I fucking LOVE when a band gives the drummer a Vocal mic. I'm a drummer & I think the more vocal mics the better for a group of real MUSICIANS. Layers people, you need layers to dig it.
i love that when grizzlybear plays the have all the members to the front of the stage in a straight line all together. its nice cause you get to see all the band and its to show everyone is equal in the band.
Each member is crucial and instrumental to creating the sounds they create. It’s mesmerizing to watch live. Saw them perform this in my hometown of Denver, CO and it was hitting different
They were my fav band for the longest time. Unfortunately their more recent albums have been subpar and far from being as memorable as their songs were in their heydays
Julian George that setlist was everything I could have asked for. I also went to the August 15th show that year in Kingston, NY. Now that Kingston show was crazy; the theatre they played in was a gutted out old furniture store. They didn’t play this song that night, but it was good to get a variety between the two shows. Rarest part of the Philadelphia show mighta been “Half Gate” though; that was certainly special.
Seeing them perform this song in my hometown of Denver, CO was mesmerizing

Saw them in Philadelphia in November 2017. This is pretty much exactly what I remember this song sounding like.

They played this at the Denver show in 2013, which of course made us all there so happy. I'm glad to see they played it in Sydney too!
