You made it look easy! I have started to strip a 1962 Sportique engine today; I have removed the 12 nuts and bolts, but I cannot split the engine. I have tried applying heat from a hot air gun around the main shaft bearing, and tapping the cases with a rubber hammer, but nothing is moving. Do you have any other ideas?

@@iaincameron5538 have you removed the gear selector box ?
Otherwise it’s probably more heat that’s required.
