I get exhausted just watching how much you achieved. Wowza brilliant👏👏👏 Loved the little goats playing. Super idea with the shower screen glass. Such hard work laying the gravel and tending the garden. How did the mutton turn out. Bet it was yummerlishous. Great video and never disappointed ❤
Goodness me that was a busy weekend! So satisfying to get the jobs ticked off the list, isn’t it? We are having endless rain this week in the South East and it doesn’t look set to stop any time soon so we are using the time to get decorating in the house ready to put it on the market. Probably a good thing I’m not being tempted outside with so much to do inside! 😂
Wow so it’s a “from here to here” update 👍👍. Love the gravel paths and will last so much longer than bark. I remember Malcom Kingswell used grass clippings along his raspberry plants as it packed down and smothered weeds. Isn’t it funny how goats love to climb. A lovely video as always. You all work so very hard and without whining or is that wine 🍷 😊😊. Have a super week, Ali 🌧️🇨🇦
I’m so pleased with how the paths turned out. Best option available and turned out well. Great tip on the grass clippings, plenty of those kicking about! Ahh the goats make me nervous with their antics 😂 I often close my eyes 😂 thank you for watching as always and wine in the Easter holidays (gin too 😂) xx
Well you two, what a totally fab video. Loved the beginning bit, switching from job to job. The gravel looks amazing. Well done on the beds, chic, they look tremendous. Even though I'm not really gardening this year I'm praying we have some dry weather after lambing so I can get just a little something done outside, including clearing garden debris and rubbish to the tip. You are going to be super organised for this year's growing season.👏👏👏. Xx
And yet another great video from you both. Cleaning paths/ patios is part of smallholding so don't worry about it and i for one have never heard of mold on the paving slabs so it will be interesting to see how to deal with it, see you next week
Thank you Maxine. We aren’t sure what it is truthfully, it’s in the stone and never used to be. Will hopefully find out and share the knowledge. See you soon!
Staring to get there now guys , surprising how warm weather and light nights seem to inspire us on . I had a similar mould problem on my patio last year , I mixed white vinegar with salt and left it overnight to soak in , blasted it off with power washer next morning.
Brilliant update and I can’t believe the size of those ducklings! Could you please let us know what you think of the Rhode Island Reds when you butcher and eat them. I’m on the lookout for a table bird breed and don’t want any of the Ross/cobbs type, but would rather a more traditional breed. Have a great week xx

Great to see the progress and restart on the garden for the new growing season :) I’m so excited to be back out in spring again!
Thank you, it’s such a lovely feeling isn’t it!

Thank you lovely lady, I can’t wait to hear what you get up to on whatever scale 😘 xx
Genius idea re shower screens.
Ste’s! Love a freebie 🥰
Comment missing in action Steven but we use dish soap and bleach to clean mold. Leave the suds in the pavement a bit and power wash after 🤞
On the “To Try” list Ali, thank you!

Thanks Mick! We will test that on a small patch and see if we have any luck 🍀

Thanks lovely. We absolutely will 👍
Brilliant video - you achieved so much and it’s all looking fab. 👌 How was the mutton? Much appreciated after such a long day I bet. 😉 xx
Oooh it was soooo tender and tasty. Lasted days, just like old times. Cook on a Sunday and left overs Monday 🤤 xx

Tired just watching you two! To clean the pavers watered down hydrochloric acid. It can be bought neat or premixed in good diy places.
Brilliant, thank you! Will add it to the list of things to try! Much appreciated
