can under pay their employees and pocket your money as profits. #SadStateWeAreIn

Priceless. Noy going to lie, love your commentary had me rolling
Glad you enjoyed it George!
Great video. Happy winterizing from nw Iowa 👊.
Andy your intro is the best!!!!
The thumbnail is priceless

Great video brother
For as much as you say Shit, I really thought you would've went over Cottenelle vs Charmin. Every boat needs a roll!
🤣🤣🤣Truth!!!
He’s right about the trollers and brackets.
Have you ever been around Uflex steering?
I also recommend drewcraft seat pedestal plugs.
Great video as always. What’s your take on the Motor Mate transom saver? Vs the trailer one? Always a big topic of discussion…. I have used both.
I recommend the rite hite motor holder way less than the a dd26 and does the job plus incluse the steering clips for only $36 have had mine for 3 years now.
GO INFO I LIKED IT
Power poles I had just seemed to be much loader then Raptors. After 3 years of cleaning pumps working on bearings etc I went to Raptors. One year in and no issues yet..
Merch to sweden??? We need it🤩
After seeing that big boat, I’m curious about your knowledge on larger boats considering I work, mostly on sterndrives, inboards and fancy toons.

Drotto boat latch. Are they any good??

What's up Andy!!! You 🎯 targeting the trolling motor guy☹️🥵 how about trolling motor prop battle🤔😬 Just asking Boss!!!🤓 Still Loving the content👍
Trick step custom for most Bass boat trailers
It’s hard to beat power poles service

Great fawkin video
I’m surprised you missed transom saver. Or as some use the pipes over the trim cylinder
We briefly discussed them after motor totes. Basically any ol’ style transom saver will work
@@TeamMarineService I just can’t see how the pipes on the trim unit keeps the transom from getting beat up during towing. Seems to me it doesn’t help reduce any weight/stress on the transom.

Ionic makes a good battery tray
Ok, my steering lock has gotten soft and will not hold my motor. The transom mount is good.
I have to grease my Bob’s every other trip
Son! The Best marine accessories are reefer and poontang. the real deal
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I second that 😂

Cornfield
How about those hydrofoil things that people put on? I’m not a fan but a couple of people in my bass club swear by them.
My super expensive Allison trailer that I had made custom has flexible trick steps. Why is that. They are nice, but they should be tight
Sea star blowing seals seems an issue
Boatlogix
Kinda surprised (kinda not) he’s not a fan of the remote drain plug.
Had one break because its cheap plastic turned into a manual plug needed pliers to take out
Why don't I see more Talons out there?
Because they aren’t up to par with power poles or raptors
@@TeamMarineService that doesn't say why though. I'm leaning towards putting talons on because they're less in the way in the water once deployed and they don't require a hydraulic pump, oil ect
You missed the crappie brakes. They will be BIG JACK. Trust me
I love my dd26 Motor Tote! Never will I ever buy another. .. unless some crack head steals it!!
You need to do your research before you buy accessories for your boat and trailer.
Trailer parts for sure not naming any places but way overpriced
