- I wanted to call this one "Quack Quack, Maddafakka!" but UA-cam would have had me publicly crucified. They have absolutely no sense of humour over there.

A Tirpitz player sailing in between two battleships is the WoWS equivalent of a KV-5 player finding himself at the top of the hill in Himmelsdorf...win or lose, it's going to be a glorious day!🤣🤣
Been there, done that, and yes it was glorious. Especially when my friend and I went up that hill both in KV-5's. 😂
Those KV5 videos are almost a decade old
On a lower tier, Me in my Agincourt sailing in between two enemy battleships, secondaries hammering away, not even bothering to fire my main battery.
Especially if it has two FCM 50t's giving it a boost: choo-choo, muddafukka!!!
What a day! What a lovely day! WITNESSED!
6:48 "what if the Scharnhorst survived until 1943"
Never change Jingles, Scharnhorst actually survived until then, being sunk in December 1943
Colorado and Scharnhorst, "Oh, you're approaching us, instead of running away you're actually coming closer?"
Lord Quack, "This ain't anime," launches torpedo, "Dodge this."
@@NoNameAtAll2 Missed that, thanks. To every one else reading this, you can guess which one I spelled wrong.
@@In10tionL thank you o7
you're awesome
Colorado and Scharnhorst: *_"NANI?!!!"_*
Ackshually Jingles the Scharnhorst did survive until 1943. Until boxing day 1943 to be precise.
Back to the salt mines with ye.
@@117steveng thank you, I always wanted a double shift
@@Thunder-54321 Lower levels! Yes sir! 🫡 Hi, ho!

Jingles "Is that another flood?"
*Narrator*: It was not.

back to the salt mines with yee
@@xel1206 clearly it was hot, dry, above the waterline floods
who gave you permission to take a break in the salt mines? double shift for you and half rations!
I heard the Arrested Development music in my head after reading that.
No Jingles, the Scharnhorst was still not designed as a commerce raider she was designed to counter the french fast battleships. The they planned to fit the bigger 380 mm guns at a later date, which were still in development at the time, but that never materialized. Gneisenau was also never fitted with her 380 mm guns IRL. They employed her as a commerce raider because they had no other productive task for her, given how outnumbered the Kriegsmarine was.
Technically Bismarck and Tirpitz were commerce raiders, Hitler planned to deploy them into the North Atlantic to raid British convoys. That was how Hood and PoW encountered her to begin with. Tirpitz never saw real combat, though she was responsible for scattering a convoy because the British commander panicked.
I'm glad other people also know the real purpose of these ships.
"LordQuackKingOfTheDucks" at least he isn't the Potato King from Red Dwarf lol
"game over boys!"
Every once in a while, when people play their german bb's too sensibly, jingles just drops a german bb torpedo video and hops away cackling at the mayhem of weeks of bb captains playing like dd's.
There is a reason you can equip a DD camo on the Scharnhorst
Fast enough to run from anything that outgunned it...
HMS Hood, HMS Repulse, and HMS Renown entered the chat
Renown made them absolutely cry
By the end of 1941 two of those ships decorated the bottom of the ocean while Scharnhorst and Gneisenau happily sailed on for a time.
@Ushio01 yeah, and the one that made them absolutely cry was still trying to make them cry.
@@Ushio01 happily maybe is not the word RAF would use to describe how Scharnhorst and Gneisenau sailed
@😂javierg.b.6941
jingles, the scharnhorst 43 wasnt a concept, the scharnhorst survived until boxingday 1943, the scharnhorst 43 is the version of the sharnhorst that decorates the bottom of the atlantic off the coast of the north cape
I am not gonna say I do not roll my eyes on 7.624th time you introduce Sharnhorst, but I do still watch your vids every day :) Love you old man, take care of yourself
The shiny horst
Was just about to get up! Guess i’m in bed for another 12 minutes 😂
Same 🤣
Saaaaaaaaaame
A bit quick but fun to watch especially the end 😂
And it is high time to earn my extra shifts for today:
5:00 "I'm pretty sure that were some torpedoes from the Chumphon there" as Lord Quack's torpedoes slam into the wreck of the Gallant.
EDIT: I just read the description of this video 🤣🤣
Scharnhorst: "It was fast enough to outrun anything that outgunned it" - Renown, Repulse, and Hood would like a word.
ACTUALLY Jingles xD those were fires that killed them xD but we can stick with flooding damage xD
Nice save, but I think you still need count on an extra shift or two in the Salt Mines 😉
No floods where harmed in the making of this video. Jingles never change 😂
Lord Quack, King of the Eiders and the Rouens and the First Mallards, Lord of the Seven Farmyards and Protector of the Poultry.
Just so long as he isn't a doctor.
Battleship with torpedos that actually remembers they have guns and armour too and not just the torpedos?? Truely a miracle
Gotta love the floods killing the two BBs without our protagonist getting the flood ribbon :)
Sailing between two battleships like that... Hnnn the dream
Got Nick from Fat Electrician running through my head now... "Quackbang out"
Nice game by the Aviere. Good comms, played the objective and didn't die.
This sacrifice-yourself-to-get-two-successful-torpedo-attacks bit was originally performed by the Pegasus in the original Battlestar Galactica TV series which first aired in 1978. Look for the episode named "Living Legend." The ship cruises between two Cylon base stations which are bearing down on the fleeing humans and under tremendous fire launches a salvo of missiles from each side destroying the two base stations and clearing the way for Galactica to escape with the fugitive human fleet.
Quack Quack got those last 2 BB's to punch his ticket.
Well played good sir!
Thanks Jingles and hello from Canada!
As King of the Chickens, I fully support the promotion of fowl Royalty.
😂
I call fowl play!
Frequent viewers of Drachnifel's channel know this name well.🦆🦆
Yep, almost as well as the one who torments Drach with the insanely long alliterations
This must be the NA server... a BB asks a DD to head to a different cap, and he's not told to F Off... definitely NA
Ahh Jingles. One of the few UA-camrs who gets a like from me on his video before even the first note of the intro plays.
I will always like the Shiny Horse and I prefer the description of the Scharnhorst below over anyone elses.
"The Scharnhorst is a Tier VII Premium German ship that earns the reputation by being literally everything!"
Thank you Mr. J. for the awesome replay! Also, Thank you to Lord Quack for sending it in! Epic win! Quack, quack, bang, bang!
That was a good one
Ah, I remember back... 7 or 8 years ago when I was new and found myself very surprised by getting torpedoed by a battleship.
Nowadays... you need to expect every ship you've never heard of before to have torpedoes, radar, smokescreen, hydro, and reload boosters. It doesn't matter what class of ship, if you don't know what it is, just assume it has all of that.
Jingles you are always my man. You bring unbiased gaming
Wow. Just wow. Thank you Jingles!
Ahh... the majestic space duck
Fires are now floods? 🤣🤣🤣
Oh Jingles never change!
The Fat Electrician playing Warships now? 🦆💥👉
Wrt, the origin of the Scharnhorst class:
They were a sort of continuation of the Deutschlands. Germany was building against France and France circa 1930 had slow BB and not well armored CA. The pocket BB was fine, or seemed so. Next up, an improved version of it, the Panzerschiff D.
But oh crap, the Dunkirk class. Very clearly pocket BB killers. So Germany went to building full battleships, with the most powerful guns at hand. That just happened to be the improved 11".
Where's Britain in all of this? Not on Germany's radar because building against France.
The Royal Navy had three to for battlecruisers that could easily enter and win a stand up fight.
Brings back fond(?) memories of when Tirpitz was introduced and you had 5 on each team trying to do double drive by attacks
As much as Jingles likes to rag on the Gneisenau, I will say that I've done pretty well with it in various battles, and yes, the torpedoes are a nice thing when the enemy player forgets that it has them.
Hi Jingles
Love your videos Jingles. I hope you are doing well health-wise!
signature move - lol
that's a good one
When i first laid my hands on the Atago, back in 2015/2016ish.. i was stupid enough to not know what a Yamato could do.
So i charged 2 Yamatos, that were sailing side by side on the Iceberg map.
the slapped me hard, but i survived long enought o get between them and fire all of my launchers - 2 per side - at them killing them both (they weren't full health, and got shot at by pretty much everything our team had back then).
Wouldn't dare that today -but back then i had no idea :D and it was glorious
I've been on the USS Massachusetts!! It's a museum ship at Battleship Cove in Fall River Massachusetts.
Actually Jingles, I have managed to pull the two side double torpedo kill, with a Hipper in all things, back when I have still played about 6-7 years ago.
Bring on the shotgun :D
The torpedo tubes are the first thing which are getting destroyed when i sail my Tirpiz or Scharnhorst. It doesn't matter if i angle my ship or not.
Things that Sharnhorst and Gneisenau forgot about in the "designed for raiding north atlantic convoys and running away from any battleship" - Firstly keeping the water on the outside - they were terrible sea boats. Secondly HMS Hood, HMS Repulse and HMS Renown..... one of which would see the two of them off in World War 2... in WoWs they're underpowered of course.
Vicotry was claimed by the dd being sunk in the south by the way :-)!
I got the Tirpitz right when it came out. No one expected battleships with torpedoes back then. An opponent destroyer charged in through a smokescreen figuring aha he's got me, only to take two torpedoes in his face. My team erupted in Lol's.
Fair fight comment...
I've been doing martial arts for 40 years plus and I have a saying to my students. "If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics sucks". :-)
Jingles, I was yesterday in tirpitz museum in alta Norway. Amazing to see the relics and old photographs. And there was a picture on sharnhorst, taken from battleship tirpitz. It stood labeled as. - last known picture of battleship sharnhorst.
King of the ducks? with my handle duck_rubber, I must approve! 😂
I'd be willing to bet the reason the player names have been so good recently is there's been a lot of NA server replays. The NA Server has some of the best player names in any game I've ever played.
Kinda slow to trigger that heal at the end but it got him two flesh wound awards so... good job !
It has the benefit of being "Not what He Is Supposed To Do!". Takes guys by surprise some times. You said it, doesn't he have a nice safe island? Sure but that's not where the exp, credits and maybe most importantly the Glory is.
I did that same double Torpedo strike in a Tirpitz years ago. My only ever earned double strike.
I have to say, Jingles videos probably gets the most credit for me being a much better WoWs player because of tidbits of information and strategy.
Sailing between 2 battleships to kill them both with torpedoes, reminds me of an episode of the original Battlestar Galactica...
Just from my memory... That was the Pegasus doing it - right ?
@@Quartan284 Yep. Should we call this The Pegasus Maneuver?
Jingles, the Scharnhorst DID survive until 1943. She wasn’t sunk till the very end of the year at the Battle of North Cape
I love this kind of actions in my Sharni, but i rarely works :)
"I'm surrounded? Those poor bastards!"
Lmao 2 seconds ago
Anyway, howdy everyone!
Actually Jingles, that move was inspired by a Zao, on YOUR channel. Then the Tirpitz got to do it as well before the Gneisenau.
Hey jingles on the 11inch guns it wasn't like the Germans had a choice in the matter as it was the calibre they were limited too by treaty
Well, The King spoked!
I remember the Battlestar Galactica pulling this trick. Got it from a Gneisenau.
The Sharn.43 also has a speed boost.
I've never played this game. I've played WoTs. But love watching your commentary on gameplay. Cheers buddy. Hope you're fully recovered now? ❤
That Andrew Schultz joke at the beginning xD
Good afternoon Gnome Overlord. All the best.
The Gneisenau isn’t even bad. It’s a fun ship to play I find. Yes it’s inaccurate to a degree but it has a fast reload, the ship itself manoeuvres well it’s got toros and secondaries. It’s one of my favourite Tier 7
Excellent video old man
That name was quackers
Would always taking the aiming module instead of the secondary one for the classic Scharnhorst.
Jingles was right. This type game took place more often not that many years ago.
WoWS Legends has the Tears of the cruisers map and this one both lol
The torpedo rush is dangerous, because these stupid launchers get disabled or destroyed all the time. When you try this move there is a high chance you won't have any torpedoes anymore once you're close enough. And thenyou just die like a fool.
Red tracer? Why I do believe Lord Quack may actually have Gunther Lutjens as his captain.
LordQuack, if I'm not mistaken, is a regular appearance in Drachinifel's Drydocks
I fondly remember the first time watching a Gneisenau doing the double drive by in a Jingles vid.. I think that may have been 2017? 🤔
yep, totally did that with my gneisenau when i got it... ahhhh, good times! ;)
I am never gonna not argue that the Gneisenau is still the best T7 BB, and all T7 and 9 Ships have always been nought but mediocre at best.
The Gneisenau is pretty good, and so is the Scharnhorst.
It´s all about knowing what your ship is good at and what situations to create for yourself.
And then just go for it.
The amount of times i´ve seen BBs underestimating a cruiser and just getting slaughtered by the DPM after failing to quickly dispatch it as they hoped is mindboggling.
⚓
we sure lord quack isnt just flambass? cause that is a name i would absolutely expect from flambass
Did this once vs 3 ships and survived .. i wish i had that game recorded
All Hail Lord Quack!
"Lo there do I see my father..."
Imagine the Jingles comment section without the constant spammed cliché comments.
So what your saying Jingles. Is . . . the Scharnhorst. Is a German Government Sanctioned Pirate ship.
I did something similar to this with my Tirpitz last week
In this T6-7 ranked i have come to like Graf Spee. Had a really fun game yesterday, where i chased a Nelson around an Island on Ring (we where the last two ships) I got 25k hp, he had 2300, so the pocket batleship got to chase the real batleship. Yeah i got him.. to slow and to poor amored to resist 11" AP
Ducks Wars?
Excellent Battle!!!
Go Lord Quack!!!
good ending!
Yes the ending was worth it.
Hail Durulz!
Well played me duck 👍
He seems quackers
''On your knees, peasants!''
I was slightly disappointed at the lost potential of the title, then I saw the description.
Could have added the old "quack" Sound there somewehere Jingles 😋
