I bought two to be professionally trained as guard dogs for an industrial property that has a theft problem. Watching videos about the breed before I got them had me worried about what they would be like in day to day life and how they would interact with friends and family. People ask me all the time if they are service dogs because they are so chill when I take them out and about. They are incredible with family and anyone who is invited into our space. That said, don't come close to my fence or my truck. They go from Carebears to beast mode fast. They are fearless and live for their protection training. They do have a bad habit of finding every porcupine in existence, they fully consume any rabbit they catch and they love gobbling up mice when we move equipment. Yet, despite that high prey drive they are so gentle and amazing with my 27 lbs miniature sheepadoodle and I have zero issues with other dogs. They are absolutely fearless but they are very tuned-in with what and when to protect. They are still young and continue to train but I'm so so so glad I ended up with this breed.
im sick right now, i feel bad for my presa x 😭 shes at least getting walked to the pharmacy each day and gping put for regular toilets still, but not getting her long afternoon walk, my home is unsurprisingly in a mess😂 shes ripping everything to shreds and i cant even be annoyed cuz i know its not her fault. hopefully ill be better soon and back to properly walking her :)
my small dogs hate mine, mine is a cross though (half gsd) but also she's only 8 months, they also hated my lab when she was that age 🤣 might be OK with her when she's older. if your small dogs are tolerant of other dogs and you make sure to teach the presa to respect boundaries etc then in theory it should be fine. there's always guna be people who have dogs that don't get on but usually even a reactive dog is OK with other dogs in the same home
@@lailahepburnandmischka Thanks for replying. My small dog is sort of a Himalayan wild dog, bloody good at guarding, absolutely fearless, doesn’t even care of dying while guarding but gets along with other dogs and pets, really really well, within minutes he becomes friend with any pet, be it dog or chicken.
@@rishikeshdeka8606 should be fine then. would obviously depend on the temperament of the new dog but if you have it from a puppy it shouldn't be too much of an issue ❤
Best dogs in the world ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ canary dogs are wonderful always wanted a big male ⚡️badass presa canario 🦬out of the way everybody here comes the presa
i kinda wish my dog had her ears cropped, the shepherd in her shows through hugely in her ears, it was fine when they were floppy now one is always up, the other. is sometimes up, and theyre blatant shepherd ears 🤣 when i got her she just looked like a presa, i figured she got her looks from her dad (he was full presa) but now shes starting to look more like her mum (gsd) except her coat which is short and brindle. her sisters were tan, i said at the start theyre probably get mistaken for mals cuz of the black mask and shepherd ears, if theyve developed the way my pup has im more convinced than ever they will be mistaken for mals 🤣
These are the nicest looking presas I’ve ever seen. They actually look functional.
Thank you! Our working line from SoCalPresa.com
Raven looks amazingly athletic for a large dog wow, very impressive.!
Thank you so much

Are they good with other small dogs of the family if raised from beginning ?
It depends on the breeder of the Presa and how you have raised your small dog
@@SoCalPresa Okay, if I get a Presa, I will get it from you guys as you guys breed some really good working line Presa with solid temperament.

In your opinion, is the male or the female a better guardian and defender?
Both good.
