- Accsoon SeeMo will take your Switcher Studio live video productions to the next level!
Switcher Studio’s direct integration with Accsoon SeeMo lets you take any camera with an HDMI connection and use it seamlessly as a source in live video productions, making for a super versatile portable livestreaming rig.
Mirrorless cameras like the new Sony ZV-E1, Nikon Z 30, or Canon EOS R8, DSLRs, cinema cameras, GoPros, gaming consoles-if it has an HDMI output, you can use it in Switcher Studio. Make your content stand out with the amazing cameras you already have while including custom branded graphics, logos, multiviews, scoreboards, and all the Switcher Studio features you know and love.
Check out the Switcher Studio Help Center for a more in-depth tutorial on how to use Accsoon SeeMo with Switcher Studio: support.switch...
CORRECTION: In the video, we mention that Accsoon SeeMo cannot power iOS devices while connected. This is true for iPhones, but Accsoon SeeMo can send a charge through to USB-C iPads.
This is what we’ve been waiting for!!!!!
Finally a direct connect to dedicated cameras
Why this is a game changer
Mine will be here next week! I can’t wait to play with it!! Thank you SS
This is cool, but the big drawback as said in the video is the lack of phone charging. Great, we can tie in a pro camera (briefly), but I havent been on too many shoots where this didnt need to be on for hours.. and then we lose our iphone connection in the meantime when its battery runs out. It is almost there, but without iphone charging still essentially useless. they will need to update this model
The good news is that Accsoon has actually released an additional model, which does have charging capabilities! You can visit their site at accsoonusa.com/.
In the meantime, since the SeeMo adapter cannot be connected to any additional adapters, we recommend sufficiently charging any iOS devices prior to production. For longer productions, keeping backup iOS devices to swap with iOS devices with exhausted batteries will allow you to continue the production without interruption, so long as you have another camera angle to switch to while swapping iOS devices.
This is huuuuge OMG! YES!
Small update, the new black seemo WILL charge the device that you're going to use.
Finally guys. Now I can buy a nice camera
Wow this is great!
Amazing!!
🙏🏾🎉🔥
Great video Dan! Excited to unveil this partnership with Accsoon + Switcher.
Interesting!
Perfect!
I was really excited to try this out but when I got the Ascoon SeeMo home I realized that you can't get any audio out of the camera via the HDMI connection into Switcher Studio, it's a bit of a bummer really.
That is true at this point - you would still need to use a mixer and audio set-up to get sound from multiple sources for now. We appreciate the feedback and are sharing with our Product Team!
A great addition but as far as podcasting you would need to use the cameras microphone or external microphone since we can't use a rodecaster, zoom, or tascam. All of which I own and use(d) with SS. Still a great addition if you are doing IRL streaming with a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. Nice job. 💪🏾💪🏾
Just great
Wowww!!! 🎉
Well now there is price for the SeeMo ? and how can we use it.
Great question! The Accsoon SeeMo device is about $180 - you can find it on all major camera equipment retailers.
I live stream using my iPhone switcher studio seemo with video camera love the video quality but audio problem how can I use audio from the video camera not iPhone thanks
Hi there! You can learn more about how to get the proper set-up for incorporating additional audio sources here: support.switcherstudio.com/article/417-understanding-audio-options-with-switcher-studio.
While future plans include addressing the audio concern, currently the only way to include audio from sources other than the primary Switcher device is to have an additional audio set-up.
Question I cannot keep the battery charged long enough it seems to die out about every 15 minutes. How can I keep the charger going? Can I connect my SONY FX6 indi pro battery to the SeeMo to keep the battery charged?
Hi there! This may be a question that @Accsoon can better answer since it deals with the SeeMo hardware capabilities, but feel free to reach out to our customer support team directly at support@switchersudio.com with any questions you have about the integration with Switcher!
Find more information about how Switcher works with the Accsoon SeeMo here: support.switcherstudio.com/article/568-accsoon-seemo-adapter
I have a question: I bought the seemo today and I downloaded your app because I'm interested in the live function for football matches. how do i change match results when i hold iphone horizontally?😊
Great question! Unfortunately the iPhone horizontal user display is limited and doesn’t include all features like the scoreboard, but you can still record/stream in 16:9 (horizontal) even when you hold your iPhone vertically. Another way you can access the Scoreboard display whichever way you hold your device is to use an iPad. If that's doesn't quite answer your question, feel free to reach out to our Customer Support Team at support@switcherstudio.com!
How far apart can I use this setup from the iPad running Switcher?
I would like to use Seemo + Switcher to have different camera angles around a soccer field.
Hey there! The distance to use one of these with Switcher on an iPad or iPhone would be the distance that they can all be on the same wifi device (the same as when using Switcher without the Accsoon SeeMo adapter).
Would love to see if this would work on more advanced gimbals that have tracking capabilities
Let us know if you run any tests with gimbals!
YES!
What about Accsoon M1 for Android
You can learn more about Accsoon's other offerings on their site here: accsoonusa.com/product/accsoon-seemo-ios-hdmi-adapter/
Currently the Accsoon SeeMo adapter family is the only model that Switcher is compatible with.
Will 4k compatability be available with this update?
SeeMo works with Director Mode in 1080p and 720p. If you have an HDMI camera or source with 4k, the video will be scaled down in Switcher (SeeMo only outputs up to 1080p).
I don't see the benefit of using it, very expensive
Finally a direct connect to dedicated cameras
