- BBC Sport's new documentary, Robbie Savage: Making Macclesfield FC, follows the former Premier League player and pundit as he teams up with local businessman Rob Smethurst to establish Macclesfield FC, after Macclesfield Town were expelled from the National League in September 2020.

Fantastic,very interesting Football Documentary. This programme is brilliant. Grass-roots football at its best (even though they're playing on an artificial pitch).
Smethurst is all your bothered about is Money Money Money Greed ,but Karma will catch up with you as it has been doing .

PFA HAS GONE DOWN HILL BECAUSE OF SMETHURST GREED ,kids and Carlos loose out .
All I have seen is Savage walking around with his hands in his pockets, is he actually doing anything, is he contributing or does he think his presence is enough?
Why doesn’t Savage manage the team, because he just wants to dip in and dip out so if it goes wrong he can stand back and point the finger. Sad really and lazy.
